Team I Am A Terrible User (OU RMT)

_____________________________________________________________________________________________
At a glance:
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
Introduction:
Hey guys, this is my first RMT, because it has become my most successful team. 32 matches, 25 wins, and 7 losses. So, I decided to improve my team even more by making it into an RMT.

In depth:
http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/infernape.png
Infernape @ Focus Sash
Nature: Hasty
Ability: Blaze
EV's: 64atk, 194speed, 252sp.atk
Moveset:
~ Close Combat
~ Fake Out
~ Stealth Rock
~ Fire Blast
Comments: LeadApe! I always use an Ape on my teams, but never as a lead, so I tried doing that. And guess what? It's been very successful! Fake Out on the first turn, followed by a Stealth Rock, and then I usually switch to preserve it for later.

http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/gyarados.png
Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Docile Jolly
EV's: 252atk, 4def, 252speed.
Moveset:
~ Dragon Dance
~ Waterfall
~ Earthquake
~ Stone Edge
Comments: I'm actually tired of sweeping teams with this thing. I wait for my opponent to switch out anything which has a weakness to Gyarados, and expecting a switch, I use Dragon Dance. And, SWEEP! Waterfall for some reliable STAB, Earthquake for Jolteon, Electivire, Metagross and other Electrics, and Stone Edge for fellow Gyarados's, Mence's, and Zapdos's.
http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/machamp.png
Machamp @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
Nature: Adamant
EV's: 252hp, 128atk, 128speed
Moveset:
~ Dynamicpunch
~ Bulk Up
~ Ice Punch
~ Payback
Comments: It was initially a Breloom, but since it made me far too Fire-weak, I decided to switch it to Machamp :D. Dynamicpunch for STAB, and a 100% chance of confusing, Bulk Up for a good increase in Attack and Defence, Ice Punch for Mence, Flygon, Gliscor etc. and Payback for Azelf and Starmie who think they can OHKO, and also for Rotom Appliances and Gengar, who're VERY VERY common.

http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/rotomcut.png
Rotom-c @ Leftovers (seems a leftovers team, isn't it? :D)
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Bold
EV's: 252hp, 168def, 88speed
Moveset:
~ Discharge
~ Will-o-Wisp
~ Shadow Ball
~ Pain Split
Comments: This electric lawnmover is more useful than thought. Discharge > Thunderbolt for more paralyze chance. WoW for burning foes, Shadow Ball for a nice STAB and Pain Split helps with his mediocre HP.

http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/lucario.png
Lucario @ Life Orb (no more leftovers now :D)
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Adamant
EV's: 252hp, 4def, 252speed
Moveset:
~ Close Combat
~ Swords Dance
~ Extremespeed
~ Crunch
Comments: SDLuke is a beast. SD first up, then SWEEP! Extremespeed takes care of most of the pokemon, Close Combat for Bliss and co., and Crunch for Ghosts. This thing is a real beast.

http://www.arkeis.com/images/pokemonfactory/scizor.png
Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
Nature: Adamant
EV's: 248hp, 252atk
Moveset:
~ Bullet Punch
~ U-Turn
~ Superpower
~ Pursuit
Comments: The god of Revenge Killing, SCIZOR! Bullet Punch + Priority x Choice Band x STAB x Technician = Pwnage! Needs no more explantion, I think :D.

I hope you like my team!
edit: the crap name was given by Dark Azelf :P

252 hp / 168 Def / 88 speed
Bold Nature
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp
- Shadow Ball
- Discharge / Thunderbolt

I question the speed evs though because Scizor cant do anything to you anyway lol. I prefer the spread 252 HP / 176 DEF / 80 SP.DEF, but W/E.

Anyways, Leaf Storm isnt needed, Tar takes lol damage and can be burned anyway and Swampert gets worn down by Shadow Ball + burn too.

zsdf fgdcf vf gh hj, fhdgfhdhdhtjhjnjhm; xdcfrgtyb hhbn !!!! so yeah ^^

Got Pain Split instead of Leaf Storm and Bold nature on the Rotom. :D

natedogg November 10th, 2009 7:09 AM

I see that your team is lacking a good Sp. attacker. Maybe going with a specs luke could help solve that.

