What new words would you like to see?
What new words would you like to see added to the English language?
This is my suggestion: Artierge: In my art classes, we often have to analyze paintings and describe how they convey feelings to the person looking at the painting. But the problem is, there isn't an actual term to describe "the person looking at the painting". Every time I refer to "the person looking at the painting", I have to write "the person looking at the painting". Artierge is a term to describe "the person looking at the painting". |
I'd love to add Joletrolling.. cause there's no word for "Jolene's trolling around PC again."
No but really, are you serious? There are enough words in the dictionary already. And you can use "The audience" or "The viewer" or "One" for "The person looking at the painting" Maybe all you need is to learn more vocabulary. |
Exply, antonym to imply. I tend to use it anyway as saying "explicitly made apparent" is frivilous.

I would like to see 'uncircular'. I mean, if it's not a circle, it's an oval. But ovals look more like eggs, so, if it's not a perfect circle, and not egg looking, uncircular!
