We don't yet know what the special move is. The OP was just guessing, some people think it might be fly because on the picture one of the Pikachu's is wrapped in balloons and is floating. There has been no confirmation.

Hmm, maybe its Surf? Kind of a reference to the Pikablu?

Is that the event Pikachu that knew surf?
Anyway, I guess we'll just have to wait and see, I hope its something useful.

Amore September 5th, 2009 12:51 PM

Yeah, like Roar of Time or something :p

na, i bet it is Surf or Fly

Blazers September 5th, 2009 12:52 PM

It wouldn't be fly or surf.
What if you lose your Pokewalker?
So you'll never be able to learn the HM?
It's probably volt tackle

This is what is annoying me.
I could have sworn I read about something like this the other day.

I'm pretty sure its Volt Tackle, I just have nothing to back that up. >.<

Nuuu, you're not annoying me.
The whole deal with the HM is. The fact that my head exploded because I tried to backtrack where I read some information is getting to be annoying. :9

Blazers September 5th, 2009 1:27 PM

Yeah there's just no way that it would be an HM.
My pokewalker breaks, so I can never learn surf and beat the game?
I don't think so

yankee0724 September 5th, 2009 3:11 PM

or you can get a pikachu with surf in the pokewalker.

that wouldnt really affect you getting the hm to teach it to other pokemon..

i seriously doubt if it is fly or surf that itll be the only way for any pokemon to learn it in hg/ss.thatd just be fail.

Ok why is everyone saying that it wont be surf? Why do you guys assume its volt tackle, Pickachu can learn volt tackle via a *Special Way* according to Serebii.net so I dont think its that. I wouldnt doubt it if the did Fly or Surf because of the Pikablu mini game from yellow and because of the Flying Pikachu.

Also why are you saying it would be the only way for pokemon to learn it in HG/SS? You can get the HM's fly and surf from people you know?

People... the HM is actually Fly. And they aren't putting the HM Fly into the PokeWalker by itself, I wouldn't imagine. (That has implications, and the PokeWalker is an add-on, not a necessity to use).

Just look at the attachment there - it's advertising the Yellow forest itself, hence allt he Pikachu. See the red circle there? It's around a Pikachu with balloons - what previous Flying Pikachus looked like. Furthermore it's being confirmed even more now today thanks to Pokemon Sunday. (See that thread for a video once one is uploaded to the net).

So there you go. You get that course on the Pokewalker (apparently it's an event in Japan), catch a Pikachu, and it may know Fly (or they all know it). Simple.

There's your answer... and there's not much point for this discussion to continue, so closed.
