Chapter 1

Today was the day that I embarked on my journey. I made sure to pick up the potion that I had been saving and headed out of my house. First, I needed to go to Viridian City to pick up some Pokeballs that I could my Ratatta. However, I was stopped by old Oak that lives next door. Apparently, even though I went back and forth between here and Viridian City almost every day, today I needed a Pokemon to be my partner. Of course, he doesn't know about our secret organization, that requires me to travel so frequently. We operate in the Viridian Gym, which is supposedly closed. In reality, however, our organization performs tests on Pokemon. We don't want anyone to find out, so we destroyed the gym, and only left a small hole in the back of the gym to get to the lab. Anyways, Oak made me go with him to get a puny Pokemon to accompany me on my trip. I chose a Squirtle. His whiny grandson saw my Squirtle, and chose a Bulbasaur to fight mine with. When I tried to leave, he wanted to battle me. What a nuisance. I easily beat him, and didn't even need my potion that I had with me. So with this Squirtle, I went to Viridian City. On the way there, I met a kind person that worked at the Mart. He didn't have any Pokeballs, but he did give me another potion. When I finally made it to the Mart, the clerk made me run an errand back to Oak. He gave me some special Pokeball, but I couldn't figure out how to use it. He wouldn't give me a Pokeball until I ran his errand. Although I considered waiting a while in the city and going back in claiming I had delivered it, I made the short walk back to Pallet Town. Oak was so thrilled with the Pokeball, and he gave me a Pokedex just for delivering it to him. When I finally got back to the city, I picked up my Pokeball, and proceeded to search around in the grass for a Ratatta. Finding one wasn't too hard, and catching it was even easier. I caught it, and named it Fang. I dumped off my worthless Squirtle, and Fang and I went to train. We barely beat a tough Nidoran Male, and I wanted it. I got a few more Pokeballs and searched around for one. Finally I found one and caught it. I named it Titan. Our intense training session was cut short by the whining boy again. He had been training too, and wanted to battle. His Pokemon each got a single attack off. Pitiful. We decided to get away from all these worthless Pokemon and went to the neighboring forest.

For everyone that has already signed up cold you please say which game you are using. I changed the entry form as i realised you could play in either gen 1 or gen 2

myrrhman March 1st, 2010 12:15 AM

I'm doing blue. But I think that red would be much easier.

~Hot n' Cold~ March 3rd, 2010 2:58 PM

I'll take a shot at this.
Seems pretty fun.

myrrhman March 3rd, 2010 11:35 PM

Hmph. Pathetic. While walking through the forest, I came across the most worthless excuse of Pokemon that I had ever seen. They were all bugs that Fang and Titan could take down without breaking a sweat. What I couldn't believe was that trainers actually wanted these Pokemon. I must have run across three trainers who all had these Weedle and Caterpie. I hurried through to Pewter City. This city had a gym, which could maybe finally put up a good fight to my Pokemon. There were only two trainers inside, and after dispatching the first one, I went after the leader, Brock. He had some good Pokemon, but they were weak. After a long battle, Fang walked out, victorious over his Onix. He gave me a Boulderbadge. After letting them rest, I took my Pokemon with me to go to Mt. Moon, where we had an operation trying to get our hands on rare Pokemon. Still, more weak Pokemon and trainers. I fought a few of my allied Rocket members out of sheer boredom, after all, in Team Rocket, if you are powerful, you can do whatever you want. Finally, I found a nerd who had located two fossils. After crushing him, he convinced me to let him have one for finding them. I exited the cave, mission completed, and entered Cerulean City. In Cerulean City, the sniveling wimp was waiting for me, with some demented idea that I was weak compared to him. I demanded a battle, and for the third time in as many attempts, I took out all his Pokemon with ease. It was here that Fang evolved into a Raticate. After this, I got a call from the boss. He wanted me to check in on our "project". I went up the bridge, decimating the trainers in my path. At the top was a Rocket member, who wanted me to join Team Rocket. For not knowing me being in the most superior of organizations, I crushed his Pokemon, and afterwards, mugged him of his Nugget for ever doubting me. There was commotion ahead. A giant Kabuto was walking around, screaming. But I knew better, I knew of the experiment that Team Rocket ran on some pathetic human named Bill, after he wouldn't use the storage system that he created to send us all the trainers' boxed Pokemon. We fused him with the Kabuto DNA, and trapped him in a human sized Kabuto body. He had been like this for three months. His punishment being over, I restored his body to its previous state. Bill, not being aware that I was one of Team Rocket, thanked me by giving me a ticket to get on the fanciest of cruise ships: the SS Anne. I returned for Cerulean and entered the local gym. The leader, Misty, was the only one to scratch either of my Pokemon. I left the pathetic town and headed for Vermillion, where one of Boss's friends awaited me.

