Metroid Prime Trilogy
Recently, it was announced that all 3 Metroid Primes will be compiled into one disk. To add to that, Metroid Prime 1 and 2 will have the same control scheme from Prime 3. The game will be $49 which is basically 3 games for the price of 1 and it will be out in August 24th, 2009 for North America.
Article I was actually wondering when this would come out. I remember it being announced that Metroid Prime 1 and 2 would be separate releases with the control scheme of Prime 3. Currently, that is true for Japan only. However, I was surprised to find out that all 3 of them are coming in one disk. :o I have yet to play Metroid Prime 3 so I've never experienced the control scheme for it. Regardless, I will definitely get the trilogy because I only have Metroid Prime 2 left and 3 games for the price in one is a good deal to me. Who else plans to get it? |
*drool*
I haven't played the first two games, but if they are half as good as Corruption I am sure that I will absolutely love it. And the control scheme for Corruption is nearly flawless, with only a few things I hope they fix with this release. (Mainly interacting with the pushing interfaces, it took forever for me XD) |
!
Wow. I haven't played Prime 2 or Corruption, so this is great. |
that's cool. I beat corruption and there was an extreme lack of enemies in it. It was very bland. But 1 was awesome! i remember playing it at my friends house. The pirates were everywhere and scared the crap out of me.
There better be online play >:[ |
Metroid Prime Online?
That would be epic. Then I would play my Wii way more than once a month. I'm kind of glad that this compilation is coming out, because I don't have any of the Metroid Prime games, and I've heard that all of them, especially Echoes, are great. |
I'm looking forward to the new controls. What I am not looking forward to is that they added the Voiceovers from Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Metroid into the Prime Games. Otherwise, DO WANT!
|
D: My life would be complete!
I have yet to beat all of the Primes, as of now I have only beaten the first one. But hey, I'm a sucker for game compilations, so I think it would work out well for me xD I doubt they'd have a Metroid Prime Online; I feel like so few people would play it. Also, it wouldn't be all that great either, what with the Wii's immature online community :/ |

I don't see why we'd get an online mode with this. Online one of the games (Echoes) feature multiplayer and...well...sucked. Badly. Do you want to play that online? Probably not. |
One disc? I'm surprised they are able to fit all three games in there.
I think I will get this if it gets released over here, the first Metroid Prime is my second favorite game and I would enjoy playing it with MP3's controls. |

I've actually only played the third and final game and I didn't even get past the tutorial. :/ I guess I just sucked at it, but I was really unmotivated to play also. XD; Maybe I'll consider getting this.

And yesh, this will be one of the next things added to my game collection. :D |
Through all the crapstorm of Nintendo's E3 conference, Metroid Prime: Other M, which shows a darker side of the franchise. I, for one, am VERY excited for it.
