You show some really good potential here. Some good shots, some random ones, but mostly I liked what you provided.

This being one of my favourites along with

You have an eye for scenes, and your camera is really good quality. Keep it up.

The word "professional" comes to mind. :o
You've got something going here Patrick.
Keep up the good work. ;D

The lighting, focus and attention given to the objects is just ummm~<3.

My favorites would have to be the Bird of paradise, and the Eiffel tower.

.Aero November 29th, 2009 3:41 PM

:3 You're amazing at photography there, although in some pictures I can see that the rule of thirds wasn't being followed and it makes the image seem way to centered. If that's what you were going for though, that's fine, just wanted to provide some healthy criticism though. ^^

I hope to see more in the future. :D

I really appreciate the criticism, as I'd actually never heard of the rule of thirds before xD;; I'd seen the option on one of my cameras, but never really paid full attention to it..

Thanks Aero ^-^

Wow, that is amazing Patrick. You really have a good eye for scenery! What kind of camera do you use, its great. These are just really good, and I really cant believe you are so young and taking such good pictures. I think you are the only one at your age that doesn't take pictures of themselves 24/7, but takes pictures of the beautiful world we have around us 24/7. <333
Trust me when I say this, if you ever wanted to become a professional photographer, 1. You are going to be the photographer for my wedding XD and 2. National Geographic would be proud to have a photographer like you on their team. ;]

Thank you so much Ryan <3

Well, I use my moms Sony Alpha 350 which is pretty nice and it's not too big to carry around and all..

Just would like to thank everybody again, and oh look!

Who knew that a simple picture of a pink sandal could be so interesting?

Amazing new photos Pat, as always, keep up the great work <3

Samme! December 2nd, 2009 7:13 PM

Thank you so much Ryan love <3

The funny thing is, I seem to have a knack for finding lone, pink shoes. This happened to me in New York CIty before when I saw this pink crock on a wall in central park. But of course, I didn't have my camera with me ;A;

Hopefully I will be able to update again this weekend. ^^

omigosh they're amazing.
i love the umbrellas on the beach and the flower ones ^_^

.Aero December 3rd, 2009 7:09 PM

This one is so beautiful. ;o; Where were you at when you took it?

(And Rule of Thirds is basically centering photos. Imagine each photo you take as if it were divided into 9 pieces. The where each intersection meets is where the focus should be. It doesn't always have to be there as some pictures look better centered or even off tot he side more, but it's a good rule of thumb. :3)

Areas circled in red are where you want the focus to be. :3 It's all a suggestion, so you don't have to listen to me if you don't wanna. ;D You're great anyway. ^^

This one is easily your best in terms of composition and is the most appealing to me.

You've got some nice shots, I think you should just take more time setting the shot to get the best positioning in the shot. Some of them just don't capture the essence or aren't as pleasing to look at as they could be.
An example:
http://i962.photobucket.com/albums/ae108/Samme426/Photography/DSC03069.jpg
This one, if you positioned the camera just a fraction higher, you would've got the entire Eiffel Tower and not cut off the very top of it.
Little things like that, otherwise nice stuff.

Oo Thanks for the explanation Aero C:

And that picture was taken on a path in Cinque Terra, which is a series of five hill towns connected by paths that overlook the Mediterranean <3
