Adventures in Beklan (Version 2)
Adventures in Beklan (Version 2)
SPOTS ARE NOW CLOSED Rated PG 15/16 Plot Information: Established trainers, Josephine Harris, Rachel Savina and Katie Emerson, were originally born and bred in Pallet Town, Pewter City and Riana (and later New Bark) Town of the Kanto and Pharaohonia/Johto regions. They were successful in defeating the evil syndicates of Team Rocket and Johto Destroyers at the age of fifteen in the year 2013, with the help of their partners — Arthur Regan, Damien Shadowlore and Adrian Swiftbreeze. Four years after that was when the six trainers married each other and they moved to the newly discovered region of Beklan, the landmass of which had only been discovered after Sinnoh had been rebuilt. They did this because Professor Banksia, the Beklanite researcher, died of old age. The three couples boarded the S.S. Oceania, which was headed to Cheltin Town, after saying goodbye to their families. The fiancés had thought their move through very carefully and ultimately decided it was for the best. Arriving at Cheltin Town a few days later, they were surprised to learn that the town was quite small. Settling down and making themselves at home in Valeria City proved a bit difficult at first, but they grew used to it. The first part of the region, starting at Cheltin Town, is a rather diminutive township flanked by the open ocean to its south, rugged mountains to the west and a crest of hills which marks the entrance to Route 401. Notable points of interest include the cave of ice at the back of Leviathan City, which is full of Ice type Pokémon; Asobibi City (to Harbour Town’s north), which has a dormant volcano and tons of Fire Pokémon; High Beklan Desert, between Bayside and Moroi cities, is the home of Ground Pokémon and various other types; Moroi itself, home to a cemetery and Ghost Pokémon; the Rocky Corridor; Windfall Town, where the breeze is a constant storm; Lava Cave, residing place of Fire types; Ice Valley, enough said; Zenith City, home to the royal family; and finally, Vegas City, the location of the Beklan Pokémon League. The next thing the Pokémon League had to do was to recruit Gym Leaders. They will be brand new. They all have Pokémon that can accommodate to their positions, so it made no difference. They have new Gym badges as well. None have seen who the League Champion is, and many strive to know. That, supposedly, is a mystery that the new trainers of the Beklan region will have to find out. If you were wondering, yes, that is where you will come in. The announcement has been made by Professor Arthur Regan and it was broadcast over all of the regions. There will be six new Pokémon trainers for this region, simply because of the vastness. As an heir of a prophecy, you are a Ka’ch — a Chosen One. These humans would be born with two very important traits, one physical and one ingrained into their personality. The Ka’ch would be brought to earth with the purest hearts of all humans. Also when they were born; they would be bestowed with a mark. This brand would be called their Sa’je. This marking would connect them to one of the legendary creatures. Rules: 1. No god-modding or bunnying, thanks. 2. Respect your fellow RPers and me. 3. Proper grammar, please. It’s the key to my happiness with your posts. 4. Being active is vital. Expect a new chapter often. I’m not letting this die. 5. If you find a rare item (i.e. a TM/hold item), you can post that you found the item but not specifically what it is. I will then decide what the item is and inform you. 6. Everyone, please note I will be reasonable with shiny posts. If I think the post isn't good enough then the Pokémon will break out and flee; this can’t be over-ruled by an RPer. If the post is nearly good enough, I might give you a second chance at the shiny, but if the second post is short then once again it will flee. Also, it will be an absolute maximum of 1 shiny per RPer, this isn’t open for discussion. 7. Other than that, just follow the basic forum rules and keep it PG 15/16. 8. Reservations are allowed. Creativity is key, and I personally think that everyone could use a little more! BUT! You don't have to. However, if you don't, I will do it for you, and you will have to live with it. Sorry, it's not meant to be rude... but if you don't feel like designing your own town, then I won't feel like changing it when you disagree. If I am forced to make it, that is how it will stay. Once again, sorry. Gameplay: The RP will start when I have accepted people for all of the slots, as it will save the confusion of having different players at different points. I won't play in this RP, as I'm the GM of this RP. I will play as certain NPCs. For example, I'll be Professor Arthur Regan, and other special NPCs. I'll also set up the areas where you'll explore. I will set up each area before you write your posts for that section. In that post I will specify which Pokémon you will be able to catch etc. Also I make the decision if you catch the wild Pokémon or not. Basically, you can fight the wild Pokémon, up until the point you throw the Poké Ball. You will stop your post there and I will decide if you were successful or not depending on the quality of your post. Also, the better the quality of the battle post, the higher the level of the Pokémon you catch. Once most people have made their posts for the area, I will move on and set up the next area. Happy RPing. Extra Information: — I will give you move sets/level/nature/etc. after you’ve done the SU. — Remember, a new chapter at LEAST once a week. — You will be provided with information on each city when I post a new chapter with said city in it. — Trainer cards are necessary. — That is all. |
Trainer Name: Lukas Aleph
Age: 22 Gender: Take a wild guess... Appearance: Black hair that spikes backward, tanned skin and coffee brown eyes that bear a lazy look. Wears a green and black accented sweater and blue denim trousers. Sneakers match his sweater. Region You Hail From: Johto History: Lukas hails from New Bark Town and left home at the age of fourteen to become a trainer, with a Cyndaquil in tow. Together, Lukas captured a Growlithe and Houndour, evolving the former during the duration of his travels. After obtaining eight badges needed to participate in the silver Conference, Lukas tried to win the Johto League conference title but failed to progress past the second round. Lukas then traveled to Corei and after obtaining Slugma and evolving it to Magcargo, competed in the Trigello Competition with his team of Fire types and fared much better there, ranking in the top four trainers at the final tournament. He then moved on to Hoenn where he obtained Sableye and Numel and tried to take on Flannery for her position as Gym leader, yet lost narrowly. He left with no ill will. and spent his third season challenging many Ground and Water type specialists to improve his team's capabilities to deal with types they were weak against. He then came to Beklan and after some gruelling training, took up the role of Asobibi City Gym leader, which he has maintained for the past three years. Personality: Usually laconic and dull. Also tends to moan about being bored and how much trouble something will be, even battles. Your Team of Pokémon: Quilava, Houndour, Arcanine, Magcargo, Numel. He also owns a Sableye he doesn't use for battles. Your Gym of Choice: Asobibi City Sample post: Yawn... so you're the next challenger? Man, this will be a drag... well, let's get this done with! Hmm... this is getting interesting... Last Pokemon... Hunh? Is it over? Well, looks like you got me. Maybe I should be more passionate about battling. Ah, well... them's the breaks. I'd like to try you on again sometime later. It's a pain, but I gotta get tougher for that match... This OK? Will work towards the trainer card later... |
O.O This looks like it has had a HUGE dose of improvement since version one,
soooooo..... Mind if i reserve a spot? Name: Jason Stax (A brand new character I assure you.) Age: 16 Gender: Ehmmmm...*Looks Down* Male... Legendary: Deoxys ('Nuff said) Appearance: Standing at a height of 6’11, Jason is used to looking down on most people through his long black hair. He has a menacing look that “Can halt a stampeding tauros.” He has dark green eyes that have a brown sunburst around the pupil. His nose and cheeks are liberally coated with freckles. He has the beginning of a moustache coming along, but it is usually shaven away. Jason has a small scar running from the corner of his right eye to his lower lip. It is very faint, and it is generally not noticed. Jason’s wardrobe is very punk or gothic. He has dark skinny tee-shirts that usually have obscene designs on them. He has ripped jeans that have patchwork designs on them that lead to a pair of solid black high tops. Jason has two stainless steel bracelets that are chain link styled. He has a charm on each, a sword with an entwined snake on the left, and a cross on the right. Jason also has a winged skull tattoo on his right bicep. Personality: To describe Jason as Happy-go-lucky would be false. Jason is a naturally dark person. He enjoys other people’s pain, and he hates his own. Jason is not a people person, and he tends to ignore the overly peppy people. He goes through life as if he’s wearing sunglasses, setting a dark gaze on things. He believes that the good things in life are overrated, and that no one gives enough credit to the bad. His view on life is skewed, in the way that he believes that there should be perfect balance between light and dark. This is why he wears his gothic styled clothes; he believes that the darkness is outmatched. In a way this could be considered to be a religious view, but since it doesn’t have a name, he considers himself to be an Athiest. Jason loves to fight. Whether it be boxing, fencing, paintball, pokemon battles, or just brawling, Jason enjoys taking out his anger in this way. He doesn’t care if he wins or loses, so long as he gets to bludgeon his opponent a bit. Without fighting, Jason would probably end up exploding in anger on someone. With fighting, Jason is like wet gunpowder. Without fighting, he’s like a mercury tilt bomb; the slightest nudge can cause him to explode. He has a few other hobbies such as drawing and listening to music, but for the most part fighting is it. History: Jason hails from the region of Johto, and he has lived in Goldenrod for most of his life. He was born in olivine while his parents were on vacation, and they didn’t move back until Jason was about one month old. His parents began moving back to Goldenrod, pausing at small towns and inns on the way. They hit all the major tourist traps, such as the miltank farm, and the burned tower. When they cut through the national park, they were attacked by a scyther that had been stocked for the bug-catching competition. The Scyther got past Jason’s parents and slashed him on the face from the eye to the chin. Jason’s dad sent out a Electivire and defeated the scyther. When Jason turned 2, his sister Lorie was born. Jason was curious, after all, he had never seen a baby before. When he peered into her cradle for the first time, she screamed loudly and Jason ran away, repulsed by the noises emanating from her mouth. Jason was annoyed by his sister more and more as she grew older, and when she turned 2, the twins Jalie and Spike were born. Jason couldn’t stand their loud cries, so he tried to spend as much time away from them as possible. By the time Jason was six, he was a little square of angst, and the girls were little balls of sunshine. Spike was calm and adventurous, getting into trouble a lot. Jason ran from his home at the age of 10, and he made his way into Azalea town. He lived there for about a month, until an officer Jenny found him and took him home. When he got home he was scolded, and he was not allowed to leave the house. When Jason turned 14, he got into his first fight. It happened at school, and afterwards Jason felt completely relaxed. This is how he got into fighting, and afterward he introduced Jalie to it. Life was fairly uneventful from the age of 15 to 16, until he found out about the Beklan Region. Starter choice: Elekid and Magby Extra: Gasp! O.O *Points toward AD thread* I don't have much time to be on, so I'll try to finish it later. |