Nice update. I love reading your posts, you put alot of effort into turning it into a story.

myrrhman March 4th, 2010 12:46 AM

Thanks, Hally, I think its a fun way to add to the gameplay.

And now for chapter 3!!!

When I got to Vermilion City, my first instinct was to quickly finish my mission for the boss. Lt. Surge, one of Boss's friends, was the local gym leader. Secretly, although not a member of Team Rocket, he was still friendly towards our organization, and Boss, realizing my potential and honoring me as the second strongest member of Team Rocket, wanted us to meet. On my way, I battled a few more weak trainers. During one of my battles, a wild Drowzee hypnotized Titan, which cost him the battle, although Fang was there to save him. Furious, I tracked down the Drowzee and caught it, naming it Ereshkigal. Although it was uncharacteristic of me, I felt like going on the boat that Bill had given me the pass to. So, I bypassed the gym and headed on the boat. Someone must have known who I was, because a man walked past me saying something about being hot on the trail of Team Rocket. Not too much further and I had my answer. Oak's grandson, as snobby as ever, was complaining about a seasick captain. I showed no mercy in beating him once again. Just to rub it in his face, I proceeded to help the Captain get over his seasickness. After that, feeling that I had wasted too much time, I left and headed for the gym. This gym was infuriating. There were 18 trashcans scattered about the gym, and there were two secret buttons in two of the trashcans. Surge's door wouldn't open unless both buttons were pushed. However, video cameras were watching, and if you looked in the wrong can, the buttons would reset and move to new trashcans. Temper flaring, once I found the right two trashcans, I stormed into Surge's chamber and challenged him to a battle. Smirking, he accepted. This battle was much closer to my level, and after a long battle, I came out on top. Surge gave me the secrets to a new move, a very powerful electric move called thunderbolt. At this time, Boss called me. Seeing that I already had 3 badges, he put me on a special mission, to be regarded above all others. I was to travel to the remaining 5 gyms and defeat each leader. With 8 badges, I would be admitted to the elite league at Indigo Plateau. I was to win this league, and become the strongest trainer in the known world. This would give Team Rocket power, with which we could become public. The boss was the leader of the last gym I would be facing, and when I was strong enough to beat him, he was going to step down as head of Team Rocket, and I would take the position. Motivated, I set out at once. I battled my way through a large cave, stealing a bike in the process to move quicker. Halfway through, Ereshkigal evolved. On the other side of the cave and a few trainers later, amongst the weak wild Pokemon, I found a wild Meowth. It had such a beautiful coat, nice long whiskers: I had to have it. I appreciated Hypnosis now that it was on my side, and caught the Meowth. I named it Felix. I then continued into Celadon City.

