Gummy May 18th, 2009 1:42 PM

My name has no meaning, which isn't surprising because it's a combination of different things.

The Red Chain May 18th, 2009 1:46 PM

My name is French and it means lion. >_>
Not too hard to figure out what it is really.

Eucliffe May 18th, 2009 1:49 PM

My name in German:

All-containing; universal

...

...

XD

Wow, back in the 19th century, some boys were actually given my name (as my name is completely female). That is too funny XD

Mm, according to a DIFFERENT site (I'm into fortune telling and everything, so...).

My name in Teutonic means Nurse, and in Swedish, Universal.

Cham May 18th, 2009 1:56 PM

Apparently Jaime means the supplanter. I've never stolen or really usurped anything before, so my name does not really fit me hehe.

As for my real name, I get "form of William," from which I get this:

So I guess it all comes down to the fact that I desire protection. lulz

Congratulations.
Both our names make us out to be condoms!

What a joyful day this is!

Legobricks May 18th, 2009 3:10 PM

Rolo, derives from Rolf, which derives from Rudolf, which derives from Hrodwulf which means 'famous wolf'.

Alex May 18th, 2009 3:16 PM

Penatrait is a misspelling of the word Penetrate, which means to pierce. But if you know me, you should know that it is meant to be a sexual reference: to penetrate.

It goes along in a line of sexual references names I've had. First came Cex, and now Penatrait. :D What next, hm?

BHwolfgang May 18th, 2009 3:18 PM

There was nothing for Borey. D:

I tried my middle name, and here goes…

My middle name is Christopher, and it's origin was from Greece. Well, it means… "Bearer of Christ"

… Wow.

Gerri Shin May 18th, 2009 4:06 PM

Mine's Germanic and means Spear Ruler, I guess that means I like pointy things and I rule! XD

ShadowLeader May 18th, 2009 4:09 PM

True Reign May 18th, 2009 8:27 PM

My name is Hebrew and not only is it a major river that has caused countries of over thousands of years to fight for, but it means to descent or flow down.

From the Hebrew name מִיכָאֵל (Mikha'el) meaning "who is like God?". This is a rhetorical question, implying no person is like God. Saint Michael was one of the seven archangels in Hebrew tradition and the only one identified as an archangel in the Bible. In the Book of Revelation in the New Testament he is portrayed as the leader of heaven's armies, and thus is considered the patron saint of soldiers.

So I'm as close to God as anyone here is going to get, supposing He exists. ;3

That. And im an athiest. xD

Åzurε May 18th, 2009 10:10 PM

My name is Hebrew in origin. It means supplanter, basically a criminal, or a trickster. XD Well, my parents do say: never name your kid Joy, (also, anything which emphasizes a good quality) because they won't be what you call them. Needless to say, I'm a law-abiding citizen of planet Earth. /halo :D

It's also the most common boy's name in the US.
If you manage to guess what it is, you get a brownie point.

sirboulevard May 18th, 2009 10:17 PM

Bryan, its Gaelic meaning Noble, Strong and Virtuous or Hill. I guess that fits. Online im a Sir which is noble and strong. in RL im virtuous and I get walked all over like a hill! XD

Signomi May 18th, 2009 10:20 PM

From the Irish given name CEALLACH or the surname derived from it Ó Ceallaigh.
...okay xD

CEALLACH
Gender: Masculine
Usage: Irish
Pronounced: KEL-akh [key]
Possibly derived either from Gaelic ceallach meaning "war, strife" or from a Gaelic word meaning "bright-headed".
Hmm, I've known the former meaning of Ceallach for quite some time, but only "bright-headed" recently. I'm definitely more clever than I am warlike =x

My second/middle name, Marina, means "of the sea", obviously enough xD

Translator May 18th, 2009 11:13 PM

My name's origin is Greek and the meaning of my name is stone.

Guillermo May 18th, 2009 11:28 PM

Um, dunno. One sec.. apparently it means "Determined protector" XD

Åzurε May 18th, 2009 11:39 PM

Camisado, I believe that by Bright-headed they actually meant blond. Like the hair color. I don't mean to offend you, of course, but the Gaelic peoples put much store on blond hair, for some reason.

.inLOVE May 19th, 2009 1:39 AM

Mine means "forest clearing".

That's scary.

Ayselipera May 19th, 2009 5:51 AM
