Translations, thanks to Yaminokame:
Quote:

Scan 1:
The first scan was already shown earlier this week, but now we can see Ho-Oh, Lugia, and Entei's sprites. Overworld shots of Ho-Oh in front of the Tin Tower and Lugia in the Whirl Islands are also shown. The scenes will probably precede or follow those 3D shots of Ho-Oh flying around the Tin Tower and Lugia sitting behind the wave of water - the 3D scenes that were revealed a while ago. Both Pokemon are at Level 45.

Scan 2:
The second scan shows the Kimono Girls, Red Gyarados, Pokemon Gyms, and more Pokethlon mini-games. It appears that inside of Ilex Forest, you can team up with one of the Kimono Girls to help her find the exit, similar to Cheryl in DPPt's Eterna Forest. The scan states that the Kimono Girl holds a "key" to the story, perhaps meaning that she literally has a key for the player. The screenshot that shows the dance studio the Kimono Girls reside in has a Team Rocket grunt in it, so it seems Team Rocket has some involvement with them... the grunt says, "So, you can't listen to your customer's commands, huh?", yelling at the Kimono Girls. When you encounter the Red Gyarados in the Lake of Rage, it will be raining. It's at Level 30.

In addition to the Dash Hurdle and Bound Field mini-games we learned about yesterday, the scan reveals two new Pokethlon games: Ring-Out Fight and Shooting Snow. Shooting Snow seems to involve... shooting snow, while Ring-Out Fight appears to be like the Hitmontop game in Pokemon Stadium 2 where you have to knock Pokemon out of a ring (though we can't confirm that for sure). The Pokethlon comes with five different courses, each based on the speed, power, technique, stamina, and jump stats. Each course is made up of three races.

Scan 3:
For the third scan we have PokeGear and PokeWalker information. You can check the Johto map on the PokeGear and it has a radio and phone (not real ones of course). Unlike previous Pokemon games, you can now assign two key items (like a Super Rod and Bicycle) using the DS's Y button and a reserved button on the touch screen. The scan also shows that the Item Finder has been redesigned, which you can see on the middle of the page to the left (the black circle with orange and a dot). You can also use it as you walk - you do not have to stop to use it. The scan also states that when you win a battle, your mom will save up money for you and will sometimes use it to buy items for you.

As for the PokeWalker, you can connect to a friend's PokeWalker using your own. On the bottom of the scan you can see two PokeWalkers connecting to each other, one with a Cyndaquil and the other with a Pikachu. One of the players receives an Oran Berry in doing so, which means that there will probably be ways of obtaining items when connecting with your friend's PokeWalker. Additionally, one of the screenshots shows the PokeWalker's Item Finder discovering a Rare Candy, which may mean it will allow players to obtain rare items. The scan also gives us our first look of a Pokemon getting captured on the PokeWalker - you can see a Poke Ball capturing a Sentret. While battling Sentret, there is a new option - "Dodge." You can choose to dodge your opponent's attacks and then retaliate, just like in the anime. It is also revealed that the PokeWalker will record your daily progress in a journal.

Scan 4:
As for the fourth scan, it confirms that the Level 1 Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina you receive from Arceus will be able to learn Metal Burst, Hydro Pump, and Shadow Sneak (respectively). There are screenshots of each Pokemon using their attack.

Scan 5:
In the final scan, Notched-Ear Pichu's attacks are confirmed to be Pain Split, Volt Tackle, Helping Hand, and Swagger. It is also stated that it cannot evolve and it cannot be traded out of the two games.

With these new scans posted, we can now say that the Latios, Latias, and Mewtwo factoids posted the other day were most likely fake. There is no indication in the scans of any of those Pokemon being in the games, though if Kanto is included, Mewtwo may be too.

Could minor differences in Pokemon sprites like Notched-Ear Pichu and the dodge option be early features of the next generation of games? We'll find out next year most likely!

Eusine is back, yo.

Other info - there are 9 minigames in HG/SS, one which is a racing game, used via the stylus. The Arceus - Dialga/Palkia/Giratina event have the Pokemon come with the moves Metal Burst/Hydro Pump/Shadow Sneak respectively. The Red Gyarados appears at level 30, and Lugia/Ho-oh in SS/HG respectively at level 45 (currently unknown what level the other appears at).

A summery of what the 6 pages are to hold (one page unknown, we only have one page thus far - anything not here currently in doubt):
Spoiler:
Scoop 1 - Rakou, Entei, Suicune chase
- Suicune Chaser Eusine

Scoop 2 - Ho-oh/Lugia appearance
- Ho-oh at Bell Tower, Lugia at Whirl Islands both lv45

Scoop 3 - Poke suron Minigame
- Mini game uses the stylus

Scoop 4 - Pokemon Gym
- Various traps

Scoop 5 - Red Gyarados
- Lake of Rage lv30

Scoop 6 - ???

Strong Rumours - [email protected] are in (roaming?) at level 30, Mewtwo is also reportedly in HG/SS (level unknown), Battle Frontier is in.

IMPORTANT: Some of this info may be disproven though - there are 'conflicting reports', so rely on the actual scans only for now, or what gets updated as 'confirmed' info.

