Most accurate way to count your steps with the PokeWalker

Hey guys

I was just doing a few experiments with the PokeWalker to find out which method seems to be most accurate.

So I tried it by walking with it in my hand... not very accurate, got around half the amount of steps I took.

I tried it with my pocket, WAY worse, i took around 20 steps and I got 5 steps counted.

I tried it strapped onto my jeans, wasn't so accurate. got maybe 13/20

Then I tried with it in my sock. It got around 19/20

So guys, if you are using the PokeWalker in the way it was meant to be used, put it in your sock. It is very accurate and will count nearly every step you take, maybe even more depending on your movements.

i don't want a sweaty pokewalker after im done walking :P. but this does sound like an efficient way to count steps..

The steps seem a bit off for me as well. Sometimes it seems to count more than I have walked and sometimes less.

I've got it on my belt right above my hip. :/
That's where I used to keep my Pokemon Pikachu and it seemed accurate then. Go fig.

I won't put it in my sock either, but thanks for the tip! xD Maybe I can put it on my ankle or above my knee instead. :D

That method would probably work very well too, how would you put it there though?

Id rather put it in my shoe, but with gym starting again in the 4th qt of school, its risky.

A small belt or chain probably. :D I've got some materials laying around that I can use to make a stretchy belt to put just above my knee. I can use the same stuff to make one for my ankle.

Definitely going to test drive the belts before I take them out for some serious walking to make sure they won't break or something. I've got a few chains that would work as well, but I would definitely want to attach the pokewalker to them by more than just the clip. I've got a pony-tail holder strung through mine that I use to attach it to my current belt, so I could string the chain through that. xD
