Moskau's Pixel Art Thread

Creative title, no? I thought I would display some of my pixel artwork. Everything I do in MSPaint, with the exception of anything I draw on paper, scan into Photoshop, trace with a mouse, then import into MSPaint.

Here are some of my finished stuff (older...I don't have any newer works, haven't pixeled in a few months, I'm afraid!)

Pixel Self Portrait

Another self portrait, this one is more recent.

Here are some WIPs:

Gift for a friend of mine! She's a Hufflepuff, I'm a Slytherin! Hehe.

Don't know if I'll finish this...I really dislike doing hair...

And below are a few that...maybe some people might find offensive? I don't know? They pertain to Nazis. (DISCLAIMER: I'm not a nazi, national socialist, or neo-nazi in any way! These are simply pixel portrayals of an antagonist character from one of my stories.)

And, of course, C+C is always allowed! Thank you!!

Loving this style of yours.. Makes good use of dithering for the effects. But best of all are the proportions, absolutely stunning.

The Inglorious basterts themed one is my fav.

For crit (rules), they look flat. They all need some more depth, and smoother lines; it would be a good idea to get rid of most flat-looking dithered areas, as well as the ones that stand out most. Also, a better contrasted pallete would do wonders to this.

Simply amazing. It's rare that large pixel works are done so well and with such great effects you excel greatly at this. Although the shading could be better, alot of the white and gray shading doesn't have enough of a difference from the base color and I found myself having to look very closely to on some of them to even see all of the shading colors.

Very impressive--I love your dithering. I think, on the self-portrait with leggings, the leggings don't have a really clear light source. The way the denim skirt is wrinkled, along with the pose, makes me think it may need to be scrunching up a bit at the hem.

I think the Hogwarts students' outlines would look better with a bit more anti-aliasing.

I love your zombie Nazi. It makes me think of my zombie Soviets. XD

Thank you, and nope. I do everything myself. :) I don't use bases.
