Is there an easier way to catch Latios? (Soulsilver)
I've been trying for the last half hour to catch latios, and it's really irritating me, first of all it takes forever to come to you, then when you encounter it, it runs away before you even attack it! I thought Raikou and Entei was the last time I had to deal with this crap, latios is even harder.

Either:
1. Use a Master Ball. 2. Use a Pokemon that has the ability Arena Trap or Shadow Tag. 3. Use Block, Mean Look or Spider Web. Otherwise, you're pretty much forced to chase it around. |
Get smoe pokes with mean look, thunder wave and false swipe.
Go figure. There's no easy way, unless of course you use the Master Ball. |
Or...
...Put a Sneasel in front, use Ice Shard (Ice punch is too strong) until you think it can be False Swiped...so, about 2 encounters. If you attach a Choice Scarf your False Swipe will be fast enough. ..then, after false swipe....you could have a lv.1 munchlax (slowest pokemon I can think of) out in front, then use a fast ball. |
Yeah, the above techniques are pretty good to try when it comes to Pokémon that run around the region(s). If you're having that much difficulty though and really want to catch it, then the Master Ball is always there for you, considering you haven't used it yet. Other than that you just have to keep trying your luck. ;)
