I agree that Gigol- sorry, Ditto is pretty damned creepy. Why?
No matter who or what you may be... http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/b/bd/Spr_1b_132.png THAT could be your father! Or your mother!! |
Has to be Igglybuff.

The scariest pokemon in terms of real life would be... any ghost type pokemon :( Ghost Pokemon haunts you and make you suffer. In terms of game, I would say Arceus. Imagine you are walking by some Mountain (Coronat) and all of a sudder... A WILD ARCEUS APPEARED! ARCEUS USED JUDGEMENT! You know the rest, he is the 'god' of all pokemon after all. |

@ topic: Even though it has been already mentioned: Wigglytuff. That stare is even scarier than Weegees stare, I think. |

^ This one for sure. I wonder what Nintendo were thinking.. |
Giratina. I don't know about any of you, but discovering the Spring Path and Sendoff Springs scared the crap out of me. The music and everything. And how the fourth lake was kept secret? *shivers* The whole story/event surrounding Giratina was what scared me more, but whatever.

dunsparce. i swear, one day, the earth will start to shake. and people will see millions and millions of dunsparce popping out of the ground, and crush everything in their paths.
i can easily see dunsparce taking over the world =P |
Gengar, in my opinion.
It has those eyes that says I want to kill you and the smile like it is going to kill you D: |
Kingler and ditto;
Kingler, because I was bitten snipped by a crab when I was six D; and Ditto, becuase it can transform into anything :\ ... Also Dittos creepy face in the first Pokemon series episode it starred in. |

|
Hands down.
Jynx Just has to be Jynx. |
'M
That thing can ruin your game if you ever happen to accidently appear across it. Otherwise, i agree with all of the above. (Except for Igglybuff) I love Igglybuff! (check my signature and tell me you can defeat that) |
missingno's ghost form, its the eyes...they're watching you...
|
Some Pokemon that creeped me out and/or gave me nightmares in my childhood:
Gengar, Electabuzz, & Elekid. I still find Gengar kind'a creepy, with those red eyes and all. As far as sprites go, Exeggutor from the original games. http://www.smogon.com/download/sprites/rb/103.png |
regirock. he's not scary in the game, but just imagine if he took a stroll through your neighborhood at night...the ground would shake...he'd be making those low grunting sounds...his eyes(or whatever those braille dots are) would be lit up...
|
Hypno is pretty damn creepy. He steals children and has a generally creepy face..

It's very self-explanatory. |
Trapinch scares me. Look at those beady little eyes, just creepy.
|
Well... every Pokemon really, provided we're on about Green Version's sprites.
It really depends how they're drawn on whether they're even scary at all; I've got a nice image set with all Pokemon up to gen 2 drawn in traditional Japanese painting style and some are proper freakish, and burly ones like Ursaring would be mighty intimidating to encounter. I'm sure if Pokemon were real, we wouldn't have children combating them, since even ignoring their appearances, many of the older ones' original dex entry descriptions are quite sinister. Kinda amusing that using the Sylph scope just reveals the ghost to be pretty much a similarly ghastly creature, which funnily enough is conveniently named Ghastly. I'll go with Missingno personally, I can just imagine this giant hyperdimensional abomination beyond human comprehension that warps the fabric of space wherever it moves and so on so forth. I know it's not a real Pokemon, but come on, it's awesome. |
Just look at it.
http://pokemon.marriland.com/images/dp/front-n/124-2.png It's the kind of thing the creatures in your nightmares have nightmares about. |
Definitely Metagross.
It's like a crab monster from the mirror universe! |
