The Pokewalker glitch doesn't work it may seem like it was cloned but when you try to send the cloned pokemon back to the game it will say the [insert pokemon here] was released into the wild

ahungryhamster June 19th, 2010 4:24 PM

@Macy123

Each Pokemon participating in the battle would earn 8 EV points.

Ahungryhamster is correct, the only thing that's halved is the EXP gained. Any Pokémon that gains EXP from a Pokémon gains its EVs as well.

Have (the equivalent of) 12 Plains blocks in the Meadow, get a Pokémon that's level 41 or 42 at the front of your party, and use Repels. You'll only run into Chansey, and they're not too rare. Only disadvantage is that you can't injure them to make them easier to catch.

I want a chancey with an lucky egg. Not just the chancey. The safari zone is hard to capture without make it weaken it first.

Can my Pokemon evolve into >

Hey are my Pokemon able to evolve into their Sinnoh region forms. Like my Rhydon, in what ever his name is.

Tiax June 20th, 2010 8:53 AM

Yeah, some of those items can be found in Johto or Kanto, so you could evolve Pokemon like Togetic, Magmar, or even your Rydon. Pokemon like Glaceon, Leafeon, Magnezone, and Probopass can only be obtained in D/P/P. I'm not sure if you can get the items to evolve Sneasel and Gligar...probably not.

Scroll down to the locations same in both versions

Christopher June 20th, 2010 11:31 AM

you can only evolve them after you get the nat dex also the razor claw/fang can be bought at the battle tower

TRMASCOT June 20th, 2010 12:13 PM

How do I check my pokemon's stats?? I hate how you cant check all your pokemon's stuff just by looking at them on the pokemon thing. Is there even a way to see their stats without leveling them?

daniel12202 June 20th, 2010 1:40 PM

I feel kinda dumb asking this, but does anyone know how to move the snorlax in front of Diglet's cave?

EDIT: Sorry, I looked on the first page of the thread and found my answer.

Not true, actually. You can evolve any Pokemon into it's final evolutionary form anytime you like. Their Pokedex numbers will just be ??? and they of course won't be in the Pokedex until you get National.

bobandbill June 20th, 2010 9:28 PM

Moving this to the Help thread as I don't rightly know if this is the case (but resetting the game would make you lose the event seeing you reset the pokewalker as wll that way I believe). Ask questions in this Help thread next time, please.

JakeyBoy June 21st, 2010 8:11 AM

All unlocked courses are saved to the DS game, not the Pokewalker. I don't know exactly how the Pokewalker works, but if the game lets you connect to any of them without a fuss, then you should be able to keep your courses. However it may think that it is a different Pokewalker, and force you to delete all the courses so as to avoid people sharing the courses.

I train all of my Pokémon at Mt.Silver, I think it's the best place to level them up after done some EV training.

What level are your pokemon now? Where in mt. silver? The fields by the pokemon center or up top.

Ikarus June 22nd, 2010 12:06 AM

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post.

Regarding EV training (I'm still new to all of this)

Do you have to repeat the cycle of gaining 252/252/6 Stat EV's each level? I'm still a little uncertain about this.

JakeyBoy June 22nd, 2010 12:25 AM

No, that's the maximum you can get. I don't even think it's possible to get that in one level. Basically, once you level up, the Pokemon you defeated to level up will give you some EVs. These can range from 1 to 3, and can be for any stat. To find out what Pokemon gives off what stats, look here. There are also a few items that change how many EVs are added, and to which stat. These are here.

Ikarus June 22nd, 2010 12:34 AM

So what you're saying is, once i've maxed the 510 EV's even by lets say.. level 25 or something.. i can stop ev training and just grind it to level 100? O_O

sorry if this question sounds stupid.

JakeyBoy June 22nd, 2010 12:43 AM

It's not stupid, that's exactly right. Good luck doing it that early though, I don't see it happening, unless I've misunderstood something about how the vitamins work.

Ikarus June 22nd, 2010 1:06 AM

Nah i just threw in a random level to help make my question easier to understand. Thanks alot for clarifying this with me, appreciate it. =]
