Legitamacy of a Pokemon.

My typhlosion was breeded as a cyndaquil legitly with a Ditto and another Typhlosion. When it was ev trained, the trainer used rare candies acquired by AR to level it up so the process would be easier. Would my typhlosion still be legit? Comment your opinions please :)

The Typhlosion itself would be legit, and so would the stats. I'd say yes. But then, some people might say if it was fully brought up naturally, then no. But I would say yes.

Ok more opinions pls! Ty

Well.... yeah, it should be considered legit. AR, as you know, produces "illegally" obtained goods, so some may consider it illegit. Just.... try to make sure if you're playing on trading or battling with the pokes you get, they weren't changed in any way with any cheating device to make sure that you can get the all-clear with all the others here.

As long as the Pokémon (nor its parents) isn't altered with said cheat device, it's legit; and in your example, that's perfectly explicable, as one could clone those countless times even without an AR.

would it be considered non-legit if i use a code to only encounter, lets say MetaGross, and i catch it at LV 2, and Pal park it, and train it in Platinum?

No, the Typhlosion isn't.
Yes, the Metagross would be.
And, please use the help thread for questions.
Locking because this is answered.

I would just like to correct my fellow Moderator on a couple of matters:

That would be what is classed as a non-legit Pokemon, because you cannot capture Metagross naturally in the games. It would also be illegitimate for three other reasons; Beldum can only be obtained from Hoenn at Level 5 and Beldum can only be obtained at Level 1 of a single-digit Level in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, due to the Level Cap on Eggs being reduced. If you are capturing it, the location would also raise questions for its legitimacy.

Typhlosion would be legitimate because no one cares if you hack in Rare Candys to boost a Pokemon's level; its other stats would remain as they were. (it would also get to Level 100 naturally at some point, anyway... and it doesn't matter for onine battles, because you can set a Level Cap) So long as no other codes were used to alter its other stats, (like HP, Attack, etc.) then there would be no foreseeable problems with it to raise the question of its legitimacy.
