It has always been at level 30. RED GYARADOS looks SO EPIC in this game! I just want to hug it and feed it one of Silver's delicious homemade cupcakes! Does anyone remember what attacks it knew in the original? Will it have the same attacks or better ones?
|
If It's at level 30 then it should know:
|
that is a good story hope they keep it in
|
They could very easily change what moves Gyarados learns (at least the levels), so there's no way to tell what attacks it will know until a movelist is released.
|
Since DPP, though, the Gyarados moveset has changed. I don't think it will have those attacks now, but he's going to be so epic now. Just go battle any Gyarados in DPP and you'll know why.
|
i bet the game will begin with the same intro as pokemon diamond and pearl.
remember? the tv? |
they will have the red gyrados because it was part of the plotline
DUH!!! |

So, I still reckon It's bound to be in the game. It was a part of the main storyline and it was the way you got introduced to Lance. |
UPDATE!
A RED GYARADOS CUTSCENE FROM HG/SS! |

And, it probably will have the same moves since it didn't have the same moves in the original game. |
Lolz, that video is over 10 days old! I have been saying that for a while now.

But at least now, It's proven. |
Too bad you can't trade it back a generation, encounter a ditto, let it use transform and then bag yourself a shiny ditto :(
I miss the tricks in the old games, the new ones aren't glitchy enough for my liking... |
Now what i'm wondering is something competitive about the gyrados. See what most people don't know was that in g/s/c you only get a shiny pokemon when it's IV's were perfect, so actually when you caught red gyrados it was the perfect gyrados bar egg moves. I'm wondering if they will keep the gyrados's(?) IV's the same in the remake, so all you need to do is catch it and teach it the right moves and go straight to battle.