Yay Eusine

Xatoku July 10th, 2009 2:53 AM

Thanks for the update bro, things keep gettin better and better.

Wichu July 10th, 2009 2:53 AM

Awesome art of the trio there :D
It's interesting that they're putting Eusine in, despite him being Crystal-only, and leaving the female character from Crystal out... At least it means they haven't completely forgotten about the game :P Maybe she will make a cameo somewhere?

Level 30 Mewtwo/Latias/Latios? Or is Mewtwo at a higher level? It's weird that they're adding in low-leveled legendaries... Do you think the new moves will see play on Dialga/Palkia/Giratina? Hydro Pump is a viable option, mainly in doubles. Metal Burst is a bit unreliable, but it might be pretty interesting to use against the Pokémon which can't OHKO Dialga (i.e. most of them). And Shadow Sneak doesn't seem all that useful on Giratina, as it doesn't learn Swords Dance or any Attack-boosting moves... It could work against Deoxys Attack Forme, though, and maybe to finish off some weakened Pokémon.

Haza July 10th, 2009 2:54 AM

Something is wrong with the picture but it may just be my computer. Same info revealed on pokebeach. This is all good news.

billi1000 July 10th, 2009 3:04 AM

nice nice so Eusine is back, does that mean suicune is going to be battled in Tin Tower like crystal?, naaa, dont really think so because tin tower will be crowded, as in gold you can catch Ho-oh about the same time u can catch suicune in crystal, but yeah, the reappearance of this dude does put a big question mark there. and again, nintendo is including more legends from previous generations in these games, i love it, i really do, but why is nintendo moving away from depending on previous pokemon games to complete the pokedex, hope its not a compatibility thing, since DSi doesnt take GBA catridges, but does that mean it cant comunicate with other machines?, well i really dont think so, but lets just hope not...

Mitchman July 10th, 2009 3:04 AM

Okay the dogs are just about *****ing. Eusine! I love this game.

Haza July 10th, 2009 3:07 AM

If you zoom in on the pic you can see part of Lugias sprite. Also, it feels like legendary overkill, but thats okay with me.

Satoshi Ookami July 10th, 2009 3:08 AM

Awesome new update! I expected Eusine :D
And I hope that they'll put Mew2 into Cerulean Cave :D

seeker July 10th, 2009 3:09 AM

I think Mewtwo Will be on the mountain in a new area in Johto like in the movie Mewtwo Returns. If anyone has seen it they will know what i mean. I think it would be a really cool nostalgic feel. If anyone hasn't seen this movie, the mountain is basically the larrgest one in Johto in which Mewtwo and all the clone pokemon fled to after the first movie.

Mitchman July 10th, 2009 3:10 AM

Is it more is eusine more awesome then before. Also this means the crystal plot will be in like I expected. I really want more stuff.

Asgard July 10th, 2009 3:10 AM

Eusine! :'D I don't remember if I liked him or not in Crystal yaaay! :> I want to see the fullbody art of him now, though~ Dx

I like the little preview of the legendary dogs ingame at the bottom :> I always imagined Entei as being towards the front, not Suicune, though... -w-; Raikou looks very poofy.

Personally I'm unsure about this - it may be a new area, sure, but I doubt they'd follow the movie (as the games are different from it and all - also why you won't see the Orange Islands in HG/SS BUT that's another story). Considering they had Cerulean Cave having 'caved in' in GSC though... shall be interesting to see if it's back. (That, and the Berserk Gene).

Some interestiung info there, if it turns out to be true. I'm please, but not too surprised by the Crystal subplot getting in again (two screenshots earlier hinted it could come back after all).

I am assuming you mean the inclusion of two exits for the ruins in the ruins of alph and the suicune ledge correct?

DarkPrince304 July 10th, 2009 3:17 AM

This is awesome
Can't wait for more
I think Mewtwo will be in the Cerulean Cave...and My 3 Pet dogs look cute :P
3 Dog's OW also looks awesome!

Mitchman July 10th, 2009 3:19 AM

Also it should be noted the level of Lugia/Ho-oh in their respective games went from 40 to 45 meaning the second one should be around 75. Which would mean that the gyms have been levelled up quite a bit.

Haza July 10th, 2009 3:23 AM

Serebii has reported that Lugia/Ho oh will have "hidden abilities". Wonder exactly what that means. Pressure never really worked for me anyway.

Mitchman July 10th, 2009 3:24 AM

Hidden abilties. Forme change? Nah we would know..hmm...

That is exactly what I thought when I first read it but I was afraid to say so. I really hope so.

Mitchman July 10th, 2009 3:30 AM

But as I said we would know or they would have them as the box cover. Oh well we will see.

GameplayerHGSS July 10th, 2009 3:32 AM

I need to ask something before this comes out! Is anyone gonna play/buy the japanese versions of these games before the english, cause i heard it might not come out until fall 2010 for the US...

I'd find that interesting, since I loved that film I would love the nostalgia. Since this is celebrating G/S/C's 10th birthday, I suppose it could happen...

Haza July 10th, 2009 3:33 AM

Just a thought. The reason they wouldnt be on the covers is because you would only be able to get the alternate forme of each on the opposite game? Lol, IDK.
