GSC MonoPokemon Challenge

I think that GSC is probably the best generation to do this on, cause it'll be the most challenging. And these Challenges are supposed to be nothing less than a challenge. :D

So this is going to be your basic MonoPokemon Challenge, but I've added a little twist to it. Here are the rules:
  • You are allowed to pick one Pokemon that you will use, and you may evolve it whenever you wish (so long as it has reached the required amount of levels).
  • You may only have one of the Pokemon you chose. No duplicates. It is a MonoPokemon Challenge and not a MonoSpecies Challenge.
  • This Pokemon must be obtained before you reach Azalea Town. You may use your starter until you catch your chosen Pokemon if it isn't a starter itself.
  • You must use this Pokemon to beat the entire Johto portion of the game, including the Elite Four and all paths leading up to it within Kanto.
Now this is where the twist comes in. As soon as you beat the Elite Four, you will be allowed to pick any Pokemon that was available to you up to this point, and use it alongside your original Pokemon for the Kanto portion of the game. From the moment you get on the S.S. Anne until you beat Red. I did this to add a little more fun to the game and little less challenge because beating Red with one Pokemon would be pretty hard. You are also allowed to have as many copies of your second Pokemon as you would like, if you feel that you won't be able to beat Red with simply 2 Pokemon.

So the continued rules are...
  • Your second Pokemon may only be a Pokemon you've already encountered in the game.
  • You may have as many copies of your second Pokemon, but your original can only be one
  • You can only start training your second Pokemon once you've beaten the Elite Four. Yes this means you may catch it beforehand, but you must store it in your PC until you've beaten the Elite Four.
  • This challenge ends once you've beaten Red. You may do what you wish once you've beaten Red, it will no longer count towards the challenge.
  • HM slaves are allowed but cannot be used in battle or levelled up.
  • Use of cheating devices is just wrong. No one will know but you're just lying to yourself and that's pretty lame, it's not like there's a prize at stake here.
  • No flaming other people's update report posts.
Try not to use other people's Pokemon, keep it original. Now then, post your application to start playing by stating the two Pokemon you will be playing with and go ahead! You may add additional information if you feel you should, like if you're playing with an emulator, etc.

Hehehe... I think I'll just go ahead and do this... seems pretty fun doing G/S/C challenges

I'll use Sentret, and then throw in Vulpix after the E4 (Can I breed for Egg moves?)
This will be on Silver (No Vulpix in Crystal =( )

I also forgot to mention that this is on an emulator so I'll probably finish really fast

I also realized that I need to change the game's clock to catch a Sentret as it is technically still night in-game >w<

Uh... 1st update?

All right I've added you up there. Wow you really are doing this fast. XD; but I know why, the speed-up button on the VBA emulator is ridiculously fast.

Anyway I'm about to get started on my game.
