I love Australian and American accents.
I have a friend that came from American and his voice is really funny, or was it just him. xD |

Korean people trying to speak English sounds like they're losing their breath ;_;
|
British accent. <3 I rarely hear it IRL, but it sounds so elegant and fanceh.
|
British accent is win. It's just awesome, doesn't need to be posh or anything, even the normal slang sounds great.
|
I really like the Australian accent... and the British accent, though sometimes it's annoying.
|
Depends which British accent. The accent on the people from Leeds and around there, that accent rocks!
|
British because I am.
Although it's annoying sometimes. |
I appreciate all accents. It shows the different ways a group of people and a culture can develop. Here are all of these people speaking the same words but in so many different ways. I love the Northeast USA accent for the "aw" sound and such. The Boston accent is cool too. Southern accents are incredible because it's like a bunch of different accents all grouped together. The Canadian is so close to the American at first, but then you realize how different they really are. The South American spanish accent is so much different than the Carribbean which is completely different from the Spain one. Then there's the European languages (and the Asian) which incorporate their respective language dialect into their English speaking. I also love how similar British and Australian accents seem at first (by the general population), but when listening closely you can tell them apart in a blink of the eye.
So I don't really have a favorite. I'm just more fascinated in the way they sound in general. <3 |
My favorite accent would have to be the American accent.

British and Italian.
British because after watching Harry Potter a million times you have to love it. It just sounds so cool especially Dan Radcliffe's voice, and when your cousin picks up a flawless accent you are pretty much forced to either tolerate or go along with it. As for Italian, I'm not too sure as to why. It just sounds really really cool to me - it sounds so rich and deep. Must be my Italian genes coming out. |
The British accent most people are familiar with is the 'posh' one- not everyone here speaks with it, even if you're from the south where it's supposedly a lot more prominent. o:
I like most U.S./Canadian accents myself. ^_^ |
I like British, mostly because their English is different from what I'm used to hearing. They're vocabulary uses different kinds of words and slang. Stuff like that I find interesting. I like all accents though, since they each have their own unique sound.

Japanese and British. When I read katakana, I'm amazed how they warp english words to Japanese [email protected][email protected]
|
I like American accents :pink_giggle:
British accents are really cool, too. And Japanese, when they're really strong. |
Asians speaking english is just rofl in my opinion. :3

Scottish and Irish are close seconds, but Australian takes the cake for me.
|
I like my accent the best (upper Midwest), since we supposedly can pronounce the largest share of words in the English language correctly due to our accent. Which is pretty awesome, and that's the they try to train most American newscasters to adapt.
|
I love the Scottish Accent.

I love all accents really; I'm a bit of a freak about them. My personal favourites are American, Australian, Irish and English - although, to clarify, not how I sound. The way each says words differently is just awesome. :> |
I find myself growing to love any accent I hear as long as it's not too thick and the person behind it isn't speaking broken english. (broken english tends to annoy me)
|
Oh, the German accent is my favourite by far. Closely followed by the Russian accent, the Scottish accent, the Austrailan accent and American accents.
|
I have a British accent (Hull accent) which i think is great, i like the London accent as well, i also like the american accent (i can almost put on an american accent lol), i also think the australian and german accents are great

Win. I can do a British accent if I hear it first. I can copy a lot of accents by hearing a couple sentences spoken in them. It's pretty easy once you practice. |
