Different fonts in signature?

So, I've been receiving lots of feedback on how the font of my signature doesn't match. So, I went into edit signature and tried [font=Papyrus.....yadada.
IT WORKED.

So, I'm thinking, what are some other fonts that show up?

If you want to VM me one that is all cursive and stuff, that's what I'm looking for, but a long list would be helpful for other PCers.

Well, if my assumption of the internet, HTML, and CSS is correct, any font should do as long as it's installed on the viewer's computer. A lot of fonts are pre-installed with most computers. If it's on your computer, you can use it, but just remember some people might not be able to see it correctly.

If you are looking for font lists, w3schools has one somewhere I believe. Also, if you use Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or iWorks, those should/do have a font drop-down/list. You can use those as well.

Any font could technically work actually. You just need to try them all out. Now where to find them is the hard part. The fun part is trying out PC with special fonts.

Um... if you put in any font that you have on your computer, it'll show up for you as that font. However if someone else viewing your sig doesn't have that font installed on their computer, it'll show up for them as one of the defaults set by their browser or the board. It's best to use "common fonts" that almost anyone has, and if you use CSS instead of the font tags to set your font, you can specify different back-up fonts to use in case the first one isn't installed, too.

As I understand it I think that all fonts work. That is, a user will see any font that they have installed on their computer. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. xD;

Edit: beaten x4 :<

Bear in mind, though, that if a user doesn't have a particular font installed they won't see it. Any font that you use that they don't have will just revert to a standard font.
