[Current Netbattle Team]

Battledome started messing up so Bob stopped hosting. Everyone from there and Tafop have moved to Blue Heaven which sucked up all the traffic. I had to make a non-00ber team in order to enter, so I just used Pokemon I like and know are good. The team itself has gone undefeated, all but one battle with a strange Linoone O.o!

Ninjask (F) @ Liechi Berry ** Supa Sonic
Trait: Speed Boost
EVs: 8 HP / 250 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Aerial Ace
- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
Even though Ninjask is pretty fast already, I gave it a jolly personality just so I could KO and opposing Ninjask and keep subing through stuff like Swift Swimmers and high speed Reversalers.

Metagross @ Lum Berry ** Sentinal
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 76 HP / 250 Atk / 92 Def / 92 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Agility
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Hidden Power [Rock]
Use this to attack Dactyl and explode on annoyers like Wheezing, Miltank and Blissey. I also gets rid of Linoone and Arcanine which could screw up my Ninjask.

Armaldo (F) @ Lum Berry ** Rock Man
Trait: Battle Armor
EVs: 216 HP / 184 Atk / 82 Def / 28 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Rock Blast
- Swords Dance
The main attacker on my team, once Ninjask has +4 Speed I pass to her and Sword Dance or attack. Its a great 00ber sweeper and knocks out almost anything that it faces with +2 Attack alone.

Flygon (M) @ Liechi Berry ** Damsil Fly
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Rock]
- Quick Attack
- Substitute
Kinda standard, great for attacking CounterBliss after I Sub and takes out Metagross, Steelix and anything that uses Flail/Reversal.

Jolteon (M) @ Petaya Berry ** Boltstryke
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 6 Atk / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Quick Attack
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
Gave is Quick Attack as back up, just incase Flygon has fainted. The rest is all pretty much standard.

Houndoom (F) @ Salac Berry ** Cerberus
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 255 Spd / 255 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Crunch
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Will-O-Wisp
Great for roasting up a big chunk of Skarmory or Metagross, WoW is there for stuff like Heracross and anything that might become annoying. If I'm lucky I can use it to take out Salamence if the opponent is dumb enough to D-Dance first or has non speed Ev's.

well not much to say...

-shift 4 points of hp to attack for Ninjask

-for metagross I'll rather shift some attack into defense/hp so you got more stuff to survive Aerodactyl's earthquake, especially if you're against a banded one. Really Meta's attack is high enough.

-for Armaldo, try taking out all speed and dump them on def or atk...

-Flygon: now this one I'll say use rock slide as accuracy is not a life or death matter like for metagross's case... I'll go with rock slide, and flinch is nice....

-Jolteon: a bit paranoid on quick attack...? Sub or wish over qa.

Houndoom: with or without WoW, heracross will still blast you apart. Put pursuit over WoW, or if you insist on keeping WoW, pursuit over crunch. (pursuit is so neat that it's a must use! Try it out!)

Ninjask - Not much different from the standard set, I see. Replace Aerial Ace with HP Rock if you really want to lay the smackdown on other Ninjask, which you can do right off the bat. Fake people into thinking you have Bandjask.

Metagross - I hate using Agility on Metagross personally, especially if you got Ninjask (even without it, I'd still not use Agilitygross). Drop HP Rock for HP Steel, and lose Agility for Psychic for anti-Weezing purposes.

Armaldo - It works, but I'm sure there's better things you can do with Armaldo. I'll think of them soon.

Flygon - You got enough Rock attacks on the team, lose HP Rock for HP Fighting, you need something to take down those part-Ice types which will Ice Beam you down. Fighting works better for those Normal types you're so afraid of.

Jolteon - OMG it's a Jolteon without Substitute! Just kidding... ok I guess, but I'd rather replace QA with something. I'll think of what soon, looking at Wish as a possibility

Houndoom - Very vunerable Houndoom set here. WoW isn't going to help Houndoom at all since he hasn't got the Defence to survive.

[email protected]/Petaya Berry
EV: Speed, Sp Att, Sp Def
Pursuit
Flamethrower/Fire Blast
HP Ice
Sunny Day

Fake them out into thinking you have a Sunnybeamer, and Pursuit when they change. STAB Pursuit pseudohazing fun :-)

Meh, you still have a lot of vunerabilities, but I think I've worked out some of them

Frostweaver October 11th, 2004 12:39 PM

um... Toothy... no one even knows of Bandjask... I didn't find anyone else using one but me >>;

Spike Razzor October 11th, 2004 12:39 PM

That number for Ninjask wouldn't work.... It equal 264... And the speed for Armaldo = 396 with +4, any lower and Dactyl could 2HKO me cause it Rockslides/AP on switch. Everythign else seems good, I'll try it out since I'm on now.

Tooth Rock or Fight > Ice, and having fight would be kind pointless, even if Lax comes out with x2 it about 140, Quake + STAB would 150. Houndoom sounds cool though O.O!

Might want to change Houndoom's berry to Lum if you're paranoid about Toxic, but it's a nice idea that'll probably work (I haven't tested it personally).

Toxic eats Meta's back side... If it has one O.o...

It could very well have 4 backsides, since a Metagross is 4 Beldum fused together in essence... who knows, it's just one of the many mysteries of Pokemon...

Although I'd hate to watch the episode where Ash and co find that out....

I always wondered how you manage to evolve Metagross, Magneton, Dugtrio in the game and still get them to fit into one pokeball >_<
