Do you listen to..
Do you listen to music in other languages? What do you listen to? Why? Why don't you listen to it?
Don't be the idiot who goes "I don't listen to them because I b no understand it" You can always look up English lyrics. |
I love Spanish, French, and Japanese music.
|
I have no specific language that I prefer, however, I do listen to a Russian, Swedish, Finnish, Israeli, and Spanish band. There are more too.
|
I occassionally listen to Japanese and French music, and English, of course.
|
Other than... English? Your native language?
It doesn't matter what language it is as long as the music is good. |
Japanese and Korean. Really just Utada and BoA. And the odd Kumi Koda.....
|
Nope, I don't listen to other language music.. it's always English for me ;;
|
I don't take language into account whilst deciding if I like a band or not.
I listen to a few German bands and Japanese anime OSTs. |
Er...I listen to Caramelldansen
/shot |
Yes I do.
Besides English, I listen to Japanese songs (orJ-pop, as some may refer), mostly due to watching anime in Japanese. |
Yes:
Chinese, Dutch, Finnish, German, Japanese, Punjabi, Spanish, Swedish. Most of them are simply nicer sounding than English and flow of the tongue well, or in the case of German appropriately harsh for use in metal. Quote:

I listen to japanese music because I find the lyrics to have a wide range of meanings. From deep and touching to complete nonsense
|
I listen to a bit of Japanese music, like Polysics and Miyavi.
I'd probably enjoy it more if I understood it. Polysics is quite fun and Engrish though. |
yeah i like to listen to foreign music
anything that sounds good and is rock is fine with me |
I mostly listen to English music, but occasionally I listen to Japanese music.
|
I'm going to be the idiot.
|
yes i do in Spanish cause wellmyparents play it all the time and sometimes its good
|
Well I listen to some Spanish and Korean music. But for the most part I will listen to Japanese. <3 I think it is nice to listen to music from different languages. You expand your cultural horizon. And it will feel like you are not alone listening to this song. Probably someone is listening the same song, but in their native language.
|
I like Big Bang and BoA... but otherwise, no. XD;
|
I'll listen to music in any language as long as I like it. I don't have a "preference" for choosing a particular language. But currently, most of my music is if not English, then Japanese.
|
I can name most, if not all, of the languages I've heard songs in, aside from English: French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Romanian, Italian, Latin, Swedish (not just Caramelldansen), Japanese, Korean, Hebrew, and Arabic.