Glad to see ya back. Hopefully this RP doesn't die on you like the last couple ones
Name: Sara Armsman Age: 17 Gender: Female Legendary: Suicune Appearance: Sara is around 5 feet high and 4 inches tall. She has a slime build and body covered with white, slightly freckaled skin. Her head is heart shaped with crimson eyes. Her hair is long, going past her shoulder blades, and a light brown in color. Sara has put a few golden streaks in through her hair. She has a scar running down her collar bone to her left armpit. Sara usually wears a plain blue t-shirt with a dark gray vest. On the back of the vest is the outline of a running dog. She also has one a pair of dark blue jeans with some silver flames on the cuffs. Her shoes are a white, tennis shows with some blue lines running along it. Sara also has on a few, multicolored bracelets on her right rists and a single black sweat band on her left wrist. She has on a ring with a faux sapphire in it and a choker with a Sharpedo's tooth on it. Lastly, she has a birthmark like that of an enlongated, purple diamond with two white wavey lines coming off of it. Personality: Sara has a very cold personality to those who don't really try to get to know her. She usually only gives one word answers and does everything she can to get away from the person as soon as she possibly can. She also doesn't really look at people, especially in the eye. Of course, Sara really doesn't do much to try to get people's attention. She also doesn't go out of her way to try to get to know people. In fact, Sara doesn't have much trust on people on a whole and does everything she can to avoid them. She can actually get pretty angry if someone forces themselves on her too much. However, she is a decent person if you can get to know her a bit and get her to say more then a couple words to you. Of course, Sara makes damn sure that no one gets too close to her. This can make her seem like a loner, yet you can usually count on her to come to a dance or a party or a concert or some other social event. She doesn't interact much but she seems to enjoy those kind of things. She also seems some what intelligent, what with all of the books she reads. Some people have even said that she can talk quite passionately about things (though this is of course rare). Sara is also known to help out weaker Pokemon if they are injured or even just help people with little jobs. History: Sara grew up on the very small Four Island. Her father was an over sea merchant who was always off to the other reigions. Her mother is a lawyer who also is almost never at home. The girl spent most of her childhood with just moving around her house and, pretty much, hanging out with her nanny. In fact, the old woman from Jhoto pratically raised the young Sara. She taught Sara about different books, music and, most importantly, Pokemon. The nanny, who had gone on a few Pokemon adventures in her youths, and taught Sara all about the different types and battle stradgey. The nanny would often quiz the growing girl on everything she taught her. Sara's parents didn't exactly approve of what the old woman was doing, but she was a good house cleaner and they didn't want to bother with changing things around. Because of this, Sara always dreamed about going on her own Pokemon Adventure. Catching Pokemon, battling Gyms, making friends, it just all seem so great. But then she turned 12 and the old nanny died of a heart attack. Right away Sara's parents got a much more serious nanny and did their best to put this Pokemon thing to rest. Though Sara became more closed off, she never gave up on her dream. She got a couple eggs from the Day Care Couple and hatched them into the two starters she has now. When these Pokemon where born, and after a feirce argument with her parents, she finally was able to get going on her Pokemon Journey. Her parents sent her to this new Beklan reigion, hoping that she would be able to maybe discover something that would at least make her famous. Little do they know, that something much more was goingt o happen. Starter choice: Valerie the Sentrent and Azure the Riolu. Extra: Sara sat against the boat's railing, her feet on the lower railings. Her body was to the deck and her face was to the the fastly approaching landing across the decreasing body of water. She heard a faint chirp and felt a very furry body run up her legs and curl up on her lap. Sara smiled and turned her head to the Sentrent curled up on her lap. She sighed a bit and gently petted the Scout Pokemon's soft fur. "We're almost there, Valerie," Sara said, once more looking towards the land of Beklan. "Soon, we can do what I promised Nanny when I was a girl. I'm going to go on an adventure, and damn those who get in my way." Valerie muttered something and twisted her body slightly, much like a cat's, so that she was facing upwards. Sara sighed again, then a cold, powerful blasted at her. Sara moved a hand up to block the wind from getting to her eyes and just focused on her destination. |

Haha. Charzeon, you beat me to it. I was just about to tell him that. Short SUs drive me berserk. |
Trainer Name: Ryuusei Fudou
Age: 18 Gender: Male Legendary: Mew Appearance: 1.Ryuusei has short spikey black hair, that looks simular to that of the main protagonist from the anime Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's. (Google Fudou Yusei, and that's Ryuusei's hair style, just all black with out the yellow streaks) 2.Ryuusei normally wears a completely black colored t-shirt, and over the t-shirt he tends to wear his small dark blue jacket, along with his dark gray trousers. 3.Ryuusei wears black boots, and he is always wearing black fingerless gloves. 4.Ryuusei is light skinned complexion, with serious red eyes. Region You Hail From: Masara Town History: Ryuusei started his journey in Masara town, located in western Kanto at the age of 10. Everyone knows when you've become 10 years old, your eligible to become a Pokemon Trainer. Ryuusei lived in Masara Town all of his life, and he waited patiantly to become a Pokemon Trainer. When Ryuusei was 6, he had always dreamed of becoming the next Pokemon Master, like any kid would dream of at that age, but Ryuusei was different. Ryuusei knew that it would take extreme responsibility to achieve that goal, at such a young age. Prof.Okido had started Ryuusei off with his first pokemon, which happened to be a Bulbasaur, and Prof.Okido always had great thoughts about Ryuusei becoming the next best trainer around Kanto. A day later Ryuusei was ready to start his journey with his Bulbasaur. Ryuusei had found a potion hidden under his bed, that he had saved since he was 8, as he then placed it into his pack, and left out of his room. He said his goodbyes to everyone he knew in Masara Town, as he smiled a little. Ryuusei had stocked up on 5 empty pokeballs, thanks to Prof.Okido, and a town map, thanks to Ryuusei's female neighbor, 1 extra potion, thanks to a nearby merchant who was just in town to see Ryuusei off, 1 antidote, thanks to Prof.Okido's lab assistant, and 1 paralyze heal, thanks to Prof.Okido's other lab assistant. Ryuusei's pack was set, and he always kept his Bulbasaur out of his pokeball, to show it respect. Ryuusei leaves Masara Town, and waves goodbye to all of his friends. Ryuusei said in his mind that he would promise to return, oneday... Ryuusei walks in tall grass, and not even 5 minutes has passed for his journey, and he is attacked by a flying Pidgey at full speed, knocking Ryuusei down. Ryuusei doesn't panic, and gets back up as he looks over at his Bulbasaur who seems like he wants to fight for Ryuusei. Ryuusei commands Bulbasaur to use vine whip on the airbourne Pidgey, as it connected due to Bulbasaur's vines being very long. The Pidgey fell to the ground out of energy, indicating that it had fainted. Ryuusei grabs a pokeball from out of his bag, and throws it at the weakened Pidgey, as the pokeball nudged 3 times, then stopped, indicating that Ryuusei just caught his first pokemon as he noded. Ryuusei had walked over to the Pidgey with, as he then petted his Bulbasaur saying good job my friend, and picked up the pokeball. This started the beginning of a new adventure for Ryuusei and Bulbasaur. It has been 8 years since Ryuusei first became a trainer, and he was now 18 with his Venusaur, and Pidgeot. Ryuusei decides to return back to Masara Town for a visit. Personality: Ryuusei has a calm/quiet personaility. Ryuusei never talks much, and he loves to observe everything when others don't even realize it. Ryuusei is the comeplete opposite of a cocky pokemon trainer. Ryuusei is reserved, and he often treats his pokemon like real partners. Ryuusei believes as long as a pokemon exists, any pokemon has the power to win. Ryuusei despises the impatiant trainers, those who be little pokemon, and he often gives lectures to those who don't understand the extent of pokemon. Ryuusei often grins, like he's being chased by someone annoying, but deep down he's really a nice person once you get to know him. Ryuusei is gentle, and he has a natural charisma that allows him to befriend any person, or pokemon at first sight. Ryuusei's strong points are pokemon battling, and persuading trainers not to be little pokemon. Your Team of Pokémon: 1.Bulbasaur ---> Ivysaur ---> Venusaur (The powerhouse) 2.Pidgey ---> Pidgeotto ---> Pidgeot (Often used for travel) Your Gym of Choice: (first come, first serve!) ---> (N/A) Sample post: (must be at least 2-4 paragraphs, with 3-5 sentences a piece!) ---> (N/A) |