Nice update myrrhman, im going to have to try keep up with you. Haha

Chapter One: Stealing from Oak
I got my team rocket membership today, and my first mission was to steal a rare pokemon from Professor Oak.
I went into his lab and he mistook me for someone else so i decided to go along with it. I chose the water type pokemon, Squirtle as Team Rocket doesnt seem to have any water types. I snagged a pokedex off of the old coot while i was there. I walked up to the pokemart and stole a couple of pokeballs to catch some pokemon. I caught a rattata and a male nidoran. After i caught them i sent my Squirtle to the team rocket headquarters. The trainer that was with me when i took squirtle figured out i was with team rocket so he challenged me to a battle. I easily beat his pittiful pokemon. I walked up through a forest full of weak pokemon and weak strangers. Killing every pokemon that got in my way. I got to Pewter city where a rock trainer was a gym leader. My orders were to defeat him and steal his TM. I did this with ease and my Nidoran decided to evolve. I got sick of my pathetic rattata so i sent her to team rocket head quarters. My next orders are to check on our program on nugget bridge.

Chapter 4

Today, boss called me in. He told me that in order to become a successful Rocket Leader, I needed to practice hiding my identity. I was instructed to defeat Team Rocket three times, and to keep my identity hidden each time. I would meet Boss Giovanni himself at the ends of two of these missions, and we would battle. The first mission was to take place here in Celadon City, in the Game Corner that we had secretly taken over. The slot machines were rigged, and all the money we got from innocent people we used on technology. I beat the security guard and hit the secret switch behind the poster, activating the hidden staircase. I progressed through the basement, stealing the key to the elevator off of one guard, and eventually made it to Boss. We battled, and I won. Boss was very impressed with my progress. His only advice was to evolve Titan, which I did with a moon stone. For winning, he gave me the Silph Scope, a device that would allow me to see ghosts at the next mission, the tower in Lavender Town. Remembering his other mission for me, I stopped by the gym and destroyed the local leader, Erika. I then went to Lavender Town.

On the way, I saw a wild Sandshrew that caught my attention. I had seen a few other Rockets with Sandshrews and their evolutions, Sandslash, and I wanted one for myself. I caught it, and named it Spike, because I knew that when it evolved into a Sandslash, it would have magnificent spikes all over its back with which to ward off enemies.

Unfortunately, Lavender didn't have a gym for me to win at, so I headed straight for the Pokemon Tower. Inside, I was stopped by Oak's grandson once more. I went easy on him, letting Felix get some experience. At the end of the battle, Felix evolved! With the new power of Felix and Titan, I quickly got to the top of the tower and beat the three Rocket grunts that were supposed to be guarding some old man named Fuji. I did, and Fuji was saved.

The final mission was in Saffron City. At the entrance to the Silph building, which we had taken over, I met a security Grunt who had fallen asleep on the job. I made a mental note to tell Boss about this. Inside Silph were a bunch of teleporting pads. I knew the way to the boss, after all, I was second in command. Getting to the boss was not hard, and I beat the wimp once more on the way. Boss was holding the President of Silph hostage, and I "rescued him" by beating Boss again. He was proud to see that all of my Pokemon were evolved and trained, and that I had 4 of the 8 badges. Two more of his friends ran gyms: Sabrina the Psychic ran the gym here in Saffron, and Koga the ninja ran the one in Fuchsia. I quickly hurried over to the Saffron gym. Inside were more teleport pads, But these I didn't know how to traverse. I battled through a few underling trainers and made it to Sabrina relatively unharmed. She was by far the strongest trainer I had fought thus far, but I was much stronger. She offered me the secrets of a powerful new move, but I was contempt with the moves of all my Pokemon, and we were already an unbeatable team, so I declined. Outside, I hurried to Fuchsia. The gym was easy to find, and Koga, being a poison master, was no match for Ereshkigal. After I won, he told me that the punishment for the warden of the safari zone had gone long enough. So, I ventured deep within the Safari Zone and retrieved the warden's golden teeth. I returned them to him, and warned him that next time Team Rocket tells him to give us all the Pokemon in the Safari Zone, he should do as we want.

