Mmmmm, sorry for my inactivity since I joined guys. Internet issues, ya know?
Anyways, with that said. Who is your favorite ghost-type trainer in the games and why are they your favorite? I would have to say Morty obviously. He's, in my opinion the most amazing gym leader since he works Ghost pokemon. And if I remember right, isn't he the only male gym leader with Ghost pokemon? But he is my role model :D haha |

Why do you want to join?: No matter what my team is, I always find a ghost somewhere in my arsenal. How active will you be?: Active enough, i come on nearly every day. Partner Pokemon?: Tough choice. I'd want to say Dusknoir, but i'm afraid she's only for battles. the one i say is my partner is Drifblim. He may just be my Fly-er, but he still has lots of personality. Partner's Nickname [optional]?: None |
Hi everyone! It's been awhile since I've last visited. Sorry 'bout that... I've scanned over the posts made in my absence and updated the first page... You should check it out!
...Although, I didn't make that many changes. I added a section for fan-fiction and, from this day forward, the ranking system is in effect. So, sorry, no more than two topics a day can be posted (guess I better add that last part to the first page). ...................... I can't remember the other things I added. |D Oh, and we now have more than 10 members! Hooray! Welcome to the club Fire Wolf, GabetheLegend, and Hatenko. Who is your favorite ghost-type trainer in the games and why are they your favorite? Phoebe. My reasons for liking her are completely shallow, and they are 1.) I think she's adorable and I want her to be my waifu, and 2.) she an Elite Four member, I suppose that means she's really strong. What is your favorite Rotom Form? Competitively, wash-Rotom. I like to have a Pokemon who knows Rain Dance (like Spiritomb) on my team so that my Ghosts' Thunder attacks never miss. Wash-Rotom's Hydro Pump benefits from Rain Dance, too. A Rotom who knows Thunder, Hydro Pump, Shadow Ball, and Substitute should be unstoppable. Should be. xD Aestetically, I like fan-Rotom. |
The front page looks very organized and fancy. I liikkke. AND HOORAY FOR 10+ MEMBERS! The House's population is growing... bweheheheeee!
Can we normal Spooks make banners for the club, too? |

Hey, he is! The other three trainers are Agatha, Phoebe, and Fantina! Unless there's people who think Fantina's Tucker in disguise. -shot- Phoebe's kinda cute, actually. ^w^ 10+ members, you say? I hope we can make this last. BU We'll make it, we'll make it! |
*cues another bold topic, out of curiousity*
Where game-based battling is concerned, which ghost-type do you think is the best? |
Where game-based battling is concerned, which ghost-type do you think is the best?
When you mean game-based, you mean in-game? Competition-style confuses and confounds me. @[email protected] I'd think Gengar. He has fine speed and a powerful Sp. Atk. As does Haunter, if you're one of the few who have no one to trade with (like poor old me). but haunter looks cooler, so feh! Mismagius isn't as strong as Gengar, but she has passable Special stats (105 each, I think) and Speed of the same level. Dusclops has a rather pitiful Attack, but both his Defense stats are above-average. And when you evolve him... |
*high-fives for the awesomeness that is Haunter/Gengar*
But yeah, I meant in-game-- if someone wants to explain it all from a competitive standpoint, be my guest, but I personally have no skills in that knowledge so I'm not going to ask for that specificly. xD |

I would have to say a strong tie between Gengar and Dusknoir. Two pretty strong Ghost Pokemon and amazing when I'm using them of course haha. |

Where Game-based battling is concerned, which ghost type do you think is the best?
I agree with the majority, Gengar is epic win, SP Attack + Speed= Awesome Pokemon (not to mention cool looks) |
New Month, New Topic :3
If the creators of Pokemon were looking for a new baby Pokemon for a Ghost time, which Pokemon deserves the addition? For me, I think it would be nice for Shuppet/Banette to have a Baby type Pokemon. Or maybe at least Sableye since they don't have evolutions :3 |
^I disagree, Shuppet visually seems to be a baby pokemon. Maybe it's just him hatching from an egg in Pinball RS.
Where Game-based battling is concerned, which ghost type do you think is the best? I say Dusknoir. I was playing on PBR a few weeks ago and someone sent out a Gengar against my Dusknoir. Not only did Dusknoir survive a Shadow Ball, she murdered Gengar with a Shadow Punch. I find it very satisfying that she put that smug Gengar in their place. Shedinja could possibly be a force to be reckoned with. This one person on youtube, XSonic-somethingorother (who i absolutely can't stand), actually has a shedinja in a few PBR battles with a very good moveset and ev layout. here's the video: |
Eek! Haven't been here in a while. Sorry guys unfortunately past philosophers have been occupying a great deal of my free time lately. Anyways it's great to see that the club is continuing to expand and an exponential rate (Oh yeah I forgot to mention stats too). Anyways a warm welcome to all new members. Topic time *cracks knuckles*
Where Game-based battling is concerned, which ghost type do you think is the best? Rotom. Yup. I do like Gengar but the facts are it's not going to take a hit and live. Both Rotom and Dusknoir can take a hit and hit back HARD. However Rotom also has access to shadow ball (A good stab move) and has the electric type as well. All in all I find Rotom to be my preffered ghost (at the very least the appliance forms). @Hatenko: I would have never believed it if I didn't see it. Ok to be fair I think anything with a +6 attack is going to wreck the opposing team. I also blame the opponent for either not having the common sense to know only super effective moves work on shedinja or that he was unfortunate enough to have any moves on his other pokemon capable of completing the task bar Lugia who was immediately eliminated. Still cool vid nonetheless. What is your favorite Rotom Form? Oh Arceus why do you make me answer such difficult questions!? If I must choose I say Rotom-H. There's nothing more kicka** than a deadly toaster. I'd say wash and mower come in close second. (currently have Rotom-W so... yeah). Quote:

As for topics: Is there any ghost pokemon you think deserves another evolution or pre-evolution? |
Is there any ghost pokemon you think deserves another evolution or pre-evolution?
Yes Sableye and maybe Banette should have evolutions, If Dusclops gets a final form so should Banette and Sableye cuz its weak. |
Bah, I'm cruel for abandoning this club for a short while.
Is there any ghost pokemon you think deserves another evolution or pre-evolution? I be goin' with Banette. Banette has a decent attack, but he has poor defenses and speed, which leaves him vulnerable to the faster and stronger pogeys. His evolution should give him slightly better speed. What he'll look like...I'm uncreative. XP |

Btw, I'd be proud to make a few avatars and sigs for the fc, that is, if you guys want me to. :} |
Quote:
As redundant as this is, I also have to agree that Sableye DEFINITELY needs an evolution! (What is Spiritomb had one too...?) And it'd be pretty cool is Banette did too--since Duskclops does too... :) And I'd like to add a couple "what-if's:" Spiritomb and Drifblim (although I don't really think Drifblim needs one). But what if there was...? |
New Question:
What Ghost type moves do you think is best for contests? |