Trainer Name: Dat Le
Age: 16 Gender: Male Legendary: Raikou (Dat may be a gym leader, but he is also a Ka'ch, remove all the "Chosen one stuff" if you don't like it) Appearance: Dat Le is a lumbering tall figure. He wears a leather wrist band on his left arm, as if hiding something (His Sa'je). His brownish hair is combed straight down, covering his black eyes. Though he spends most his time in the gym, he has a great tan, covering his entire body. A bone protrudes the wrist that isn't covered. Dat wears a purple sweater, with a hood that he all ways keeps on his head. Under that sweater is a black shirt, and a gold chain. Baggy black shorts are worn down to his knees. His pokeballs are kept inside his sweater pocket, but occasionally fall out. There are old worn blue converse shoes on his feet, which have the letters F on one, and B on the other. What they mean, no one knows. There are black horn rimmed shades, which he wears, but will often take them off when battling, only for his view to be obscured by his long hair. Region You Hail From: Hoenn (yep, not Johto, or Kanto, I want to be original) History: Dat Le, was born into poverty in , with a father he has never known. When he was born, his doctor told his mother he felt he seems "special", but she laughed, still telling him what happened at his birth. He first decided to become a trainer when he was five, and he saw a strange yellow Pokemon, standing on it's hind legs during a raging storm. At the age of ten, he received his first Pokemon, a Treecko which he received from Professor Birch, he calls it Gouki, after the Street Fighter character. He quickly caught his first Pokemon, a Lotad, which he had dubbed, Jorge. Not to long after capturing Jorge, he caught his Seedot, Steve, and Shroomish, Mouschi. He had a great start, however, he was defeated by Flannery, and couldn't go on. He quit training Pokemon until he received a beeper message from the Belkan League, requesting he'd be a gym leader. They tested him, and he passed. Personality: Dat is usually outgoing, however, his speech is fractal. He likes winning, and will usually verbally attack his Pokemon in order to "motivate" them a little. Being the type of person he is, Dat will also taunt the opponent trainer, if he makes a seemingly wrong decision. He wins often, but he gets cocky, and that is his downfall. Badges are often won from him. Dat Le will often make rash decisions. He will send out weaker Pokemon simply to taunt the other trainer, but will often send out his outrageously powerful starter Pokemon, Sceptile, making most trainers in tears, because their journeys ended before they've even started. Never the less, he will often go easy on young trainers, giving out many badges. He is much like his Ludicollo, lazy, but not to be vexed with. So he'll win most the time, still wondering about his Sa'je, but hiding it from passing challengers. Your Team of Pokémon: Here descriptions which may be unnecessary, of Pokemon Dat may use, but sometimes won''t, depending wether or not there's a box feature: Spoiler:
If there isn't, and Dat's the first gym leader: Spoiler:
Your Gym of Choice: Leavane City, here's a description, in the form of prose: Dat walks into the City of Leavane, and gasps at the sights. There are four yellow apricorn trees, two own each side of a gate. He walks through the town, the first buildings are a Poke Mart at the left, and a Pokemon Center on the right. Setting next to each a a line of houses on a street dubbed "Meadows Avenue" He reaches the gym, which is surrounded by many vines. It's in messes, spinarak webs line the place, and Dat sighs to himself "I have to do something..." He uses his Gym leader funding to completely renovate the gym, the garden, once full of vines, is now a plum orchard. The once dirty gym, is now a completely new building, with clean walls, making the shape of a bulbasaur bulb. The inside of the gym looks like lush grassland. The gym puzzle is a hedge maze, with spikes that open every other minute, a trainer guards a set of spikes, turning them off, every time he/she is defeated. The spikes of course may be removed, or even changed, into something less...likely to kill the player. Sample post: "So, you want to get a Root Badge right?" Dat wipes his hand on his mouth and continues speaking "Well, lets battle then. Go! Paras!" Generic Trainer #1 sends out a pidgey. Dat immediately responds "Wow, a pidgey, that reminds me so much... enough with the nostalgia, Paras, use bullet seed!" A flurry of seeds fly from paras' mouth. The Pidgey becomes pelted with bullet seed, but quickly gets up. Generic Trainer commands pidgey "Zippa, use gust attack!", and pidgey flaps its' wings at a tremendous force. A whirlwind forms and hits Dat's paras. "Damn it Paras! Alright, get up. It's okay, you'll do okay. Use fury swipes!" Generic trainer is unflustered, "Pidgey, use gust again!", and so pidgey flaps its wings, and blows paras straight to the wall. Paras, pushes off the wall, and used an absorb attack. Pidgey, had its energy drained, it lays down, unable to battle, paras wins the match. Generic Trainer #1 says "Return! Well, go! Rocko!" The generic trainer throws a dusk ball, and out of it comes a geodude. Dat lets out a sigh "don't you know that grass types are strong against rock? Paras, go teach him a lesson and use absorb." Geodude used a rock throw attack. It crumbles from the absorb attack. Paras quickly dodges the attack, and uses another absorb, and Geodude retaliates by using another rock throw. They go at it for two hours until paras runs out of PP, and it becomes crushed under a large boulder. "Well paras, you did your best, now take a rest. Fine boy, you want to mess with me? Come on, let's go. Oddish, go teach this noob a lesson" an oddish flies out excitedly from a nest ball "Oddish, use an absorb attack!" Geodude had its energy drained, it lays on the floor a while, then immediately gets up. "Geodude, fight it off! Use rock polish, then tackle attack!" Geodude did as it was told, but missed oddish. Oddish used a sweet scent attack. Rocko's evasiveness fell. Oddish used another absorb, and Rocko crumbles. "Damn it, return Rocko. Go, Flamy!" Out of a shiny Poke Ball comes a charmander "Use ember!" sparks of flame come from charmander's mouth. Oddish runs around on fire and passes out. Well, since this is a three on three, and I've only two Pokemon left, and you're a new trainer, I'll use a new Pokemon against you. Alright spinarak, go on, use string shot!" Charmander throws an ember at it. "Alright spinarak, I've an idea, jump on the fire detector" Charmander used another ember on spinarak, triggering the fire alarms, setting off the security sprinkler, dousing charmanders' flame, almost to dimming. Dat cheers wildly. Generic Trainer #1 commands his charmander to use a metal claw. Spinarak attempts to dodge, but is now tied in its' own web. Generic Trainer #1 is the winner. "Well, I guess you earned it. Here, the Grove Badge, and TM 22; solar beam, it allows you to charge and fire your lazers. Use it wisely. With the Grove Badge, Pokemon up to level 30, even traded pokemon, will obbey you without question, have fun." Note:The Grove badge looks like a tree. |

Okay, people. That's the OOC thread, let's keep OOC discussion to that, shall we? |
Sounds interesting... Darn it! I'm not the only one who likes Rayquaza! ;)
Name: Cain Garnett Age: 17 Gender: Male Legendary: Palkia Appearance: At 6' 3" in height, weighing 180 pounds in muscle, its not surprising that most people prefer to fight Cain's pokemon instead of Cain himself. Spiky crimson hair matches the red-hued t-shirts he often wears. Dark brown eyes contrast with his ever so faintly tanned skin. Cain wears a leather necklace decorated with small sea shells around his neck, a gift from his younger sister Leanne. A bizarre mark on his right shoulder blade creates an intricate patterns of lines surrounding a pearl white circle. (his Sa'je?) Be warned: anyone who brings up the birthmark recieves an incredibly irritated Cain in return. Region of origin: Orre (I feel like being a non-conformist today...) Personality: Cain is only human, and as such, he has his faults. He's short-tempered, impatient, rash, unruly, stubborn... need I say more? Despite this, Cain has SOME redeeming traits. His undeniable loyalty towards his friends, strong sense of justice (coupled with a merciful side) and a surprising amount of respect for those who earn it balance out his negative traits. Background: Cain was born and bred in Phenac city. Cain lived alongside his middle class family, consisting of a father who not only trained but also bred pokemon; a stay-at-home mom; and his beloved sister. Like many other youths of his age, Cain was fascinated by pokemon; however, he recieved all of his pokemon-related knowledge, even his starter pokemon from his dad. Unfortunately, being the "helicopter parent" that Richard Garnett was, he refused to give Cain his first pokemon until he was 14. On Cain's 14th birthday, Cain recieved a young female Totodile, which he promptly named Blue (no joke. I honestly named a female Totodile Blue, after a character from Wolf's Rain). This was by far the happiest day of his life. Seeing that Phenac city is surrounded by the desert, it isn't surprising that his second pokemon was a female Trapinch named Cynder. Cain has been raising the pair ever since. Pokemon team: Totodile (Blue), Trapinch (Cynder) Rp sample: Cain smiled in an almost threatening manner at the trainer standing before him. "If it's a fight you want, I'd be happy to oblige..." He had found this punk harassing his younger sister, Leanne, in the an empty lot behing Phenac city's town hall. Being the over protective sibling he was, Cain was at her side in an instant. Cain's opponent looked at him uncertainly, before glancing at the petite, blonde girl hiding behind her older brother for protection. He looked back at Cain, concern crossing his face. Judging by the size of him, it was obvious that picking a fight with Cain was NOT the wisest idea. "Erm... you know, I actually have somewhere to be right now, so I--" "-If you've got enough time to harass my sis, then you've got plenty of time for a pokemon battle," Cain replied, cutting off his foes excuse. Grabbing two pokeballs from his pocket, Cain tossed them lazily into the air. Out of the pokeballs materialized a small Totodile and a Trapinch. Seeing the two pokemon, the other trainer gave a relieved look. And all this time he had assumed that Caih wanted a fist. Grabbing his own pokeballs, the trainer unleashed a spearow and a koffing. "Spearow, use peck! Koffing, smog!" Cain smiled at the offense attempt. "Alright Blue. Use rage!" The crocodile pokemon responded in and instant, enduring Spearow's attack before retaliating with added force. Meanwhile, koffing's smog attack hit the trapinch, surrounding her in a thick fog. "Cynder! Use sandstorm, followed by your bite attack!" Immediately, Koffing's smog attack was blown away by trapinch's sandstorm. While koffing was blinded by sand, Cynder clamped her jaws around it, refusing to let go until it's foe collapsed. The spearow struggled to it's feet, obviously injured from Blue's attack. "Finish it off with water gun," Cain commanded. A jet of water hit the spearow square in the chest, thanks to Blue's sharp aim. As soon as the battle had started, it was over. Cain's opponent flec the scene, carrying two unconscious pokemon with him. As soon as his adversary was gone, Cain turned to Leanne, a concerned look crossing his face. "Are you alright? What happened?" Leanne stared at her feet. "The man found a wild houndoom in one of the allies. When he tried to catch it, I scared it away by accident. Then he got real mad and started yelling at me.us I was real scared, but then you showed up and helped me, so its all ok now." Leanne wrapped her small arms around her brother's waist. "Thanks for saving me!" Cain gave her a warm smile. "No problem! What are siblings for? Now let's get you home before mom and dad start to worry..." Can I finish later. I'm posting from a Wii right now and I honestly don't know how long I'll have before the Wi-fi goes down again... |

