Oh look, a Toon deck. The biggest flaw I've found in Toon decks...
Foe activated Giant Trunade, Harpie's Feather Duster, Dark Hole, Mystical Space Typhoon etc. etc. Toon World was destroyed/returned to deck. Even if you have more then one it costs 1000 Life Points to use. If you waste all of them, not only will you have lost at least 3000 Life Points, but a lot of the cards in your deck will be useless. In fact, I would try to make sure you used Toon World as much as possible so that you would force yourself into a corner. I suggest cards that can bring Toon World back, Magician of Faith, things like that. I also suggest some LP healing cards, Emergency Provisions and Dian Keto the Cure Master just to say a few. Also, I LOVE this card and suggest it to anyone, anywhere. Toon World is the ultimate Double Edged Sword, if your opponent can't get rid of it, FTW. If they can quickly, you'd better have a back-up plan. Also, Krebons? The last thing you need is less life points unless you just want to eat up the Battle Phase. Also, nice touch with the Dark Armored Dragon, I would NOT see that coming. |

Oh, a traditional deck.
Ok, here are my tips: 1. I'd recommend to ditch 1 Allure of darkness and add 1 Pot of Greed. Also (if you want), you can ditch the 2x Krebons and add 1x Sangan, 1x Marshmallon. 2. Since you're using a Toon deck, decrease Threatening Roar and Mist Body to 2 and add x3 (or whatever you prefer) "Magic Reflector" so that when you have Toon World on the field you can avoid it being destroyed. The only thing on your way is Giant Trunade. 3. And like "THAT WONDERFUL PIXY GUY!" said add an "United We Stand" to your deck. Its awesome I tell you! ;) So in total if you use my tips, here is what you'll have: Total Cards: 42 or 43 Monsters Toon Summoned Skull x2 Toon Masked Sorcer x2 Toon Gemini Elf x3 Toon Cannon Soldier x3 Toon Goblin Attack Force x3 Krebons x1 Marshmallon x1 Sangan x1 Dark Armed Dragon x1 Toon Alligator x1 Toon Dark Magician Girl x2 Spells Allure of Darkness x2 Toon Worldx3 Toon Table of Contents x3 Mist Body x2 Emergency Teleport x1 Raigeki x1 Monster Reborn x1 Magic Reflector x3 Pot of Greed x1 United We Stand x2 or x1 Traps Threatening Roar x2 Mirror Force x1 Crush Card Virus x1 These are only my tips. You can ignore it if you want. |

Why the heck ISN'T Pot being used? As well, Magic Reflector is a bit... wasteful.
Magical Stone Excavation if you're playing Toons at all, and/or Forbidden Chalice to prevent them being blown up. More importantly, though, Emergency Provisions and Phoenix Wing Wind Blast are key, key cards to your deck - through Emergency Provisions, Toon World is NEVER destroyed and your Toon monsters never go boom due to something like Mystical Space Typhoon or Heavy Storm, and plus you gain back the 1000 LP you paid if you play Emergency Provisions. Magical Stone Excavation is truly magical in this deck. You can get back any number of useful things if you discard, and frankly discards aren't that horrible if you have a number of cards used for discard fodder. Still, I'd only run 1 of and 1 Magician of Faith to pick up the slack. As for arguments like "I won't have Emergency Provisions!", there's a cool card out there named Card Guard that soaks up the destruction effects aimed at your Toon World like a pro. For a 1600 body, it can protect a card from being destroyed and kill stuff - indeed, it's a miniBreaker except it fixes stuff instead of breaking them. Alright, with that in mind, I'd also like to incorporate at least a Plaguespreader Zombie and probably more Zombies into this deck, as it handles them quite well with Crush Card and stuff. I've attempted to make a Toon deck, but honestly Toons aren't that good, especially in traditional. To the guys who say "United We Stand" is good, it is sort of good, but only good in Ben Kei OTK or Power Tool decks. Otherwise it's crap because equip cards are horrible card management. |
