Chaining Help
Hey guys! I'm trying to chain for a Mareep in the Valley Windworks, and I was wondering if having a Ralts with Synchronize fainted in the first slot and having a Raichu with Static (not fainted) in the second slot would work.
I want to increase the chances of chaining Mareep with Static but also want it to have the Modest nature. Also, what does a shiny grass patch look like? |
Shiny patch depends on the time of day. YT search "shiny patch", and you'll find more than enough examples. Trust me, you can't miss 'em.

i tried chaining to get a mareep and i got upto a chain of 11 and i couldn't find mareep :/

Sorry, but that won't work.
Have Raichu (either fainted or at a high level) in front. Chain. When you see your shiny patch, switch the Raichu with the fainted Ralts. Your shiny pokemon will be synchronized with the Ralts. Of course, Synchronize only works 50% of the time. A shiny patch pulses 4 bright white stars. You can't miss it since it's obvious and the animation lasts longer than the other patches. Mareep is found in the faint speckled bushes. |