Name:
Klark (Yes, it’s spelled that way) Green Gender: Pretty sure I’m a guy (Male) Age: 16 (What do I look like?) Appearance: Klark is a middle sized, dark skinned male. He wears a frizzy mow hawk, and a short Mr. T styled beard to go with it. He has snow cloth on. There is a gold chain visible on around his neck, but still in his shirt. Personality: Klark, is a cold killer, at heart. He will take down anything, if he is angered. He still has a place in his heart, for whatever’s weaker than he is, and will show mercy, if necessary. He speaks ebonics. History: Klark comes from a beach house in CianWood. He was born in his home, after a massive hurricane. At the age of eight he was out swimming, out of no where, a huge storm. All of a sudden, a silver beast flew out of the water, Klark was drowning. The day later, he found himself in his home, claiming to be saved by the previously described creature. Knowing this, he’s had an affinity for water Pokémon. Being the only one around with his skin color, he was often made fun of, and because of this, hates most white-skinned people, until they prove themselves innocent, and not a threat, but of course still trusting to other gym leaders. When he was thirteen, Klark decided to become a Pokémon trainer. He took a boat travelling to New Bark town, meeting his starter Pokémon, Tito, now a fierce, Feraligator. He defeated the Johto gyms easily, but lost in the tournament, coming in as top on top sixteen (sound familiar). He later tried the Kanto region, which were even easier with his even stronger team of already experienced Pokémon. He decided to become a gym leader of the Beklan region, after seeing a news broadcast, and thinking “I want to see this place”. Along the way, he caught numerous water and ice type Pokémon, later becoming the gym leader of Leviathan City. Home Town: CianWood, Johto Choice Gym: Leviathan City The building is seemingly built entirely out of ice, in a cone shape. There is a large slope a few feet away from the entrance, leading to a metal door, where you fight Klark. Pokémon Party: Quagsire, Gyarados, Pelipper, Seaking, Lanturn, Feraligator Sample Post: There is a knock on the door. “Come in, it’s open” said Klark. The door opens, and there stood a very light skinned male, wearing a scarf, and a beanie. “Naw (meaning no), Aw (meaning I) pity da (meaning the) foo (meaning fool) who walk in maw (meaning my) gym (the Y is exaggerated), demandin’ a badge” Klark stated. “But I need this badge, or else I can’t get into the Pokémon League!” The trainer throws a Poke Ball containing a Monferno. Klark sends out his Pelipper. “You win, two on two battle, I’ll start, so Gully, use ice beam, and aim at his tail!” Pelipper shot a beam of ice at Monferno’s tail, stopping its movement. “No, Monk! Use flame thrower!” The trainer shouted. Monferno used a flame thrower, which had little effect, as Pelipper is a water type. Gully used a water gun, fainting Monferno. “No, Monferno, don’t die on me!” he sobs “Return. Go, Pikachu!” Pikachu shot a thunder bolt at the already weakened Pelipper, making it fall the the ground. Pelipper, in retaliation, shot an ice beam. Pikachu, dodged it, and used a quick attack, fainting Pelliper. Klark later sends out a Quagsire. Pikachu used a thunder bolt, which had no effect on Quagsire. “Quagmire, use mud shot, and send it flying!” Quagsire did as it was commanded, Pikachu had been hit, seeming pained. “You know what? Let’s make it three on three” suggested Klark, later being protested by the trainer saying “But I’m gonna win!” “That’s not what it looks like” “Oh yeah?” “Look at your Pikachu” “Pika, return! Go, Gloom!” Out of a Poke ball came an oddly colored, green Gloom. It exclaimed, and used giga drain, dealing excellent damage on Quagsire, fainting it. Klark sends out a big strong hardy Seaking “Joe, use Horn Drill, and immediately follow up with a hydro pump!” Gloom faints quickly after the hydro pump. “Too bad, (can I use racial terms?) yo could've won this, da Aurora Badge, yo need dis ta be in da league aight'? Tell ya what, I'ma give you a rematch, and I'll even give you one a' dese ere' TMs I've found in da basement a dig?" |
Kid Ghandi: You are in. Well done with the description.

I'd like to reserve Dark. SU up soon.

Name: Lilith (Lily) Blaze
Age: 15 Gender: Female. Legendary: Darkrai Appearance: The first thing someone would notice about Lily is her eyes. They are a light blue and very pretty. She is around 5'8 and has a very slim body, but with a bit of an athletic type. Her skin is a light tan, as for her hair it is a lightish brown and is usually pulled back in a ponytail, when it is down it is a little longer then shoulder length. She usually has her nails painted a bright pink as to stand out a bit more. As for her usual attire she can usually be seen wearing a bright blue tank top and tight jeans. She usually wears tennis shoes but sometimes would have a pair of flip flops on. She also wears a blue head band to keep her hair out of her eyes and she likes to think it brings out her eyes. Both her eyes are pierced with one small diamond earing in each. Personality: Lily tends to be very caring and kind towards everyone, but at the same time she can have a tough and competitive mentality. She doesn't like to be picked on or see other people who are defenseless be picked on. The caring and tough personality seem to help her in tough times. It is also very helpful when she sees somebody else in trouble. Lily would never look away from someone who was in danger no matter how dangerous the situation she would risk her own life to save someone else... and at times that scares her. She can tend to be a bit of a girly girl at times, and this may be at fault of her parents for pampering her. She really enjoys doing girly stuff, but at the same time if it's really needed she can turn into a tomboy just like that. History: History: Lily was raised in Jubilife with her parents. Her life was never really that tough during Gales reign her father had inherited money from his father and they basically had no worries. Lily's mother wanted her daughter to grow up pampered and beautiful and not have to worry about the troubles in the world. But Lily's deep compassion for other people made her try to learn more about what was going on around the world. On Lily's thirteenth birthday she was at home waiting for her parents to come home from work and celebrate her birthday with her, but unfortunately they never came home, as they were in a car crash on there way home. This really hurt Lily who had always been a caring child, it also created some what of an angry side to her. At times she would become so angry it was almost as if it wasn't the same girl. Finally on Lily's fifteenth birthday she decided to give up her family fortune to a bunch of different charities and become a pokemon trainer in the new Belkan Region. Starter choice: Chikorita and Pachirisu Extra: Zypher was finally starting to feel a little better as he moved an empty bottle of water away from his lips as he just chugged the full thing. "Well now, that was just horrible" Zypher said as he looked down at his clothes to see the blood stained color, but suddenly a smile came back to his face as he realized he just captured his first pokemon that would help in his journey to save the world. He grabbed Pichu's tamer ball from his belt clip and tossed it out. "Pi.. Pi?" the little yellow pokemon said a bit confused as Zypher notice all the hatred in it's eyes he noticed just a while ago was gone. "Hey little guy, my names Zypher and i'm your new friend" Zypher said knowing well enough to stir away from the word trainer. "Hmm you need a name, how about Chance?" he asked as the pichu began to smile and then jumped up and down. "Pi! Chu" Chance said happily in agreement as Zypher then walked over picking him up and setting him on his shoulder. "You can sit on my shoulder Chance" Zypher said smiling to Chance he began to remeber the good times he spent with his old Raichu, in some way this Pichu made him feel like he was back in Kanto... He knew he wasn't though, he knew things would never be back to the way they were but he could hope, and within hope theres light that shines down on the worse things in the world. He then pulled his GPS from his pocket. "Now where should we head to next?" he began wondering as he realized that there were two different routes that would lead them towards Cherry Grove City. "Well Chance it seems there is a short cut up through Mt.Silver on Route 46, what do you think wanna take the shortcut?" Zypher asked is Pichu pointed at Route 46 on his map and started nodding in agreement. "Pichu, pi.. pi!" Chance said. "Alright then Route 46 it is then!" Zypher said as the two of them headed towards Mt. Silver and route 46. As the two of them approached it Zypher began wondering if they chose the right path as in front of them looked like a monstrous death trap. There were pitfalls, and sharp deadly rocks, your basic hard to travel path. Still it didn't seem to bother Zypher who just put a smile on his face. "Well Chance are you ready to change things here?" Zypher asked eager to get moving. "Pichu!" Chance cheered as the two continued on Route 46! |
This is more a general notice, but I never really specified a type for Zenith City, so I decided earlier today that it could be a Dark type Gym. Strikit, you're in.
