[YGO] Starbust Charge
World King here, back with another one of my YGO decks: this time, it's my "Starbust Charge" deck, whose main purpose is summoning Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode as quick as possible, so this deck is quite good at Synchro Summoning. Here's the list: Monsters: 17 Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode x2 Assault Beast x3 Assault Mercenary x2 Flamvell Magician x2 Hyper Synchron Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind Dark Resonator Counselor Lily The Tricky Cyber Dragon Summoner Monk Gorz the Emissary of Darkness Spells: 14 Instant Fusion x3 Assault Teleport Brain Control Mind Control Enemy Controller Mystical Space Typhoon Heavy Storm Lightning Vortex Smashing Ground Pot of Avarice Scapegoat Magical Mallet Traps: 11 Assault Mode Activate x3 Dark Bribe x2 Threatening Roar x2 Mirror Force Torrential Tribute Call of the Haunted Widespread Ruin Extra Deck: 15 Stardust Dragon x3 Colossal Fighter Thought Ruler Archfiend X-Saber Urbellum Black Rose Dragon Goyo Guardian Brioniac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier Reaper on the Nightmare x3 Karbonala Warrior x2 Dragoness the Wicked Knight I wanted to keep it to a 40-card minimum, but I've won quite a few duels with this, against Monarchs, GBs, etc... so meh. Fusions are included for Instant Fusion, obviously... Still, I'm open for suggestions. Anyone? |
just nitpicking but you posted assault beast twice.
night wing sorceress is definitely needed if your running assault mode activate. why have widespread ruin when you can run mirror force (if you can afford it that is or online play) im not too sure about hyper synchron, as it removes from play stardust at the end phase, but i suppose that's what assault mode activate is for. flamvell magician can be replaced for either mist valley soldier or rose, warrior of revenge for 4* tuners, for having better stats and effects. I'd definitely cut down on traps though. and seeing as you only have 2 assault modes, i think getting activate down to 2 as well. damn, i can see it getting cut down to 10 really. for me personally, even cutting out a few staple traps to make the deck run better would be beneficial |

If you really paid enough attention, I have both Mirror Force AND Widespread Ruin. I only run 1 Hyper Synchron when I need it, in case my opponent runs a higher-ATK monster. Also Flamvell MAgicians are used better, since they're immune to Bottomless Trap Hole, which could severely screw me. With 3 Assault Mode Activate, I have a better chance of using Assault Mercenary's effect. Dark Bribe makes sure my ASA isn't Solemn'd, or something worse. |
There are better SD/AS builds. Instant fusion isn't a good engine in general.
