Random facts for the win :D

I got two because it is the same subject . . .

The airplane was originally suppose to be spelled areoplane, but the newspaper screwed up.
The propeller on a plane is misleading due to the face the root word "propel" means to push forward when the propellers on a plane pulls air in, not pushes forward.

That's what the first epsiode of a new show is called. xD

When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbour, they were going to give themselves up. But, an American shot down a plane with the father of one of the other pilots. The pilot was the captain, and told them to attack. So America caused Pearl Harbour.

Plants grow towards the light as they produce a hormone that is sensitive to light. The hormone goe to the dark side of the plant, and make that grow, making the flower face the light source.