The next closest gym was the one on the Island of Cinnabar. Boss had another mission for me to do on the island, so grudgingly, I made the long trip. Halfway through, in the cave on Seafoam Islands, Spike evolved into a Sandslash. When I got out, I was nearly there. I found that the door to the gym was locked, and to get in, I had to find the key within the Pokemon Mansion. I went deep within its depths, found the key, and returned to the surface. Stopping at the volcano, I planted the explosives that would one day cause the volcano to erupt. I quickly entered the gym, defeated Blaine, and left.

There was only one badge left. And Boss had it. I knew he would go full force on me for our last battle, and I was prepared. I went back to Viridian City, prepared, and entered the gym. It wasn't in ruins anymore. Boss had restored it, and there were plenty of trainers for me to battle for warm up. Finally, all that was left was Boss himself. The battle was long. In the end, only two Pokemon stood. His Rhydon. My Nidoking. It truly was a battle of champions. Titan was the victor. Boss gave me one last present before he dissappeared forever. He gave me a move, called Earthquake, that was rumored to be one of the strongest moves in the Pokemon world. I taught it to Spike, and all that stood in my way was the Pokemon League.

Update # 5 (and final)

From Viridian City, I headed west to the Indigo Plateau, with the memory of Boss fresh in my mind. From this point forward, I was fighting for him. I was fighting for his legacy. I would not let anyone stand in my way. We battled our way through the Victory Road, the final step before the tournament of champions. After we got to the Plateau, we still had over a week to prepare. We went to the end of the Victory Road, and trained for the entire week, to the point of exhaustion. One week later, the tournament had started. I sent a Zubat out to do a bit of recon of our first opponent. Her name was Loreli, and she was an Ice and Water Pokemon Master.

Round 1: Persian vs. Loreli
Spoiler:
Felix, knowing the secret technique that Lt. Surge taught me, had an easy time with the battle. Her first Pokemon was a Dewgong. We had plenty of experience with these Pokemon while traveling through the Seafoam Islands. One thunderbolt was enough to dispatch it. The same thing happened to the Cloyster that followed. Third was a Slowbro. This Pokemon was much tougher, and took a couple of hits before going down. Fourth was a Jynx. I had never encountered one of these, but Zubat's recon suggested that it liked trying to put enemies to sleep and using Psychic attacks. Felix was very careful, and after a long battle, Slashed Jynx in the face for the finishing blow. Loreli's final Pokemon was Lapras. As soon as Lapras was released from its Pokeball, I could tell that this was her ace in the hole. She smirked and said "I hope you're ready for this". Her Lapras was very quick, and hit Felix square on with a massive Body Slam. But Felix fought back, and fought back valiantly. I could tell that Felix was running out of steam, and I needed to finish the battle quickly. Felix darted past the Lapras' Ice Beam attacks and under its flippers. Spinning around on the spot, it launched a full-charged Thunderbolt. The Lapras went down, but Felix was really hurt, and I still had more battles to go.

Round 2: Hypno vs. Bruno
Spoiler:
The second trainer that I went up against was a large, muscular man. I could tell that he would have fighting type Pokemon, so I sent out Ereshkigal. He suprised me by sending out an Onix. It was no problem, however, because Ereshkigal knew how to use Submission. He leapt up into the air and grabbed the Onix by its horn. With incredible force, it flipped it over its head and slammed it on the ground. The Onix was out. Then Bruno sent out a Hitmonlee. I wasn't familiar with this Pokemon, but I could tell by its muscular legs that it was of the fighting type. Rather unfortunate match-up against a Psychic Pokemon like Ereshkigal. One Psychic blast was enough to finish it. The same fate awaited the Hitmonchan that followed. Next up was another Onix, who went down the exact same way as his brother. Ereshkigal was getting a little tired from flipping both of these Onixes I could tell. But there were only a couple more Pokemon to go. He sent out his strongest Pokemon, a Machamp. Easy prey for Psychic. I thought he might have another Pokemon, but he didn't, and the battle was over.

