New Pokemon Snap?

They made so many remakes of the Pokemon Stadium games back then (Pokemon XD, XD Gale of Darkness, Battle Revolution), so why not?

Not to mention that Pokemon Snap was way better than Pokemon Stadium.

peteed April 2nd, 2010 3:54 PM

most fun pokemon game I ever played so its a no brainer

I bought a N64 recently just to play it again

if they make a Wii one I might buy a Wii purely for it alone :)

Sydian April 2nd, 2010 3:58 PM

It'd be a spin off so it can go there. -I moves da thred nao- Also, I'd love to see a Snap remake. That'd be lovely.

Lady Gaga April 2nd, 2010 4:09 PM

Cant you download it on the Wii now?

.hack April 2nd, 2010 4:14 PM

No. Nintendo should focus on other games Atm.

DXrobots April 2nd, 2010 4:33 PM

yes pokemon snap is one of my favs I've always wanted a sequel

Eurydice April 2nd, 2010 10:23 PM

i think it would be awesome to have a new pokemon snap game. but seeing as its been this long i doubt they ever will. but i would definitely buy it if they ever did.

Vergas April 2nd, 2010 11:33 PM

I'd like to see how a free roaming/off the rails one would work and if such a thing would suck or not...

but either way a pokemon snap remake would be quickly added to my games collection should it come out.

Stan the man April 2nd, 2010 11:38 PM

oh yea me too

I'd love it with the Wii controls too, like the camera positions and stuff would be controlled with it and that'd be really cool =) It'd be like your even MORE of a photographer now that you have even more control over your shots

Katie_Q April 3rd, 2010 3:31 AM

Was a good game. But I personally don't care wether it gets a sequel or not. They have the original for the wii on Wiiware or whatever don't they? I'll just get that when i have enough money.

Can we please refrain from talking about bodily fluids? kthx.

Anyway, since I didn't elaborate when I moved this thread here, I think it'd be nice to see some more courses, new photo techniques, and maybe they could add in an editor. You know...like a mini photoshop? XD Nothing too elaborate, but just something to make your pictures a little more personalized.

Koratah April 4th, 2010 5:39 AM

I've wanted a sequel for this since FOREVER!

..but imagine how long it'd take to make, with how many pokemon there are now..?

Wouldn't it be cool if you could go to all the regions and take pictures? :D and.. maybe more items to throw at pokemon?
Now I'm getting excited for something that'll never happen..

Pebblycone April 14th, 2010 6:48 PM

I always imagined what it would be like, playing it on the Wii.

xPsychosocial April 14th, 2010 6:57 PM

Yes, that'd be awesome. I love this game, I still play it now I bought in on the Wii's Virtual Console. It'd be cool if they did a sequel now because there's more Pokémon they could through more Pokémon into the mix and video game graphics have improved a lot since the 64's days imagine how the locations and the Pokémon could look. :D

countryemo April 14th, 2010 7:59 PM

OMG I usually don't post at this place, but I saw the title :p

I would love to see Pokémon Snap back, on the WII, I was late to the 64 games, once playing pokemon snap, i always hoped for more :)
Also a version on the dsi, using the camera feature??

JustinDestruction April 14th, 2010 7:59 PM

I'd love for that to happen! They would need to improve many things (mainly making the game longer, allowing photo sharing, and adding some new features plus tons of new Pokemon) but it could definitely work!

Yes a longer game would be very nice,
Photo sharing? Sound excellent.

Also I agree with a person above about photo customization (Mini Photoshop :p) and with wi-fi you can download other people's photo's?

ChrisTom April 14th, 2010 9:27 PM

Hmm... I just had an idea. The vehicle should change dpending on where you go. There should definitely be a Submarine course. A course for the beach. A course for a Savannah. Etc, Etc, Etc,. The land would be a Jeep-ish vehicle while the Water would be a Submarine/Boat. It wouldn't be on rails. In fact, before you go you decide how you want the course to go. The Wii remote would be held upside down horizontally, with the B-button facing to the left or right depending on your handedness. You would then move the D-pad or move the controller itself to move the camera, and B to take a picture. I like this idea. Pokemon Snap was one of my favorite games and I still have it today.

CrashSmAshley April 14th, 2010 10:56 PM

A Pokémon SNAP! remake would be cool. I like the idea of being able to go off of the tracks too. Kind of like a hunting game but with a camera.

Best Idea Ever.
It might be pretty hard to make, but they could have it, so it looks like pokemon are where you are, as an extra feature. For example, if you were in your room, mankeys could be jumping on your T.V.
Or Charmeleon and Pikachus darting around in your living room.
I hope you all understand what i actually mean by this, because i think it sounds awesome.
I'll try and explain it better.
Imagine you're on the photo channel on the dsi. You have the image you want to photo, a pokemon look slike it it there.
