Guinness World Record entry for Movie 11
Here.
Pokémon: Giratina & The Bouquet of the Sky - Shaymin now holds the world record for “Greatest advance sales for an animated film”. The count: 2,384,198 pre-sale tickets in Japan. The anime still has some steam in Japan. If the link doesn't work than please tell me. Also, if anyone wanted to know. The Pokémon franchise holds three world records. Two of them are anime related [Movie 11 and Seizures] and 1 game related [Ruby version]. None are manga or TCG related. |
I don't know what else to say, except,
cool story bro d('.'d) |
Holy Magikarps. Now just imagine if Pokemon showed in theaters in the US.
Well... Let's see what happens with the next movie :O. |
That's really awesome! :D

I remember the whole seizure thing that happened around ten years ago. That was probably the craziest time in pokemon history.
Back on topic, I bet this won't be the last record pokemon receives. I can easily see them getting a few more records before their time is up......however long that is |

Oh wow, that's really cool. I really wouldn't have expected it

Either way, I'd be doomed, and so would anyone else in school down here. |
D: Eh, the cool kids can shove it.
Pokemon is still popular and I really hope it doesn't stop. :D I think that the next movie will do good as well. |

That's pretty awesome. Knowing that the anime and movies are still going strong makes me glad, even if it's only in Japan.

But anyway, that's pretty interesting that Pokemon has set three world records. :D |

And guess what, the thing that caused the seizures was Pikachu's fault. That is why I hate Pikachu. Porygon is awesome :( On Topic: Heh, just another one of several records Pokemon has made. |

Not one, not two, but hree world records? Very impressive.
|
thats really intresting. As much as I'd like to see the movies on the big screen in the states, that won't happen for a long time
|
It was the first five movies, not four. But the fifth only aired in a little more than 100 theaters in the U.S. So few people actually got to watch the movie.
|
I knew Pokemon would get some records. I mean, how could it not!?
|
So, that's three world records this franchise has under it's belt? Most impressive!
|
Ohh! I remember when the First Movie, MewTwo Strikes Back came out, it was in theaters too, back when Burger King sold the Pokemon Toys, I had a Sandslash that attached to a keychain... I lost it in the theater. I was so sad, but I also remember getting the big Pokeball's with the Gold Pokemon card's in them. I still have my Togepi =3... I had a Charizard or something, I think it was Mewtwo, but it got lost years ago and the Pokeball broke a few years back =.=
|
Burger King was selling Pokémon toys a few weeks ago. They were selling cards and stuff.
|
Wow, 2,384,198 pre-order tickets? D: That's amazing!
Then again, the 11th movie WAS pretty badass >:3 |
| All times are GMT -8. The time now is 2:35 AM. |
