Used Manga

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE buying brand new manga but sometimes it gets pricey. So my alternative is this great used bookstore called Edward Mckays. they sell retro games and stuff too. but the manga is anywhere between 2-5 bucks a pop and they are all in great condition and yesterday i bought 7 manga for 22 bucks!

Does anyone else have a good used bookstore that they buy their manga from?
If so post the name of the store and the prices you usually get stuff for.

Well, there's a store called McKays(no Edward) about an hour away from me. I usually have to go that way to get to my orthodontist, so I usually go up there and load up on manga while I'm up there :3

Haha, yepp. Its kind of a good feeling buying a pile of manga and having to much of it to read for your own good :3

I go to Bookoff usually, but then I'm not at all limited in my choices. Only the newest and most popular stuff is "expensive" at around ¥300 and many go for only ¥100 and sometimes less.

Reading, on the other hand, is the more challenging part.

mmm, usually i only go to used book stores for manga when I'm looking for the older manga that isn't in normal bookstores often. Other than that, i buy manga from Borders because of the weekly discounts (usually)

Most all manga I get is bought at any one of the Half-Price Books near me. Everything is literally half-price, so if it was eight dollars, now it's four dollars. I also like how it'll sometimes have a series I like in the authentic Japanese volumes. Though they lock their more adultish manga up, I don't like that, because its' interesting to look at (for some reason or another).