SacredBeo: You're in as well. |

If so, I'll join too . Expect my SU sometime later today, mmkay ? please reserve .. |
Eep, thank you. My SU ought to be finished tonight.

Name: Hana Kurock
Gender: Female. Age: 14 Legendary: Kyogre Appearance: Anyone even taking a single glance at Hana would notice her. It’s really not like she’s trying hard though. The foremost reason for this would be her long, raven black hair. She usually wears it into two pigtails, yet even then it reaches to her lower back. As for the rest of her face, it’s quite plain, though she has a bit of a snub nose. Her eyes are somewhat large compared to the rest, and coloured a vivid blue. Hana’s physique isn’t all that notable either. Standing at around 5’1’’, she is quite short for a 14-year-old, often causing people to think she’s much younger. Apart from that, she has a quite slim build, yet not too much of ‘female traits’ yet. Her Sa’je usually isn’t that clearly visible, as it would usually be covered by clothes. The so-called ‘birthmark’ she got looks most like a bruise, as it seems her skin became somewhat blue-coloured. The mark isn’t too big, sitting on her left shoulder. However, if you look closely, the blue colour seems to shift intensity. Like the colour is literally ‘flowing’ through the mark. Finally, her usual garb consists of a blue tank top with a black vest over it. The vest has some white lines and other details made into it, while the tank top is just plain blue. Other than that, Hana would just wear some dark greyish shorts with a white belt. For shoes, she usually puts on her favourite grey sneakers. Personality: Although she looks short (and maybe even cute to some), Hana doesn’t like that kind of image. She can be a huge tomboy if she wants to, and would often act somewhat rude to people she meets for the first time. Even if they try to compliment her, she won’t budge easily. Much more when they call her anything even remotely like a ‘cute little girl’ … You have been warned. It’s not like she always means to be rude though. If she really says something bad to someone and they’d get upset, Hana would feel bad about it right away. Sadly, she isn’t too good at making someone feel better or even apologizing.. Instead, she would just fall silent, or even run away in a worst-case scenario. However, to her close friends, Hana can be more of an outgoing person. She’d still be there with her occasional rude remarks, but if it’s her friends, they’ll know she doesn’t mean a thing of it. Deep within, if you manage to peel open all of her rough shells, you’ll find the delicate Hana inside. Honestly, she likes being complimented like all other girls would.. she just doesn’t know how to react on it too well. That’s all. History: Hana originally came from a little town in Hoenn, called Sootopolis City. In the middle of a water-filled volcano, Sootopolis is quite detached from the outside world. Because of this, Hana hasn’t seen much else from the world than her own little town.. But that’s about to change, now she set out for a journey to the new world of Beklan. Apart from all this, Hana’s life hasn’t been too much of an amazing one. She has two live parent s (wow!), though she didn’t see them as much as she had wanted to; both of them have quite busy jobs. The father’s the captain on the one submarine that grants entrance and exit to Sootopolis City, meaning he’d be quite busy throughout the day. Her mom, too, works hard: she’s the only doctor in town, meaning she has to get around everywhere to help out people – mostly elderly, lately.. – in the entire town. Unfortunately, because the two have such busy jobs, they’d come home all stressed out.. often turning the evening into a time of rows and arguments. This is one of the reasons Hana became fairly rude in dealing with anyone else, too. What to expect, when the two people you pick your lifestyle up from are also the ones who seemingly can’t get along well? Even though all would be well over in the morning.. Pokémon: Squirtle, lv. 8 Nickname: Kame Moveset: Tackle, Tail Whip, Water Gun Vulpix, lv. 9 Nickname: Horo Moveset: Ember, Tail Whip, Quick Attack, Confuse Ray I'm quite sorry, I think I went a little overboard with this.. It'll be my first time RP'ing, so I haven't got any sample. If you really insist on one, I can always write one on the spot... |
hiinotama: You're in. Since it's your first time, I'll let you off the hook for the sample.
Strikit: Don't fret. You're in, so don't worry. |
It seems as though people aren't signing up as Gym Leaders very often, if it goes on like this tomorrow, may I make an NP gym leader?
|
Which are you wanting, assasinn?

Trainer Name: Esthin Roschel
Age: 19 Gender: Male Appearance: Aesthetic appearance is not of integral importance to Esthin. He spends most of his time indoors training with his Pokemon, rarely seeing sunlight. As a result his skin is pale, almost completely white, and he is thin. His facial features are pointed and sharp. Icily cold blue eyes peer disdainfully through wild tendrils of black hair of a medium length. He is tall, standing at six feet and an inch. Altogether, his facial features, unhealthily pallid complexion and thin body, and cold, demented eyes give the impression of corruption, perhaps even insanity. Usually Esthin wears a black button down shirt under a black, nearly floor length cloak, baggy black cargo pants held up by a black belt with a silver buckle, and heavy boots. On the inside of his cloak are six pockets sewn in, one for each of his Pokemon. Of course, their balls are most often empty; Esthin trains as many of his Pokemon as he can at once for as long as he and they can manage. Region You Hail From: Johto History: Esthin was the second child of Artur and Delilah Roschel. He was born a year after his older brother Korbin, two years before his sister Fyora, and three years before the youngest brother, Darin. From the start he looked up to his father and wanted to become a successful trainer like he had once been. For the first eight years of his life, Esthin and his family lived in Violet City. Life there was unremarkable, with his mother working at the Pokemart, and his father an adviser for the gym leader Falkner. Being an ex-trainer himself, he gave the young leader tips on how to improve his strategy and which additions to his team he ought to make. After stepping in for Falkner on a day when he was sick, he remembered his passion for Pokemon, and decided to move to Blackthorn City and begin training under Clair. Esthin and his siblings all disliked the small town, but they tried to stomach it for their father, as they had never seen him so happy. Their mother opened her own shop where she sold remedies for the many problems that afflict humans and their Pokemon at as low a cost as she could; there was great money in working with Clair, so the family was in no danger of going under. When he was ten, a trainer stopped at his mother's shop with a clutch of four eggs that one of his Pokemon, he did not say what species, had laid. He seemed reluctant to part with them, but said that there had been too many times on the Ice Path when he had been afraid he would drop them, resulting in them breaking, extinguishing the lives of the developing embryos. If that was any indication of how the trip down the mountain would be, he did not want to risk it. Sympathetic to the young man, Esthin's mother awarded he and his three siblings each with one of the eggs with instructions to be as careful with them as they would if it was their own child. Never being much the nurturing type, he didn't religiously look after the egg, though he did take care of it reasonably well. It hatched in the middle of the night when he was twelve. He went to bed with the egg under the covers next to him, and awoke with a baby Sneasel curled up next to him, egg shell scattered around it. Esthin was pleased with his Pokemon's species; he had always loved the Dark type, and adored the Ice type for being able to take down a Dragon. After he realized it was a male he named him Hades, in reference to his type. As soon as Hades was old enough, and his parents deemed him old enough to leave, Esthin began traversing Johto in search of Dark Pokemon to train. His goal was to get a Gym Leader's License from whatever League would take him and to start the first Dark gym in history. That the type had not had a gym dedicated to it was shocking to him, and he desired to remedy it. In Johto he bonded with Hades even more as he travelled wherever Dark types could be found. He captured a Murkrow, Houndour, and Absol easily using only the Dark types in his party. It became a promise to himself that he would never use anything but the type he loved so much, and he adhered strictly to it, even when he faced difficulty. His family respected his choices so much that when he returned home for his sixteenth birthday they presented him with an Umbreon to add to his team. By this