wow, [email protected]!
This happened a few weeks after I caught latias and traded over latios to my ruby version. i noticed they had opposite genders, so i decided to breed them.
i left them there for a week, but they did not breed. so i left them there just so they could raise levels. i forgot about them for about a month, then i realised they were missing so i got them out for about a fortune. One day, I taught my Jirachi water pulse, not for a permenent move, but so i could train it easily in the desert. and the first Pokemon i met was--Latias! seriously, i saw a second latias, its location is even on my pokedex. so i was wondering if i broke a code trying to breed it, or something else. thanks in advance |
Is this on your Ruby or Sapphire, as the outcome could be different if it's on a certain game.
Ruby - Something must have happened to your game since Latias doesn't even appear in Ruby. Have you used a cheating device of some sort? Some of them do have consequences and unwanted side-effects Sapphire - That's normal. Since you traded them over from another Sapphire, the one in Sapphire (2) wouldn't have seen Latias just yet, and will still appear in the wild. It's a trick commonly used for getting more than one dog in GSC. |
sorry, i should have been more specific. on my sapphire version, i caught a latias. i then traded my latios from my ruby version. so, i failingly breeded the 2 on sapphire version. i then encountered another latias in the desert. i checked the latias i had, and it said i encountered it from route 119(it was funny--i had found a feebas spot, and was surfing towards it when my latias appeared. luckily, my sabeleye who knows mean look was in front, so i was able to catch it). it said 119, not from a trade, meaning i could not have restarted the game. i hope it's easier to answer my question now ^^

OK - that's normal if you traded it over, since the game will not recognise that as a Pokemon you have caught, but gotten in a trade. It'll count it as captured, but you'll still encounter another Latias normally. Hope it answers your question. ^_^

Hehe everyone should know that legendary pokemon cannot breed even if they do have different genders and if someone says Im wrong then you probably didnt walk around enough!
|
Mr. Cat Dog, I think what he's trying to say is that he caught a Latias on his Sapphire version, put it in the daycare with a Latios, and went to the desert and found Latias again, even though he already has one in the Daycare. Same Pokemon, Same game.

I was about to say that, so you legally have two Latias's now, I like glitches!