Round 3: Sandslash and Raticate vs. Agatha
Spoiler:
The third round was played in a graveyard. My first thought was Ghost Pokemon, so I led Fang, and had Spike to back him up. The lady that I was fighting was ancient, and looked to be as old as Oak, the Professor from way back in my hometown. She did mention that she knew him long ago. She then sent out her first Pokemon, a Gengar. Just as I thought. I sent out Fang, because Ghost moves wouldn't affect him, and he could dig underground. I was faster, so Fang used Dig. The next turn, when he came back up, he fainted her Gengar in one shot. Next up was a Golbat. Not a Ghost, and flying so he couldn't be hit by Dig. But, Dig wasn't all that Fang knew, and after a couple of rounds, Golbat went down to a well placed Hyper Fang. She sent out a Haunter, which went down to Dig. Then she sent out an Arbok. I used Dig, but it missed, and Arbok Glared at Fang, paralyzing it! I tried to keep battling with Fang, but his paralysis was too much, and he almost fainted after a Bite attack from Arbok caused him to flinch. So, I returned him, and sent out Spike. Arbok bit him once more, and the next turn, I took him down with Earthquake. Agatha sent out her last Pokemon, another Gengar, which went down to another Earthquake. The battle was mine.

Round 4: Nidoking vs. Lance
Spoiler:
The next battle was against Lance, who Agatha tipped me off was a Dragon Master. I didn't have any experience with the Dragon type, so I sent out Titan first, who was my only Pokemon that still had all of its energy left. First, Lance sent out a Gyarados. This wasn't a Dragon! I had fought them before, and knew that they were Water types! Oh well. I kept Titan out, ignoring the fact that Persian would be better suited for battling this Pokemon, and ended up killing him after he missed with Hydro Pump and Titan connected with Rock Slide after missing with the first one. His next Pokemon was a Dragonair. The only thing I knew about Dragon Pokemon, which I came across while looking through files at Team Rocket Headquarters, is that they were weak to Ice type attacks. Well, luckily enough, Titan knew Ice Beam! Lance's Dragonair went down in one Ice Beam, as did the one that followed it. Then, he sent out an Aerodactyl. I had never seen one before, but it looked sorta like a Dragon, so I hit it with an Ice Beam too. It also fainted in one shot. Lance's last Pokemon was a Dragonite, the evolved form of the two Dragonair that I had just beat. I beat it in the same way: one Ice Beam. It was the easiest battle I had, and this was supposed to be the hardest battle! After the battle, Lance informed me that I had one opponent left. It was...

Round 5: A vs. Rival
Spoiler:
The last battle was against none other than Oak's grandson, my rival, who I had beaten countless times before. I had to keep my guard up though. I made sure to heal all my Pokemon before entering the final room. Since Titan had just come off a great performance, I led him first again. That, and the fact that every time before this, the guy had led a Pidgey (or its evolved forms). Sure enough, a Pidgeot came out, and sure enough, it went down one Rock Slide later. Next was Alakazam, which I had much experience from previous battles with him. One Rock Slide was enough to take it down. Third was his Rhydon, which he had evolved since I had battled him last. One surf was enough to take him out. He sent out his Arcanine next, who, like Rhydon, had evolved since our last battle. Just like Rhydon, it went down to a Surf. In my mind, I remembered our previous battles, and how he had a Gyarados, and how he liked to save his Venusaur for last. So, before he could send someone out, I took back Titan, and sent out Felix. Sure enough, he sent out his Gyarados, and sure enough, it was gone one Thunderbolt later. All that was left was his Venusaur, who had grown a lot since our last battle. It took out Felix and Spike in just one Razor Leaf and Mega Drain, respectively. I sent out Titan, who hit it with two Ice Beam attacks before going down. I finally sent out Ereshkigal, who finished it off in one Psychic attack.

It was finally over. I was the Champion, the most powerful and influential trainer in the world. I registered myself in the Hall of Fame, and with Boss in mind, completed my journey.