time he was training Hades the Sneasel, Mafia the Honchkrow, Cerberus the Houndoom (Latin pronunciation -- Kehr-bur-us), Damian the Absol, and Nocturne the Umbreon. By this time, working with Dark Pokemon had already begun to corrupt him. He had lost weight and his temper had sharpened. But that did not stop him from continuing. When he heard of the Beklan region on his travels he took a ship there in order to find out what prospects awaited. When he docked almost immediately he found a feral Mightyena in the alleyway behind the hotel he was staying in while he rested. He captured the beast and named him Kain, hoping he would become a successful member of his team. His hopes came to fruition, as Kain proved to be a valuable asset. It took some training for Kain not to be a wild, disobedient monster. But the effort was well worth it. The result was such that when Esthin appeared before the Beklan League directors, he was granted a Gym Leader's License with commendations for his obedient and powerful team. Immediately he began work in Zenith City on his gym. After he established himself the trainers began to flood in, in search of a badge. This meant Esthin had to train ever harder, to avoid giving away more badges than were truly deserved. In present day, Esthin is consumed by his work, questing always to become stronger. Personality: Esthin is as dark as the creatures he trains. Before he truly began training Pokemon, even up until he got his Gym Leaders' License, Esthin was generous, kind, and fairly harmless, if a bit arrogant. He was very close to his family and aspired even then to be the first Dark gym leader. His intentions were pure, and motivated by his bond with Hades. But after he got his License he began to change. Esthin spent more and more time with his Dark Pokemon, and it seemed that the more time he spent with them the more his personality distorted. In present day he is aggressive, tenacious, ruthless, sadistic, and even a bit masochistic. He lives for every challenge and every match. Despite his lack of compassion for humanity, however, Esthin has retained a certain affection for his team and refuses to overwork and overexert them. Most acutely he is bonded with Hades; his Sneasel is almost always out of his ball and at his master's side. Your Team of Pokémon: -Name: Hades -Species: Sneasel -Gender: Male -Name: Kain -Species: Mightyena -Gender: Male -Name: Damian -Species: Absol -Gender: Male -Name: Nocturne -Species: Umbreon -Gender: Female -Name: Cerberus -Species: Houndoom -Gender: Male -Name: Mafia -Species: Honchkrow -Gender: Female Your Gym of Choice: Zenith City, Dark Pokemon Zenith City is elegant, with a high standard of living. The architecture is dark and gothic, but not overwhelmingly so. In the very heart of the fairly large city is the Void Gym, commandeered by Esthin. The gym itself is fairly large and two stories tall. When Esthin is waiting for challengers, he stands on a pedestal on the first floor at the very back of the building. There are flights of stairs on either side of the door leading up to the second floor. It isn't completely solid; it is comprised of winding pathways, all coming up to a platform in the middle. This floor is mainly used for training, and less for challenging. Most often Esthin can be found here training his team. The interior of the Void Gym is dark and in places, filled with purplish smoke to hinder vision. Sample post: From his position concealed in the thick, smoky darkness he saw a rectangle of light appear, then vanish as soon as it had come. A challenger had arrived. A smirk curved his lips as he watched the girl first be confronted by one of his members, then a second. When she defeated that one as well a dark shape stirred by his feet. A cold aura emanated from it, heightening the frightening appearance that came from its twisted silhouette. “Calm,” the man commanded. It fell silent instantly, its blood red eyes trained on the young woman. It did not take her long to get through to them, suggesting she had at least one team member that could withstand Dark offenses. That was alright. It would not make any difference in the outcome. As she neared his pedestal her footsteps slowed and her confidence melted visibly, leaving a shivering child in her place. “State your business,” he said coldly. She shuddered at the sound of his voice. It was like a serpent slithering over ice. “I-I… I’m here for the b-badge,” she stammered. “Then let us begin. There are no rules in this gym. Either you succeed, or you do not. It is up to you.” When he emerged from the darkness he heard her stifle a gasp. His frigid blue eyes, focused intensely on her, glowed eerily. Black hair fell like a pagan wreath around his head. His unnaturally pale features twisted into a sadistic grin, giving the impression that he was on the ledge of insanity. The rest of his body was obscured by a floor length cloak, blacker than the darkest moonless night. His boots thudded dully as he led her to the center of the gym floor. Unbidden, the trainers moved out of the way and watched silently from the shadows, their eyes glowing like hungry dogs. The twisted shape had followed him down. It positioned itself in front of him and waited. The girl realized after several moments of silence that she would not be told what to do here. Her hands shook uncontrollably as she retrieved a ball from her belt and threw it. A Forretress landed where it fell, towering over the far smaller dark shape. However, despite the species’ generally blank expression, its anxiety was evident in the way its eyes darted back and forth. He chuckled cruelly. “Go.” The little shadow lunged forward with a bloodcurdling screech, sealing the fate of its opponent. |
That was superb, Strikit. You amaze me.
|
NP for Learth, or the Rock place, but an electric trainer.
|
Aww, thank you. I've always wanted to play Esthin, and I was hoping his SU would be satisfactory.
|
assasinn, Laerth is a Ground type Gym... did you still want it?
That's okay, Strikit. |
Alright, I'll take it. Here's the SU I've worked on:
Name: Terry Freedman Gender: Male Age: 20 Region you Hail from: Kanto Appearance: Terry is a hardy mountain man. He has sort of a butt-chin, but doesn’t let that bother him, and people don’t seem to notice it. His chiseled features make him excellent at climbing anything, no matter how steep. He has a buzz cut, with a Hindu sun sign at the side. The green on his eyes make him look demonic, but at the same time, curious. He wears a white T-Shirt held up by suspenders, which don’t suit him at all. History: There is not much which is known about him. Some say that he is actually a golem, forged in the volcano of Cinnabar. Others say he was left for dead as a baby, and was taken in by Sandslash as a child. There are no records of his parents, or any family members at all. All that is known is that he is Terry, the gym leader of Learth City, from the Island of Cinnabar. When Terry was ten, he met a trainer, who showed him a Pokemon. The trainer took him to Vermillion city, and helped him register for the Pokemon League. He then gave Terry his first Pokemon, a Cubone, he named Chet. The Pokemon League was easy for him, although he came across a strong water-type trainer. He managed to make it to third place, but failed in being first. After three years of intense training, he travelled to the Beklan region to become a gym leader. He chose Learth City, because it reminds him of his journey. Personality: Although a little narcissistic, he will take on anyone, disregarding appearance. Terry is also illiterate having a hard time speaking with others. Pokemon: Marowak Sandslash Steelix Rhyperior Flygon Gym of Choice: Learth City The city is nested in a caldera. The city is famous for “Steamer” a smoke vent at the center of the city, next to the gym west side. On the East is a Pokemon Center, and a Poke Mart. Many non-descript buildings are built around the vent. RP sample: “We battle?” Terry said. The other trainer replied studdering “O-kay?” Terry sends out a Sandslash. The other trainer sends out the best Pokemon ever; a mudkip(z). Terry appears to communicate with Sandslash by clicking his tongue. Sandslash used rapid spin. Mudkip used bide, not moving taking his time. Sandslash uses shadow claw, but mudkip stands there, still using bide. Mudkip then releases energy, and knocks Sandslash to the wall. Sandslash makes a quick recovery and uses super fang. Mudkip now as a gash on its tail fin. Sandslash uses rapid spin again, taking out Mudkip. "Okay, you lose" Terry announced. "But-" Terry interrupts and says "No" five times. He then holds out the Silt Badge in front of the trainer, and laughs in his face. |

Sorry, Killeh. I've already posted a NP SU for the Turehu Leader. If you want, you can try for the last City - Shedu, the City of Stones. Also, the Leader of Shedu has stone-evolved Pokemon, if you wanted an extra hint.

Yay Jess! I hope you get in.

