MSDN access, woot?
So I now have free access to the MSDN due to some MS program (it's only available to people taking computing courses in associated universities). In other words, I get free Windows software and OSes, including XP, Vista, and 7. Supposedly there's stuff in there that I need to order or pay for, but I checked and haven't found anything that isn't a free download. Here's what seems to be the complete list of stuff.

I have access to this as well.
It is all students I think. I have downloaded a few of these programs. |
I think your university may have paid a lease on the products to Microsoft, which allows you to use the products?

The university pays for the MSDN academic subscription, so if I was paying to be here, I would be paying for a portion in tuition. But I'm here entirely on scholarship, which means I'm getting access to probably a few thousand dollars worth of software for free.

I have a MSDN subscription too. Running Windows 7 right now. :D
