Don't You Just Hate It!

I Reaaly get annoyed when I am in the battle tower and cheryl is my partner, and she has got cressial. But how can she? I already have one!? Or is thier more of the same legendary pokemon? I though thier was only one of each.

Star★Seeker September 5th, 2009 7:23 PM

I don't know what a cressial is.
...
It's just supposed to go along with the theme of her Pokemon. Most of her Pokemon are healers, so it makes sense she'd have a Cresselia.

ShivaDF September 5th, 2009 7:36 PM

I'm not complaining. Cresselia is awesome. ^_^

Kirbychu September 5th, 2009 7:45 PM

I am pretty sure that there is more than one of most legendaries. Game Freak just intended for the player to only meet one of them, but there are still others elsewhere. Only very few (Like Mewtwo.) are completely unique. For instance, there definitely more than one of each member of the bird trio in the Pokemon world. They are found in Kanto and Sinnoh (And possibly Johto). It could be argued that the birds in Sinnoh are the same ones from Kanto, but that's assuming Red/Leaf didn't catch them then. In Latias' emerald dex entry it states that the species travels in herds.

Citrinin September 5th, 2009 7:46 PM

While legendaries are one-of-a-kind for the player, it's reasonably well established that they're not one-of-a-kind overall. Frontier trainers/brains having legendaries is nothing new.

Exactly.

And it doesn't bother me anyway xD

Air Pichu September 5th, 2009 8:09 PM

That doesn't really bother me, but I didn't know she had a Cresselia

thegeneticway September 5th, 2009 8:09 PM

I don't like Cheyrl that much. She killed my Absol with her pokemon by using earthquake -_-

Yuck.

And it doesn't mean you're the only one who have seen them.

Take the regis for example.

I don't think they're the same ones from Hoenn :o

mervyn797 September 5th, 2009 8:55 PM

u probably mean cressilia? well havent u seen selebi and the voice of forest, there were so many celebies, so why cant there be many cressilia too?
she might have traded them though....!!!!

Tudj September 5th, 2009 9:00 PM

Hmm they are legendary, and where did it say there can only be one of each, its just what a lot of people assumed.

joelogs September 5th, 2009 10:31 PM

well i'm not complaining on her having a cresselia, i rather complain on most of her pokemon are selfish. i mean the moves are just for itself and spam on using those without helping in the battle.

Exactly. That's why I find it weird that everyone calls Latias and Latios "legendaries" just because you can only catch one of them. Legendaries doesen't have a gender, for example.

Elite Overlord LeSabre™ September 6th, 2009 3:14 AM

I complain when others use legendaries *coughcoughPalmersSecondTeamcoughcough*

I suspect there may only be one of the legendary GSC gerbils, because supposedly Ho-oh raised them from the dead. Mewtwo is the same since it's the product of some horrifying yet intriguing experiments performed in a lab. And we all love our lab-created Pokemon XD

xJORDO94x September 6th, 2009 4:42 AM

I reckon Dialgia, Palkia and Girantina are unique because they are the amsters of time and space and girantina is in between but i think the birds, there are more than one, also celebi because of its movie.

Tofuu September 6th, 2009 5:19 AM

There could be more then one Cressilia xD. I don't see why not.

I think there is more then one Mew too. I could be wrong though! I just don't think the Mew in the eighth movie is not the same as the first.

nicopico14 September 6th, 2009 9:02 AM

nnnnnnnnnoooooo way

of cours

~*!*~Tatsujin Gosuto~*!*~ September 6th, 2009 9:13 AM

I don't have a problem with this, maybe she caught one when she was our age inside of the game

yeah she killed off some of my of my best pokemon

Destiny Bond September 22nd, 2009 9:12 PM

Why do you even care what she has? At least you have the cresselia thats all I would think.

GoingPokemonCrazy September 23rd, 2009 2:10 AM

Yeah I know, but what i though to be classified as legendary wouldnt thier be just 1 of a kind!?

Rengoku September 23rd, 2009 8:37 AM

A legendary don't have to be unique.
Entei's Pokedex entry says that each time a volcano erupts, a new Entei is born.
Latias' travel in herd.
There are a lot of Mews too.
You can create more Giratinas, Palkias, and Dialgas as long as Arceus exists - Like how you can create more in HGSS, perhaps Arceus create more, or most probably clone itself into more Arceuses too.

560cool. September 23rd, 2009 9:51 AM

Yeah...
I think that in the RS Remakes they'll put in Cresselia !
Nintendo really gone mad about legends !

OFF TOPIC : 200th POST !!!

Amore September 23rd, 2009 1:01 PM

I reckon its non-unique, like the latis, phione, manaphy and Shaymin (god, theres tons in the anime)

professor plum September 23rd, 2009 1:48 PM

Tragic, but I don't see why you needed to make a thread merely to complain.
Multiple Pokemon exist. :[