Okkaayyy! ;D
Sign-Up Sheet (For Gym Leaders!) Trainer Name: Janice Devandee Age: 16 Gender: Female Appearance: Janice is a fairly medium-heighted young woman, standing around five foot four inches when not in shoes, most of of her height is due to her very long legs, which she is complimented on often. Janice has tanned skin, due to her love for the outdoors, and it usually just stays tanned all year 'round, never completely fading out back into her original pale skin. Janice has a peculiar colour to her hair. It is originally black, but she likes to dye it a multitude of different colours, to experiment. The thing is, Janice is terrible at actually washing out the colour she puts in, so, over the years, her hair has the hue of multiple different colours. So, in some parts of her hair, it has an orange shine in the sun, some blue, some green, etc. But Janice's hair still retains it's health, even with excessive dying, and she grows it down to almost her thighs. Janice has green eyes, that change colours some times, depending on the light of the sun, and when it's 'that time' of the month. At some points, they may seem bluer, or sometimes a tad brown. Janice has a fairly normal looking face. She has highish cheek bones, a small, slightly upturned nose, and plump lips. Her ears are pierced in two places; lobs, and cartilage in both. Her nose has a small stud on the side, and her navel is also pierced. Janice is self-labeled a 'girly girl', and she's darn proud of it! She loves bright, happy colours, with skirts and high-heeled shoes, all that jazz. She doesn't understand tomboys in the slightest, and doesn't try to. Janice's favourite outfit consists of; A short-sleeved, light pink T-shirt with a slightly low neckline. It has the word 'Smile!' written across her breasts, in black cursive writing. She wears dark jean shorts that go to mid-thigh, with a few multicoloured sequins scattered on the back and front pockets, a small red heart on the left back pocket. She usually has a white, blue, or pink thin cloth jacket either nearby, around her waist, or on because she gets cold very easily. Janice wears a pink leather belt on her waist, which is used as an accessory and a PokeBall belt, her Pokeballs all have Seals on them, as a Coordinator would have. Janice likes knee-high socks, mostly white and pink striped. She wears these with her favourite outfit, along with pink tennis shoes with white laces. Janice doesn't wear a lot of make-up, but isn't completely bare. She likes eyeliner, mostly black, mascaras, eyeshadow, and lipgloss, sometimes with some pink or red colour to it. She wears it at all times, and never leaves the house without a least lipgloss and eyeliner. She likes to paint her nails a multitude of colours, but mostly sticks with red, pink, and green. Janice's favourite colours are all of them, but she mostly likes pink. Region You Hail From: Johto History: Janice comes from the largest city in Johto, Goldenrod. She loves the big-city life, and can't stand being in boring old rural cities like New Bark. Her parents are Keith Devandee and Luanna Devandee-Donovan. Luanna isn't her birth mother, Janice's real mother, Heidi, died when she was four, and her father remarried when she was six. Luanna had a child from a previous marriage, her name is Azleyla Donovan, who lived with Janice as a child, up to when she (Azleya) left for Sinnoh as a Pokemon trainer. Janice loves Azleyla like a full sibling, and was devasted when she left for Sinnoh. Keith and Luanna had two children in their marriage as well, when Janice was seven and Azleyla eight. They were one boy, named Christopher, and one girl, Charity. Janice got along with the younger twins fairly well, as they had an understanding relationship; 'Don't mess with Janice or she'll hurt you.' But the bond between the twins and Janice was never as strong as the one between Janice and Azleyla. Janice had a fairly normal, boring life in Goldenrod. Unlike a lot of great Gym Leaders and Trainers, nothing really extraordinary happened while she was growing up. She lived with her parents until she was ten, and then became a Trainer, as was customary. She did, although, have many adventures with Azleyla over the years. Azleyla was always one to be frightened very easily, and she never really liked going on the little adventures that Janice did. So whenever Janice dragged her into a cave or some woods, there would always be a fiasco with getting lost, or Azleyla being too scared to move, all that. Janice actually inspired Leyla to try to be braver, which lead to Azleyla leaving for Sinnoh to become a Pokemon Trainer. Janice, as mentioned in first paragraph, was devastated when Azleyla left, as she wouldn't even be able to visit for a while. She missed her dearly, but was cheered by her younger siblings, and the fact that she could follow Azleyla to Sinnoh next year when she was old enough to Train Pokemon. She was terribly bored that whole year, and her only relief was to go to the Goldenrod Gym to visit Whitney, or take a road-trip with her older Trainer friends to the next towns to see the sights. Finally, Janice was old enough to become a Trainer, and she got out of that house A.S.A.P! She was hoping to travel to Sinnoh to join their League as a new Trainer, but her parents refused, sending her to Hoenn instead, saying that she needed to have her own adventures, and not just following in Leyla's footsteps. She was extremely upset and angry about the situation, but traveled to Hoenn non-the-less to train. Before she left, Whitney (one of her best older friends), gave Janice an Eevee as her first Pokemon. Janice spent six years traveling around all four regions, training her Pokemon ceaselessly. As she traveled, she developed an aspiration to become a Gym Leader, but could find not place in any of the regions to hire her as one, since they were all full at the moment. Discouraged, she stopped trying for a while, and just continued spending time with her Pokemon. After a while, Janice caught wind of another Region, Beklan. She hurried there, and found that they needed Gym Leaders! She quickly signed up for the Shedu Gym, the Gym of Stone-evolved Pokemon. She was given time to create her badge, and she received her Gym Leader License. Personality: Janice's half-sister, Azleyla is a very kind, caring, thoughtful girl. Everyone expects Janice to be the exact same way. Well, too bad. Janice is a loud-mouthed, 'speaks her mind' kind of girl, who doesn't sugar-coat anything she says. She says exactly what she thinking, when she's thinking it. Don't like it? Too bad. Janice really doesn't care if she hurts your feelings or not. She's often named 'obnoxious', as she likes to be heard, and, again, doesn't care what people think of her at all. But she's also named hilarious, because of her crazy antics, and the fact that she's good at comedy. Azleyla was always the girl who calmed Janice down, as she has a wicked temper. Leyla always reminded her that she couldn't go around fighting all the time, and Leyla's talks were usually effective. Too bad she's in Sinnoh. Now, Janice isn't one of those girls who has a lot of layers. She's not one of those people who are all loud and rude, but kind and caring on the inside. No, no. She saves that 'kind' stuff for her half-sister! But Janice doesn't just not give a flying leap about anything, no. She's fiercely protective of her Pokemon, her family, and her friends. But she's real. She doesn't pretend to be something she's not. She doesn't try to change herself to be liked better, or more 'date-able', as a lot of girls now adays do. She's Janice, and if you don't like it, whatever. Janice can also be very violent. If she gets riled up enough, she will not hesitate to smack you! Especially witchy teenage girls, or anyone who's pissing her off. She wouldn't go far as killing somebody, but smacking, punching, slapping, yeah. She'll give you a bruise or ten before you walk away. Janice is also a bit, no, a lot, of a flirt. Any guy she sees, she'll basically flirt with. She's just one of those girls who's a bit boy crazy, and again, she's proud of it! No way, no how will she change, so everyone'll just have to get used to it! Janice is can be very arrogant and proud. Janice is amazingly fun! She loves going out and wrecking havoc, or breaking stuff accidentally, then running away. All that. She's almost never bored, as she'll always be able to find something to do, and it usually turns out pretty funny when she messes it up. (She's seriously clumsy!) As you might guess, not everyone likes Janice. Actually, a lot of people downright hate her! But does Janice care? No. Does she cry? Hell no. She shrugs, and walks away. Janice is only affectionate to those close to her, and baby Pokemon. Otherwise, and her being affectionate is seriously rare, she's the same old obnoxious person. Your Team of Pokémon: Spoiler:
Your Gym of Choice: Shedu City; Stone-Evolved Gym Sample post: (A Gym Battle between Janice and a random trainer ;D) Spoiler:
Shedu City: A large city, the second largest in the Beklan region. There are many homes, they are arranged in a circle around a central point. Theres a large clearing in the middle, and that is where the Gym is. The road to the next city is to the north of the City, and the road to get into Shedu from the previous city is to the west. The Gym is Two stories high, the bottom for battling and the top is her Pokemon's playground. The ceiling of the second floor is dome-shaped, and the whole building is round. The Pokemon Centre is on the Main road coming in from the previous town, the one to the West, and the Pokemon Shop is on the road going out, the road to the North. There is a road to the south, leading to a small wood where many wild Pokemon live. There is a road to a clearing used for training on the east side. There is a fountain that all children and Pokemon are allowed to play in right in front of the Shedu Gym. It's very large, good for all to play in, including Janice's Ludicolo. Badge: Change Badge: An octagon, with two, smaller points jutting out of each of it's eight angles. It's pink, with gold on the tips. (Hope it's okay I designed my own badge! ;D) Hope it was good enough! It took me like three and a half hours+ to write this! ;D But I have no life, so I have time to fill! ;D |
Don't worry, Strikit, Killeh's in.
