Well sorry for not knowing people's real names.

Hai rapmaster, that's an in-joke, you won't get it.

Unless you know the in-joke, then you will. n_n

-Jared- September 27th, 2010 6:24 PM

Too bad I don't get this one...>__>

One doesn't need to get this in-joke to understand my mastery of this form of speech you people call "rap", hence my totally not-cheesy and completely manly nickname Rapmaster.

All hail the Rapmaster, and his studly awesomeness.

donavannj September 27th, 2010 6:40 PM

I can rap better than you.

Allow me to quote KrisKross, the early '90s teen rap duo:

Somebody tryin' to rhyme but they can't rhyme like dis
Somebody tryin' to rhyme but they can't rhyme like dis

I'd go on but I feel lazy.

I personally think it's a lot better. Keep in mind that the CD this was originally released on was from 1992. OLD, OLD, OLD SKOOL BEATZ. Back when rap had a lot more words and a lot less moaning in its lyrics.

Guillermo September 27th, 2010 8:41 PM

Soulja Boy sucks at singing, but he can dance. :D

He's got nuthin' on these old skool moves. (b'-')b

Logiedan September 27th, 2010 11:10 PM

I don't think Soulja Boy can even dance. He just makes up ridiculous moves, makes a music video out of them and calls it 'dancing.'

I think for the next PokeCommunity Get-Together, you and I should set up a DANCE-OFF.

A Pixy September 28th, 2010 3:48 AM

All I want for Get-Together '11, is a game of mad libs.

A huge game of mad libs.

Actually, I meant to say that Soulja Boy sucks, and may singlehandedly end rap as we know it. Obviously, I'm exaggerating, but you get what I mean. I don't know what's happened to the state of rap. It now carries a negative connotation, but that didn't used to be the case.

Rap used to be about being the king. It was about knowing your place, but being confident at the same time. It was about having flava, having style, and having soul. A lot of it was about peace. There was songs that involved callouts to rappers from other districts, some of it negative, but nowhere close to how it is currently. Now, it's about getting your pimp on, smacking that hoe, rolling in cadillacs and bling bling and whatnot.

I'm very old school, if you haven't realized. Eric B and Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, A Tribe Called Quest, ish like that. If you like rap, check them out.

EDIT: Where is that link you posted of dance, by the way? I'm on a restricted network, so it's completely invisible.

I think I'm decent at dancing. Locking, to be exact. I have been doing it on-and-off for a couple of years. It's great =D
