Something New I Noticed...
I noticed that in stats, the game shows what stats are affected by your Pokemon's Nature!
Red is the increased stat, blue is the decreased. Just letting you all know. Opinions on this new discovery? |
Oh yeah, I heard about this from someone else. What does it show for natures that increase and decrease the same stat?
It's nifty. Won't have to check online for natures. |
That sounds Awesome! yay... :)
|
That sounds really cool can't wait to take a look at it :]
|
I noticed the colours on the stat names, but I didnt know what they meant. Thanks for sharing that. Now I need to buy drugs for my scizor lol
|
off topic: Nintendo has gone way too far in this game... but in a good way!
on topic: Yea, I noticed that when I first got it. I was like "Why the heck is there blue and red stats?" but then when I got to the first gym I found out :D |
Mine don't have that for some reason. Their stats are all black.

Can't be, I have quirky, modest, gentle, and sassy natures.

I heard about this a long time ago, actually, I just haven't really paid any attention to it.
They are kinda hard to see imo |
I did notice they were a bit faint, but i was wondering why that was. I noticed it in the Japanese game, but at the time didn't think anything of it. How interesting... But good interesting! :D
|
Thanks for illuminating this. I was wondering what the heck the blue and red letters were for!
|
Sounds like a neat feature. Thanks for telling me, now I don't have to waste time searching the web for natures :D

I just noticed this today...never looked at the stats closely until today and I was like woah...thats helpful |
Actually this has been around since the third Generation in Ruby/Sapphire. They just didn't show the stats differences. But yes this has been around for a loooong time. I always found Timid interesting. And of course there are some Natures which don't affect anything at all, like Quirky.
You can find more about this topic on Bulbapedia under Natures. |
I...I don't understand where this is shown. Is it where it says Hp Attack ect. Or is it on the stat number, because everything on all my pokemon shows balack and white...

I just noticed this last night, and only after David pointed it out. It's so faint that you can barely see it unless you're looking for it. But it really is a nice feature - now there's no running to Bulbapedia whenever I get a nature that I can't remember which stats it affects. XD
|
What're you talking about? D; All of the EV stats are the same as they are in every other Pokemon game?

Nice find :]
This is gonna come in handy for the EV training cause now I don't have to go check the Nature right away on some guide or something. Can't believe I didn't notice that yet. |
Blue is decreased.
Red is increased. No colour? Neutral nature. I noticed this in the Jap' version, but what I wonder is: why is Red the increase? Red is such a negative colour. I personally think blue should have been increased and red, decreased. |
