Small PokeWalker Questions

This isn't really much of a thread, but I couldn't really find my answers elsewhere. My questions are:

1. Is there any certain to make your Pokemon pick up extra Watts? You know, the ones it finds as gifts? Or are they just randomized?
2. Do you have any tips for gaining extra watts? My friend already has all of the Routes unlocked, which is odd considering how long it would take to gain Quiet Cave itself... So, I'm wondering if there is some special trick.

I'll shut this thread down if I find a Q an' A thread for the PokeWalker. Any help is appreciated.

1) I'm pretty sure there isn't, I'd have to double check on that, but a 90% no.
2) There are ways to `hack` it which makes it get steps without even walking, I would rather just use it normally...

I think you could have just asked these questions in the HG/SS help thread.

1. The Happier a Pokemon is, the greater the chance that it will find more Watts. (Got that from Serebii's Pokewalker page.)
2. I don't know of any efficient way to do so, other than walking a lot. You can shake the Pokewalker up and down to fake steps, but it takes longer than actually walking.

This would be the Q&A thread you were wondering about. =P

Pretty much answered already so going to close. On the 2nd point besides walking, you *could* I suppose attach it to a machine or something that makes it register steps instead, but you'd want to be careful that it doesn't break the PokeWalker, and it is the lazy way (and from the sounds of it what your friend did unless they did a few marathons. =P A rough calculation from someone was that it'd take 1000 miles of walking... not including spending, but not including bonus watts and idk how reliable it is from memory, but eh).

Anyways, any other questions use that Help thread. Thread closed.
