[Possible SPOILERS] The 'I Like' Thread

Basically, I think we need a thread that does the opposite to the complaints thread. Instead of all this negative feedback, how about we get some positive feedback?
What do you like about the game? Do you enjoy the little quirks that everyone else hates? Do you enjoy the nostalgia of it all? Did you like the kanto gyms? Do you love the whole new 3D aspect to it?

But please, no flaming, and don't feed the trolls.

Personally, I love how everything is rendered in 3D now. It gives me that whole 'Pokemon World' theme. :)

W00t first post.

I think I like the idea of Johto being in 3D. After playing Crystal, I'd say that this game would be excellent.

Patience is a virture.

Can't wait until the game comes out in Oz!

Favourite things about HG/SS

How pokemon can follow you around and the fact that it is the remake of the best generation. :)

.little monster September 26th, 2009 12:49 PM

Easy.

Pokemon following you. I just love that. <3

Logiedan September 26th, 2009 12:57 PM

Alot of things, mostly the new features. My favourite thing about HG/SS is to navigate through options and menus using the touch screen,WAYYY EASIER MY FRIENDS.

Masterge77 September 26th, 2009 1:02 PM

Thay added more things to do in Kanto, in the originals, it was nothing but a nuclear wasteland of nothingness and boredom, also the pokemon following you......

~Red September 26th, 2009 1:03 PM

Pokemon Following you, the revised score (complete with new music that didn't make it to the original game or was needed to fill space)

Sasuke. September 26th, 2009 3:34 PM

Johto. <333
Best region. Ever.

~*!*~Tatsujin Gosuto~*!*~ September 26th, 2009 5:41 PM

being able to travel to both Kanto and johto as well as having my favorite Pokemon (Banette, Giratina and Drifblim) following me

The level range and experience gain, The E4 the first time is easy Considering there only around 50s highest, (Going by what Serebii said) By the time I fought the 6th gym, And her steelix was level 35, And my team only being level 30, I thought I was very under leveled, But then when I fought Pyrce and Claire, I beat them with easy, Once I train my extremespeed dratini up to the team level, I'm off to victory road, To see the E4 levels. :]

Satoshi Ookami September 26th, 2009 10:39 PM

Following Pokemon is really the best thing :)
But for me it's also Tiles (which are smashing!) and gym indoors.

Rainflower September 26th, 2009 10:41 PM

walking pokemon, pokegears, and most definitely, rematch and the gym leaders. <3

Tudj September 26th, 2009 11:38 PM

I just like the fact of being able to be back in Johto. Also I like the new pokemon sprites and the new building tiles. Also pokemon following you is pretty good aswell.

Pave Low September 26th, 2009 11:40 PM

I will love Pokemon following you around... I've seen a screenshot where Arceus is trailing someone, XD

Taemin September 27th, 2009 12:02 AM

I have to pick just one thing?! ; ;

Probably.. the Pokemon following you, and the fact that you choose which one, rather than just being stuck with the starter. xD; Thats pretty awesome, in my opinion.

Tochukaso September 27th, 2009 1:24 AM

the sprites are what made it better for me. (show the spoiler if you want to see sprites)

Pokemon following
Graphics in general
Total nostalgia in a new edgy package.

sudden_hit September 27th, 2009 2:07 AM

The "meeting the old faces" for nostalgia purposes, and the revamped graphics for sure.

Allen K. September 27th, 2009 2:53 AM

Touch screen use, way faster/easier... Can play with one hand now ;D

mikey September 27th, 2009 6:12 AM

The pokemon following you is awesome.
The updated graphics.
And returning to Johto =D

Soul Silver September 27th, 2009 6:57 AM

LUGIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apart from that its gotta be the nostalgia trip of reliving my favourite pokemon moments from my youth... plus Cyndaquil & Totodile

yvette September 27th, 2009 7:02 AM

The fact that you don't have to activate Mystery Gift. w00t. Pokemon following you (I changed the settings, whew), the fact that you can switch the 'run' option for your sneakers forever and you don't have to abuse the B button, the music, the graphics, the characters, the Johto region.

blue September 27th, 2009 7:32 AM

Either You're Pokemon Following you or going to Johto & Kanto

Rant:
Spoiler:
Red WOULD HAVE BEEN my favourite thing, but they ruined his Snorlax moveset, which is basically defeating the whole purpose of Red. I'm not even going to fight Red now.

Rants aside, my favourite thing is the cool way of rematching Gym Leaders, you have to find them at certain times of day in different parts of the region, so I'll have fun tracking all of them down =)

It's probably in your best interest to fight Red at least once, seeing as beating him unlocks quite a few things.

Speaking of which, Red is one of my three favorite things about HG/SS. He's not only the toughest trainer in the game level-wise, but the moves for each of his Pokemon are quite diverse and incredibly powerful. Not to mention his Pikachu has that Light Ball. This was easily the toughest ingame battle I've ever fought. Even tougher than a fair number of Wi-Fi battles I've had.

Second is the new and improved Kanto. Not only is there a fair bit more to do in it than in G/S/C, but the 3D routes and cities look incredible.

Third is Pokemon following you, for obvious reasons.
