Shiny Cyndaquil!!!!

Well ive been trying to get a shiny cyndaquil and i would like to know any hints or that when it follows you will it be shiny????

Thank you

Ps What is soft reset (im also using no$gba) (mods if its illegal ill delete that plz don't lock it)

When you're selecting a starter the top screen shows the sprites so you will know if shiny or not. If not SR and repeat till found.

This isn't really deserving of it's own topic and could have gone in the topic about Questions and Answers or the Shinies Found topic below somewhere.

As for getting it, the trick is to soft reset and check the pokeballs to see if you've got a shiny. If not, soft reset and check again. Repeat this process until you finally find your desired Shiny Starter.

Getting a shiny Cyndaquil is merely a matter of luck, and patience if you're gonna soft reset till you find one. And yeah, when following you Pokémon retain their shininess.

This is the wrong place for this type of thread..

Sweet Smoochum September 19th, 2009 2:24 PM

Basically, like the others have said, keep trying. When I read the title, I was hoping you had one, and I was about to say "Congratulations! You're so lucky!"

I remember in my Silver version, I had a shiny Cyndaquil. (My brother did a new game, though. >.<)

Let us know when you get one. =D (If this thread closes, mention it in your sig. No need to make a new thread. ^_^)

Answered, so going to close. All you really need for this is patience and some time on your hands - shiny Pokemon are rare but if you don't mind about what Starter is shiny in HG/SS you can tell if a Pokemon is shiny before selecting it, unlike other games.

Try the Questions and Answers thread next time you have a question. =)
