Has anyone messed up their pokewalker yet?

Today at work I guess I was leaning against the counter or something and my screen got cracked and it has a few deep scratches. It still works, though. What condition is yours?

Toxicroak March 31st, 2010 9:27 PM

mine fell out of my pocket when i was getting my wallet out, it hit the concrete but it only got a little scratch on the paint :S

PokéManiac Larry March 31st, 2010 9:41 PM

Mines still in perfect condition. I just clip it to the top of my pants when I'm working. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved in my job tho so I take it off when I get into the stockroom and put it in my pocket. Once I'm done getting furniture for customers I bring it back out. So far nothing has happened to it. Although I did drop it once or twice, I almost had a heart attack about it.

It would be cool if you could get different covers for it...so if one does get scratched You can just change the cover and its back to new

On Amazon I saw a bundle with the game and a pokewalker sleeve. They need to bundle it with some Pokewalker armor lol. I mean you can't buy these things without the game so they should take this kind of thing very seriously.

metalleg March 31st, 2010 10:00 PM

I lost mine today, I've only got it for a week and it only has about thirty thousand steps....
Luckily the Pokemon in there was a Slowpoke (and a Dive Ball I found with the Dowsing Machine...)
I have said the F word so many times now it doesn't sound bad anymore

PokéManiac Larry March 31st, 2010 10:05 PM

You can recover your Pokemon you know. You just go to the Pokewalker screen and hold/press up+select+r

Thanks for the info
I'll try that, but still...no Flying/Surfing Pikachu for me, and the Pokewalker was so damn new...I guess the only person to blame is me
I feel more depressed than losing a girlfriend (or am I sick..lol..?)

Eurydice March 31st, 2010 10:21 PM

nope both of mine are in really good condition. i have only used the one so far, the other is still in the box. i have been wanting to make something that will protect the screen but havent come up with any good ideas so far.

CrashSmAshley March 31st, 2010 10:24 PM

They should sell them separately. I am thankful mine isn't too bad and it still works fine and I can still see everything

Eurydice March 31st, 2010 10:27 PM

apparently there are these out in japan to protect them. dont know if they are out here or not though.

but i do agree they should sell replacements because they are going to break sometime.

Impo March 31st, 2010 10:34 PM

i've only had mine for 2 days and i kno i'll break it soon, im dropping it alot but only got a small scratch :P

A few days after I had it, I noticed it had some funky colors on the upper part of the screen. It looks kind of like how when you squeeze the screen of a calculator, those colors show up. It must of been from one day when I fell asleep, and it was clipped to my belt still.

There has been other times where I'll check it, and it says some thing like: "The pokemon got away."
And I think: "Ummm... what pokemon?"
I must have accidentally pressed some buttons when I leaned against it, lol.

Oh, I hate when that happens. I always think, "Great, ten watts wasted." D;

Dempa April 1st, 2010 12:09 AM

I already have one deep scratch right across my pokewalker screen.
Luckily my Soul Silver Pokewalker is still in perfect condition untouched :)

Kikaito plush April 1st, 2010 12:20 AM

luckily when we are not using them we left the on the bedroom shevles

curiousnathan April 1st, 2010 12:27 AM

I haven't but my sister sure nearly has! Phew I have been sweaitn over it for the past couple of days I have just recieved it. My sister nearly knocked it into the sink while my mum was washin the dishes and left it in her pocket and it nearly got washed! :O
I was so worried, it was like but Heart skipped a beat for a slipt second.
(*Shiver the though of it being washed..*) Haha..
But I dont use it much I am more into the game. Oddish are like the only pokemon that appear! >:P

dastandy April 1st, 2010 12:32 AM

you know i have one of those stretchable belts both of mine stay cliped on to that daily ive had them since they came out and both are perfectly fine. through i think if they did offer them seperately people would abuse it like crazy with like 20 or 30 registered to one game

Dapeacefulman April 1st, 2010 6:43 AM

mine are pretty good i actually strap them to my socks (registers the steps better) only a few unseeable scratches on the screen

Nikorasu April 1st, 2010 7:42 AM

Mines still perfect condition not one scratch :D

billios April 1st, 2010 8:31 AM

mines still perfect but my younger brother brought his to scouts with it clipped to his shoe... it was ruined by the end of the day

インフェルノの津波 April 1st, 2010 8:33 AM

Lost the battery, had to replace it.

Does that count?

ILoveDragonite April 1st, 2010 9:32 AM

CrashSmAshley April 1st, 2010 9:34 AM
