PKRS + Macho items.

I have a question. For gaining EVs, PKRS doubles it.
For example, I defeated a Haunter and I got 2 Sp. Atk. EVs.

Pokerus would of doubled it, to be 4.
Now, if I was wearing the Power Lens, would It be 8? or 6?

And what goes first, Pokerus, or the Power Lens?
Like it is

2 + 8 x 2?

This is so confusing.
If I was wearing a Power Lens and I had Pokerus, what would the outcome of the EV-gained from defeating a Haunter?

Also, is there a way to reset the Counter App on the Poketch?

Thanks for all your help.

Pokerus doubles the EVs after everything else has been calculated:
Macho Brace: 2x(2xEVs)
Power Item: 2x(4+EVs)

In your case, battling a Haunter (2 sp. atk EVs):
Macho Brace: 2x(2x2) = 2x4 = 8
Power Item: 2x(2+4) = 2x(6) = 14

Does this make sense?

Also, only way to reset the counter is to switch to another app.

[nf]So Let's say I beat a Magikarp with the speed power item.
So since a Power item adds like 2x(4+1[magikarp ev]) that's 10. Then Pokerus doubles it? That's 20, that seems kind of wrong...

Can you make it a little bit clearer?

Also thanks for helping.[/nf]

Actually, you didn't need to double it again. The calculations I did up there already accounted for Pokerus. The calculation for battling a Magikarp (or any Pokemon) with Pokerus and a Power item is:
2[Pokerus] x (4 [Power Item] + 1 [Magikarp EVs]) = 2 x 5 = 10 EVs.

Does this make more sense?

Oh, so Pokerus comes first, then the power item, then the amount of EVs for the Pokemon you defeated?[/nf]

Its for magikarp 1+4 (Power Item) =5x2=10 so Magikarp would give 10 speed evs (2.5 SP Atk)

(For trivial purposes), you don't gain half or quarter points when EV training. It's either the whole point or nothing (so it would just be 2). Just nitpicking.

PEMDAS :3

So with the formula: PR*(MB*EV), which PR is the value of PokeRus = 2 and MB is the Macho Brace which = 2 and EV is your variable of Effort Value gain then according to the PEMDAS order of operation, you have to multiply the effort values times 2. With Pokerus then you double again because you have taken care of the parenthesis

With Power Items, the formula is different, assuming EVs are the same as the stat the Power Item is advancing: PR*(PI+EV) which PI = 4 of Stat X assuming EV is the effort value point of the same Stat X.

Does that make sense?

Ok you guys are so complicated. Is it like this?

Pokerus * (Power-object + evs)

I just wanted a simple response <.<

NEVER MIND.

PEMDAS FTW? :D :D :D :D :D

Yes... Pokerus times (power object plus EV) Spelling out FTW.

Anyway, Starly I believe gives you two speed EV's, so:
2*(4 + 2) that equals 12.
