Pounce October 7th, 2004 2:07 PM

uhh.. I probably can't help you, because I use the same Pokemon to defeat everyone (I used Venusaur this time around because it was the starter I chose)... but it was at level 85 the first time I went up against them, and did just fine ^^; so maybe battle more people until it's leveled up? I wouldn't depend too much on the others.

firered_deoxys October 7th, 2004 2:13 PM

well I can't help much seeing as I started with charizard, but it was hardly over lvl 70, and my weakest pokemon was lvl 40 (p.s. I borrowed my friends charizard as well so you might need a little training)

AdamHays October 7th, 2004 2:32 PM

Here you need better moveset first.

Venusaur lvl 70- razor leaf,frenzy plant,solarbeam,strength
Moltres lvl 52-Fly,Flamethrower,Fire Spin,Skyattack(Arielace until you get skyattack)
Zapdos lvl 51-Drill Peck,Shock Wave,Detect,Thunderbolt
Articuno lvl 50-Ice Beam,Water Pulse,Fly,Mind Reader
Snorlax lvl 30-Headbutt,Surf,Rest,Snore
Nidoking lvl 32-Helping Hand,Horn Attack,Rock Smash,Earthquake

you need to have all your pokemon 55 or higher

Pichachu October 7th, 2004 4:05 PM

You'd probably be better off with Pikachu rather than Zapdos. You corrent moveset doesn't have even one electric-type damage attack.

Other than that, I beat them with levels 54+.

Simon October 7th, 2004 4:15 PM

Movesets don't matter when it's ingame battling. All you need is a good 10-20 level advantage and you've won.

shark3019875 October 7th, 2004 5:10 PM

well just keep training it and tip go to the island and battlew cause the pokemon arew like at 30 so that is cool and try not to use the ledgendary unless it is powerful tip use a rock type like onix or gravelar

!Dragonite! October 7th, 2004 5:34 PM

I think you just need to level up you pokmon..alot! They should all be at at least 55-60,unless you have like a lvl 95 one. Then some other can be a little lower. XD

T.W North October 7th, 2004 5:41 PM

Have your pokemon at EQUAL levels! That is the most important rule out there! Then if you have you pokemon at an equal level to your current highest, youll smash them without having to use many items. Except with Lorelie, you dont have any pokemon that can take her on, unless your Zapdos can defeat her pokemon in one hit.

!Dragonite! October 7th, 2004 5:59 PM

What? My mewtwo can take her out in 5 attacks.

Alex_ October 7th, 2004 6:06 PM

i would change the move set basically....get i would train some get them to lvl 50-65 ....shark3019875 why did u do a double post and why did you post the same thing? all you did was add () to tip .... :\

T.W North October 7th, 2004 7:39 PM

!Drangonit!, and what level is your Mewtwo? Deathdealer's Zapdos doesnt even know an electric attack, it would be flogged with one Ice Beam(which is super effective against all bird pokemon...except Moltros...and his whole team is made basically(not the basically) of bird pokemon...plus his Moltros would be flogged by surf). My point is made.

Desaparecidos October 7th, 2004 11:03 PM

i beat the elite 4 with a level 65 Charizard. all the other Pokemon in my party were at like 17 or 18.

all you have to do is bring lot's of revives and full restores. it's such an easy battle that way.

ITEMS ARE KEY! =D

Mr Cat Dog October 7th, 2004 11:11 PM

Well, if you want an easy life in terms of battling, then raise ALL of your Pokemon up to Level 70+ This may not be the best way for some people, so instead, just bring a load of items in, and fight with Venasaur and the birds if you have to... It'll be a lot harder though :/

T.W North October 8th, 2004 2:19 AM

It takes to long to raise up pkmn. I always defeat the elite 4 with pokemon 10 levels lower than theirs and things like that. As well as equal levels and items, it helps to go by type advantages. Youll smash your way through that way.

My mewtwo was at lvl 73 when he fought her the first time, but he pokemon were at lvl 66, so that isn't that much of a difference.

PikaPal October 8th, 2004 12:45 PM

Are the Elite four the same in Fire Red/ Leaf Gren?

!Dragonite! October 8th, 2004 12:51 PM

Yea, the E4 are the same in firered and in leaf green.

Magikarp October 8th, 2004 12:59 PM

Basically, you're screwed. Like someone said (I forgot who XD), you have no pokemon effective against 3 of the 4 Elite 4. And if you don't want to level up, then put yur pokemon in day care, if you have a SP, anyway, and find some way to have the up down, or over buttons pressed over night while your Sp is charging. Otherwise, you won't beat them. Guarenteed.

Stuffman October 11th, 2004 4:02 PM

keep trying and you will eventually get lots of exp at the cost of money....i would go for the exp cause u only reaally need it for pokeballs that are pretty cheap i must say
