Emerald - Where to find?

Hi everyone.
A while ago my Emerald game was found out to be a fake, so I decided to buy a new one. However, I can't find a copy anywhere. Where I live there are no game shops, and I can't seem to find a reliable website to buy one from (the fake was from Amazon.com). Does anyone know of any sites that are reliable?
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
I had a look on pokemon.com, but I can't find the shop option. Could you help me out there?
Thanks.

ebay.com I got 30 pokemon figures all perfect condition and all ^^
I got 1 plush (pokemon)
just check to see the percentage at the top left under the name ^^

But there is no way of checking if the game is real until you receive the game, which is probably too late. That's why I would prefer to use a proper shop rather than some random guy who happens to be selling the game, as the proper shops only get their stock from proper suppliers.

simple learn all the little nooks and crannies and it will be easy

There's plenty that are on eBay. Just make sure you read the description of the item and check the feedback of the seller. It's on a percentage scale, so look for someone up in the 90+ percentile. I'm positive there's plenty, seeing that I look for random stuff there all day.

Try Wal-mart.com I'm sure they sell it.

Xebelleon July 30th, 2009 6:36 AM

Pawn Shop?
eBay could work. Might get one with the ever useful dead clock...

A lil Fagadorable July 30th, 2009 7:58 AM

Wal-Mart, TYarget, and Bestbuy the last time I checked still sold them. If you don't have one of those around, try their websites.

Just look like hell and you'll be rewarded. Took me a year to find LeafGreen, but once i did, it was brilliant.

It was preowned, but came with everything cept those wireless thingies for the GBA. And u could lol at the old owner's pokes before starting on your own.

First of all... how could you tell it was fake... if it was fake... then who cares... as long as you can play it... if you can't play it then you can get your money back from the seller on amazon.com, or tell Nintendo that there is a person on Amazon.com knowingly selling fake versions of emerald to get your money back lol... have fun...

Try Different people on Amazon... people with a lot of good ratings

I'll try finding one then. Thanks for your help guys and gals. :)

The best way to guarantee a legit copy from Ebay is to buy one that comes complete with the box. Make sure the auction listing has pictures of the actual item and not just a generic picture.

Find out what the real game label looks like and compare it to the one the person is selling. Fake copies almost always have errors or different looking labels.

The main reason to buy a legit copy instead of fake is because the fakes will often stop saving your game or randomly lose your save.

Remember, when buying via eBay or Amazon, remember to ask the seller what is the color of the cartridge. If it is gray or any other color then translucent green, it is fake.

try on ebay, very trustfull

enterteinor August 14th, 2009 7:42 AM

I hate amazon, i got a fake game from they too D=

AtomicoExploda August 14th, 2009 10:50 AM

Well, I prefer ebay to amazon, and I find it reliable, so yeah, ebay would be good.

Parshath August 14th, 2009 2:31 PM

Bought mine from Ebay two weeks ago, everything went fine for 11 Euros. :)

Watch out with batteries, I had a problem with a Pokemon Gold, also from Ebay.

Try an emulator, I like them better.
Although I only download ROMs for games I've already bought, just out of principle.

Wal-Mart or gamestop should have copy there. I got mine at wal-mart

Try Walmart.com or Gamestop.com.

But your best bet is

NINTENDO.COM

Just bought my second copy at GameStop. Just ask the person at the counter.

Ebay. Or gamestop. Both work
