Okay, New Topic.

How do you guys progress your stroyline. Do you plan every event, or as you make the game you progress the storyline, and add new events as you see fit.

The second option by far.

By the last release of Infernal Legend, I will have probably replaced every major event from beta 1.

I was planning my hack back when I was 7 years old. I didn't know ROM Hacking was possible; that was the time I got a LEGO Racers game. I played that all the time, but in school I was secretly planning every single Gym puzzle and almost every event...
Yes, the storyline has changed a bit. I decided to let Kyogre out, since I saw Wujifin of Samson.

I plan some mayor and important events first and then fit some minor ones between important ones.

Same as what Ash said. I usually make the biggest of the biggest events first and then afterwards, I plan out the smaller events, which I usually change after the betas. :P

I wing it. It's probably not the best way to go about things but, it's the way I work best. I get distracted a little too quick, so if I have stuff completely planned out, I'd get bored.

Thankfully, I do things in the heat of the moment to keep it exciting. Goon is right.
And once I can get to learning scripting instead of imagining it in my head, I won't have much trouble.

He edited the flower animation. Or he may have added new animations, but I think he edited it. :3

Some people find it difficult, you know, to edit Animations normally (such as me) (finding the offsets especially, then the pallettes if you use a different pallette than normal and so on!). Show some respect please, as when you have a new skill, then it is an achievement. (and as you haven't shown off animations yet, then you definitely have no reason)

And you should be, a lot of people can't do this.

Regarding this, what are some of the things you have found when scrolling through Tile Molester?

I've found stuff like icons, R/S/E backsprites, the speedboat animation and even a strange Prof. Oak sprite. :3

What are people's feelings on the inclusion of the HM Flash in a hack? And if you choose not to give the player Flash, do you simply leave it out or do you create some sort of replacement for it?
Flash was always my least favorite of the HMs/broken bridge tactics and to say that I despise it would be a gross understatement.

Flash was never a brokenbridge tactic. It was more of a damaged-bridge. You could go on without it, like I did when I couldn't beat Brawly in Emerald. >=[

I found flash completely useless and pointless. Gamefreak could have been a little more creative. :3

I also hate Flash... it's useless attack and it just blocks me from giving other HM to my HM Slave...
But I'm keeping it in hack since it's part of game.
