Gimp advice
 
hai DC here well i was wondering if any of you really experienced people could help me a little with gimp. i would like to know how to make good banners and other graphics on it and this would also help other people who are not so good with gimp.
any help apreciated,

Hi there! I've been working with gimp for almost a year now, and I'd love to help. Here's a tutorial I made about the basics, though it's old, so I suggest you use paths for the lineart.

Is there anything particuarly you'd like to know? Filters are always a big help for image work. Overlaying layers are good too. Sharpening, gaussian blurring. There's so much you can do to improve Gimp work.