What about adding the Victreebel family, Lickytung and Yanma (Jessie has one in the 4th gen anime)

My team will be:
Victreebel
Lickytung
Weezing
Arbok

Maybe I'll add a Yanma too.

I started off choosing Cyndaquil, did the beginning stuff, bla bla and caught myself a Bellsprout. I think I should go focus and train a lot, then take on Falkner, go catch an Ekans and then beat the Sprout tower.
Trained up Bellsprout to level 16. To beat Falkner, I used Sleep Powder on Pidgey, then boosting up with Growth and then I pwnt Pidgey. Pidgeotto was nearlo 1HKOed after 6 Growths with Vine Whip. Continued my journey, caught an Ekans and grinded it up to level 16 too. Continued to Azalea and did the Slowpoke well stuff. I decided to pwn my rival first, so I did. Gastly and Zubat both went down to Ekans Bite and Croconaw deid to Bellsprouts Vine Whip. Now to challenge BugsY!

Bugsy was kinda hard. Metapoda and kakuna went down to multiple wrapping from Ekans, but Scyther was really hard! I had to use Sleep powder multiple times, without missing because if I'd miss he'd sweep both pokemon easily. at the end, Scyther was in red, and Bellsprout too. he used Quick attack so I couldn't get him into sleep, but that reset the Fury cutter damage counter so Ekans could survive a hit and KO with Bite.

I went into Ilex forest to get back the farfetch'd and taught HM Cut to Bellspprout. a bit later I teached Ekans TM Headbutt. pwnt the trainers and bellsprout evolved into Weepinbell! :D
Then my game glitches and I´m back to before Bugsy D:

Apparently, something is wrong with my rom lol. Sometimes a random sprite is 2 places lower than it should be, though it's only the sprite, not the event. Looks weird talking to air XD

Hallylicious March 7th, 2010 1:32 AM

Nice updae, ill add your badge in

11wildy March 7th, 2010 2:05 AM

But I wasn't finished yet lol, jsut checking my 2 PMs. And btw, I have 2 badges, close to 3. I also think I'll add a Persian to my team.

I am back to Goldenrod and started beating all trainers out there. I asked the bug catchers phone number so he can call me for a Yanma. If he won't call em before the end of teh game, I won't use it, but if he will, I'll try my first Yanma catch :D

Teached Dig to Arbok, which just evolved. Went to pwn Withney, who was really easy. I used Sleep powder with Weepinbell and then started boosting with Growth. After 6 it 1HKOed Clefairy and nearly 1HKOed Miltank. 1 other hit was enough to KO. I teached TM Attract to Arbok lol.

Time to go and catch a Koffing! :D

Went to Ecruteak and challenegd my Rival. Arboks Bite beat Haunter. Arboks Dig beat Magnemite. Arboks headbutt beat Zubat and Croconaw. Boring battle...

Caught a Koffing down in that building and grinded it up to 25, equal to Arbok and Weepinbell. then I had some problems with the event of the 3 dogs running away, since they randomly went 2 places down, ruining the event and crashing the game. after like 10 tries it worked for once and I can go on. Now I think about that I forgot to do the sprout tower lol.

Teached Koffing Rollout. Sprout toer will be very easy, especially when I'm like 20 levels higher.

Got HM Surf and teached it to my slave Goldeen

I'll continue later

Alpha Male/Nidorino, level 20
Level 20 Nidorino moves go here.

Jaws/Ratatta, Level 14
Level 14 Ratatta moves go here.

jujuju/Jack/Gold

I am going to attempt a 7 pokemon team that will include:
Raticate
Onix/Steelix
Crobat
Magneton
Kadabra/Alakazam
Machoke/Machamp
Tauros

May or may not have access to trades.

Also, if you want to get technical, then you should add a Growlithe to the list as it was a Pokemon previously owned by James in the Anime.