Lucario @ Specs
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid
- Aura Sphere
- Shadow Ball
- Hp Ice
- Vaccum Wave

Just a thought =)

Fire Wolf November 10th, 2009 7:14 AM

Thanks for the suggestion, but I find SDLuke better :)
Edit: 200th post! :D

Chaostorm November 10th, 2009 7:19 AM

You can also give Quick Attack > Pursuit to Scizor if you wanna revenge kill low Health Gyarados or Kingdra.

EDIT: taking natedogg's note, without a special attacker your whole team can be crippled by Will-o-whispers = = ....

Fire Wolf November 10th, 2009 7:21 AM

Nah, Pursuit is better. And, I'll see that I can get a special sweeper here :D

may I suggest ScarfTran? it can hit enough hard and can take on Will-O-whispers and activate its Flash Fire. it can work well when combined with scizor's x4 fire weakness.

Fire Wolf November 10th, 2009 7:29 AM

Who do I replace with ScarfTran? There's no weaklink in my team :D

Chaostorm November 10th, 2009 7:35 AM

with Machamp, because Machamp with this set is still crippled by Will-O-Whisp and its Payback wont hit the Appliances hard when it is burned, since you already got bunch of Physical attackers, ScarfTran should fit in Machamp's place.

since Lucario and Scizor are weak to fire, you can use these as baits to activate Tran's Flash Fire and start off firing its deadly Fire Blast.

Fire Wolf November 10th, 2009 7:38 AM

Ok, thanks, I'll try out Scarftran now.

Dark Azelf November 10th, 2009 7:44 AM

scarf tran sucks in this metagame lol.

Cant you just use Guts on Machamp if status is that much of an issue. :/

No Special attacker is no fun lol. and Skarm could even wall and blow Gyara, Luke, Champ.

Machamp does 2HKO Skarmory with a +1 DynamicPunch however.

Ontop November 10th, 2009 8:31 AM

Gg(we just fighted on Shoddy). My Gyara seemed to sweep your whole team. You might wanna cover that? Sure you already have Rotom-c but once that was down it was pretty much just, SWEEP.
Gl with upcoming battles ^^

But he has Rotom that and Skarm cant wall those physical threats he has well at all.

But yeah if Rotom dies (which isnt hard since you rely on it alot and it does get worn down) Gyarados rips you a new one so id definatey look into Quick Attack on Scizor.

Thanks for ruining the party woof

well it can 2HKO but Skarm will blow its boost.

DynamicPunch causes confusion, Skarm will be hard pressed even doing anything lol

not only Skarm though, theres Zone ( trapping both Lucario and Scizor and kills Gyarados before DD if it is Scarfed ) and Zong.

I agree with that, but if what if he chose Guts ? he wont let DynamicPunch in its moveset due to its pathetic 50 accuracy.

Fire Wolf November 10th, 2009 8:53 AM

I won't switch to Guts as it would ruin my 100% Dynamicpunch accuracy. And I'm looking at Thunderbolt for Rotom, since Discharge's power is ... eww... Discharge can't even OHKO Gyara.. and Gyara's Stone Edge is powerful against other Gyara's.

What is the move Scizor uses most and spams ? U-TURN ! A smart Scizor player wont lose to Zone.

Scarf Zone cant OHKO Lucario.

Why would you keep Gyara in on a scarf Zone ?

There isnt a Zong on this team.

Can we cut the theorymon, thanks.

Sometimes i wonder about this forum....:/

Are you serious ? It destroys Gyarados, that is pretty dumb, have you haven done calcs/tested this ? Discharge is superior as it stops heatran from switching in readily.

Hint : The idea is to switch to Cross Chop when using guts. :/

you can use Thunderbolt but you wont have the high chance of Paralyzing, though Thunderbolt is still a good option.

lets cut the theorymon yeah >.>, It was dumb starting it .....

Fire Wolf November 10th, 2009 8:59 AM

instead of paralyzing, Rotom can use WoW to burn, and burn is better than paralyze.. just Heatran :P Beat Ontop on my second try, his Gyarados was confused thanks to DynamicPunch, and Lucario then Extremespeeded it to death :D

Dark Azelf November 10th, 2009 9:03 AM

246 Atk vs 236 Def & 331 HP (80 Base Power): 364 - 432 (109.97% - 130.51%)

Discharge does 109% min to Gyarados btw...lol

Fire Wolf November 10th, 2009 9:05 AM

well, it didn't OHKO when i tried it the first time, anyways i'm keeping Discharge there, and ScarfTran failed horribly...
