Miz en Scène January 31st, 2010 2:27 AM

Oh god, I'm cutting it really close, but

Can you enter me in the contest? As in enter me, I don't have the Profile Designer Emblem.
According to my timezone, it's now 5.23, 31st January EST, so there's still time. kthx. XD

Fairy Tail January 31st, 2010 9:17 AM

Aaaaaaand list updated. Probably for the last time, but Idk. If anyone else joins and I'm too slow to update the list keep in mind that they're there too.

Also, a reminder that entering ends at 00:00 February 1st EST (you've still got 11.75 hours according to my laptop's clock, so yeah).

Salvation January 31st, 2010 9:26 AM

Lucy January 31st, 2010 10:31 AM

Yeah, you're definitely good~

I'll update -again- once I log back onto Fairy Tail.

Not necessarily, but a good looking profile picture does wonders to make a profile look more attractive, particularly supporters.

Anyhoo, since no one else's probably going to enter in the next two hours, I wish everyone luck once again, and I look forward to receiving the votes. There are quite a number of good ones this time, so I'll just stay out of the voting myself. |Dx

jigglyppuff8 January 31st, 2010 6:51 PM

Does it really? We have the same size as the rest of you guys.

Jordan January 31st, 2010 6:52 PM

I could have sworn Supporters get a bigger profile picture, but I guess it's just Staff then. :/ Scratch that.

Alright, jpp8 sent me his votes, so I guess I will be accepting them now.

alisaie January 31st, 2010 7:48 PM

I think the higherup tiers can have a bigger profile picture. I can't have one bigger than 130x130, but Nica's definitely looks bigger than 130x130. XD;

-goes to send in her votes now-

Ho-Oh January 31st, 2010 7:52 PM

"Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 240 by 180 pixels or 640.0 KB (whichever is smaller). "

Whoo.

Aaaand. Working out who I'm voting for now. XD;

There we go, because I could have sworn I saw profile pics larger than 130x130 for non-staff. Yay votes~

alisaie January 31st, 2010 7:57 PM

XD Lucky you, Nica. I still have the '130x130' rule. -tried uploading something 150x150. Didn't work out as it shrunk to 130x130.

-trying not to look like she's voting for her friends, orz. ;~;-

Ho-Oh January 31st, 2010 8:07 PM

..kay, I have a question.

If I were to change my display usergroup (from supporter to member, like, so I appear as a member -- while still being a supporter) for the rest of the voting period, is that allowed? XD;

I don't think it's disallowed, but it might cause confusion in the voting process so I don't recommend you doing it for now. :S

Ho-Oh January 31st, 2010 8:21 PM

kay then, just wondering. XD;

Jordan January 31st, 2010 8:35 PM

It's just that some folks miss these things easily.

Aw c'mon guys, dun be stingy and only vote for the minimum number of people. Spread the love around. Dx

Fairy Tail February 1st, 2010 1:18 PM

Huh.

I think my profile pic can be 160x160 max.

Must be different for Tier 5. And I know Tier 6 can have waaaaaay bigger ones, like the Staff do.

Anyways, gonna update the first post adding Thoughts in and saying that entering is closed. So remember, votes go to Miniryu, and if you haven't voted yet, Miniryu has every right to get Netto and/or Fi to heckle you until you do vote. Probably.

alisaie February 1st, 2010 1:52 PM

They should add how pic your profile pic can be t' the benefits at the supporters page, because when I donated I had no idea that your profile would be a bigger size the bigger tier ya got.

-voted already. |D-

ReyRey-Pyon February 1st, 2010 1:58 PM

just a suggestion
but i think you should all vote for that AWFUL AWESOME rey person :D

/slapped

Jordan February 1st, 2010 1:59 PM

Aaand concerning the voting rules, I've decided to interpret the last rule ("You must always vote with an even amount of people from each group") as literally "even numbers." For example, 4 non-supporters and two supporters okay, three supporters and three non-supporters not okay. This is because the number of non-supporters are disproportionately larger than the number of supporters; hence, it'd be more fair if the group receive a larger share of the votes.

Time for a sneak preview at the progress. It seems some clear favorites are appearing out of the bunch, and the supporters category is hotly contested among all members. C'mon folks, non-supporters need more love! Dx

10 votes have been cast so far.

A Pixy February 1st, 2010 2:00 PM

I'm probably going to lose.

VICTORY SHALL BE MINE!

alisaie February 1st, 2010 2:02 PM

Ah, so that's what they meant? -would have voted for some more non-supporters otherwise. XD;-

Salvation February 1st, 2010 2:02 PM

ekekekkekekeke

Im going to lose D; win =D

And I sent my votes (to the right person I hope ^^)

Opposite Day February 1st, 2010 2:29 PM

Just a question. Are anyone allowed to vote? (that is, everyone on pc, including those that do not participate in the contest) Because if that's not the case, and 10 votes have been cast already, it seems a bit daft to me to wait 10 days in order to receive word of our eventual success/failure, when it could easily have been done during, say the first day. (did I make myself understood? :Z )

Yup, anyone's allowed to vote, but those who entered are REQUIRED to vote~

And I think this discludes Mini-Jordan and me.