As above, Killeh, that was a superbly written Leader SU. Edit: Section 1: Cheltin Town Number of posts: 1 The town of Cheltin is relatively small in comparison to the other cities and townships in Beklan. It is located near Route 401, with crisp sea air and the more land-based aquatic Pokémon are found almost anywhere in the city. It’s one of the older towns yet, in the five years since the region was discovered, it was one of the first to achieve the most technological advancements. The biggest building by far is the laboratory. The lab’s structure was on top of a hill that was accessible by a long stairway, which took one to the entrance of the lab. It was a two-story ivory edifice that had a maroon roof which, from the top of, allowed one to view the landscape as far as the eye could see. The first thing that was seen when entering was an array of bookshelves that were stacked against the wall, stretching from one corner of the room to the other. In the midst of the chaos on his second-story office stood Professor Arthur Regan – a young man. His cerulean-coloured hair was trimmed neatly, as it came down just short of his ears. He wore a long white lab coat that fell down to his black boots. From him you will get your Pokémon, Pokédex and some Poké Balls. REMEMBER: This is Pokémon futuristic style. This means that your Pokédex will resemble a flip-open calculator and be able to give you information just by you asking about a particular creature. The device’s spoken voice will reflect a masculine or feminine tone. Feminine-toned Pokédexes will be red, yellow, purple or grey. Masculine Pokédexes will be every other colour. The Poké Balls are even more advanced for this time period. They still have their stereotypical red and white look but they now recognize voice commands and will open by that alone, rather than the trainer having to press the centre button. |
I head to the professor's house after the long green dragon was far off that we could no longer see it.Hey professor I'm here to get my Pokedex and some pokeballs! I yelled out.(Hope I did it right...) I stop and begin to wonder what rayquaza is here in Beklan and deside to ask the prof as soon as I find him in this mess! I then find the professor in the second floor of the lab. The proffesor hands me 6 pokeballs and my Beklan Pokedex. I then ask the professor " why is a legendary pokemon from Hoenn doing flying all over the Beklan region" The professor then tells me he doesn't know what Rayquaza is doing in Beklan. He later allows me to look into his observatory and see if I can see Rayquaza, I check the telescope and see it more clearly the dragon was flying toward the first gym town. I then decided to find it on my way. I send out my Pichu and Torchic and we head towards
Leavane City. As we walk My body begins to grow again in bright Yellow and my Pichu looks up as Torchic runs as if he were following something. I then look up to the sky and see Rayquaza, which for some reason desided to come back. I then follow it until I came to a stop in the closest town to rest. I Forgot- My Torchic's nickname is Flare will by Pichu was nicknamed Volt. I also picked the Emerald Green colored Pokedex. |
Sara sat against the boat's railing, her feet on the lower railings. Her body was length-wise and her face was to the the fastly approaching landing across the decreasing body of water. She heard a faint chirp and felt a very furry body run up her legs and curl up on her lap. Sara smiled and lowered her head to the Sentrent curled up on her lap.
The wind presisted for some time before slowly dying down and going away. Sara looked in the direction towards where the wind most likely went. "Strange, one wouldn't expect winds that cold all the way out here..." Sara muttered, then heard a grunt beside her. The girl moved her head again and couldn't help but laugh slightly when her other Pokemon, a quiet but stubbon Riolu, struggled to push himself up on the railing beside his trainer. "You want some help, Azure?" Azure grunted again and gave one last push and sat on the railing beside the girl. Sara smiled and scratched the dog-like creature behind the ear. Despite his anger, Azure had to hum, almost like a cat, when he felt the comforting feeling. Sara smiled more before looking up when she heard the intercom. "May all passengers leaving for Beklan please report to the loading dock. I repeat; may all passengers leaving for Beklan please report to the loading dock." "Well, that's us guys," Sara said, nudging Valerie to wake her up. The Sentrent quickly got up and crawled up Sara's arm to hand on her shoulder. Sara then jumped off of the railing and turned towards the Riolu. Azure grunted, as if offended, and jumped off of the railing with her. As he landed, he lost his footing and fell on his chest. Sara chouldn't help but sigh, "You know, that pride of your's is going to get you in trouble one of these days," she said and walked towards the landing dock. Azure grunted and followed after his trainer. -/-/- Sara walked up the hill in Cheltin town towards the Labortory. Valerie sat on top of Sara's head and, as per her species, looked around at the surrounding area. Azure walked beside his trainer, though it was obvious that he was struggling slightly. Sara looked to her Emanation Pokemon and said, "You know, if you are getting tired, I could carry you for a while," To which she only got a grunt in response. Sara just shrugged, knowing that Azure so badly wanted to be as good as the other Riolus he has heard off and seen. She didn't know why he seemed to be not as well off as other Riolus, he just seemed to be. By know Sara was in the Cheltin's Labortory and she had to blink at all of the commotion. Valerie perked her ears and wagged her tail happily as she saw all of the chaos while Azure whinched from something only he saw. This time, not caring how the Riolu thought of it, she picked him up and carried him deeper into the Lab. Azure grumbled but didn't complain too much. Where he failed at gracefulness and some fighting ability, he made up for in sensing people's emotions. Soon, the soon-to-be trainer found the famous cerulean colored haired professor. He seemed to be giving orders to a young professor. Just as Sara reached him, the younger professor nodded and turned to Sara. "Ah, you must be one of the newer trainers, name?" Prof. Aurthur asked. "Sara Armstrong, from Four Island," Sara said. "Ah, good to see you Sara," Aurthur said, looking at the two Pokemon on her. "Well, I see you already have your Pokemon." Sara smiled slightly. "Yeah, these two were a gift from the Daycare Couple on my Island. They wanted to give me a good start, though they were eggs at the time so they didn't know what exactly was going to hatch." "Yeah, well, that kind of helps with picking a Pokemon for you," Aurthur said, then briskly walked over to another room. Sara followed him and found herself in a room with a few Pokeballs on the side, and a kind of circular shelf with levels. On the lower levels was a whole punched of small Pokeballs. On the upper levels were Pokedexs in a varity of colors. "Here, you can pick your Pokedex and the Pokeballs." the Pokemon Prof. said. "What's the difference in the Pokedex's besides the colors?" Sara asked. "The red, yellow, purple and gray ones have female voices, everything else has male," he said. "I see," Sara said as she looked at the many different colors, before picking a gray Pokedex. "I'm not a sexest, this matches my vest." "Whatever is fine with you," Aurthur said with a shrug as Sara picked up a pack of the Pokeballs. "Well, good luck kid. You'll need at least a bit of it for the Journey." "Thanks Professor," Sara said simple before walking out of the Lab. "Actually, you'll need a lot more then that for who you are," Authur said when the girl left his sight. (I'm sorry if it was up to you to control Authur or I did anything else wrong. I can cange the post if you want me too.) |
Dat locks the door to his gym. It is almost 9:00 PM. He opens a secret door, which he had built in his gym, leading to his home. As he walks through the door, he examines his Sa'Je. It glows brightly, in the shape of a crest within a thunder bolt. "Damn, I still haven't figured what this was yet" He thought to himself. He heads towards the kitchen, and gets a glass of water.
What I've forgotten: Before closing his gym for the night, Terry goes to "Steamer", and watches the small vent, puffing smoke from underneath his feet. He looks at the sky, the stars, the moon. He Takes a Poke ball from his belt, and releases the Pokemon in it. It is a Sandslash, his first Pokemon. He pats its' head and smiles. There is a warm breeze, but the night turns cold again. He withdraws his Sandslash, and heads in towards the door and sees a trainer at the other side of the room just standing there. |
It had been quite awhile since Lily had left her home in Jublife City and headed out for the region of Beklan. She began to brush a strand of hair out of her eyes as she could finally see her destination, Cheltin town. From the boat she could already see the lab in which she would recieve her starter pokemon.
"So this is where it begins" she sighed taking a deep breath of the crisp sea air. Lily had a much more relaxed look on her face, probably because she was finally setting out on her pokemon journey. For the last five years she had to stay home and take care of her familys finicial ends after her parents death's but finally that was all behind her. The town of Cheltin was rather small in comparison to Jublife City, but she could tell that it was a very high tech place. She quickly made haste to the lab doors without even knocking she entered. The first thing she noticed was ton's and ton's of books stacked messely on book shelves stretching from one corner to the next. She giggled a bit as it reminded her of the library in her home. "Helloooo, is anybody here" she shouted as her voice echoed through the huge lab. "Ahem, oh yes be there in one second" A man shouted from another room. After a few mintues he emerged with his cerulean colored hair carrying a tray with two red and white pokeballs. "So i'm guessing you are one of the new trainers?" he said. "No not at all... yes my name is Lillith Blaze, but you can call me Lily" She said smiling. "Nice to meet you Lily my name is Proffesor Aruthur Regan and if you wouldn't mind taking these two pokeballs from the tray please" he said as she quickly took them from the tray and he set it down immediatly after. "Awesome so these are my pokemon. Sweet!" Lily shouted in joy causing the echo once again in the lab. "My bad". "Don't worry about it, happens all the time. By the way you may chose from any of these pokedex's you'd like and here are some extra pokeballs" he said pulling a sorted varity of girly colors from his pockets as well as the extra pokeballs. One color immediatly grab her attention. "Hmmm i'll take the purple one" she said as he handed it over to her. The pokedex resembled a flip open caculator. "Well my dear make sure to take care on your journey and check in eveyr once in awhile! Oh and one more thing, the pokedex and pokeballs you have there will actually respond to your voice so make sure to test them out before using them in life threating situations!.. Not that you'll be in any of course" he said putting on a fake smile. Lily darted for the door she could barley wait to start training her new pokemon, and finally a thought crossed her mind.. "Was it Fate that brought her here?" |
Klark walks through Cheltin town holding a Quagsire. He sighs "Wow, I really haven't been here in a while" He remembers to go to professor Aurthur to get his new Poke Dex because his old one broke. He walks towards the tall building, and sees the man there, petting a marshtomp. "Hello, Mr. Green" Said the man "I have your new Poke Dex right here" He holds out an turquoise electric calculator-looking machine, and an iPhone. "Apple is set up here too?" said Klark. "No, this is the new Poke Gear. We had it designed yesterday by a stranger here" the professor replied.

For those trainers who are ready, here is the next section...
Route 401 Posts: 1 For trainers only NOTE: Pokémon that were once uncommon or even rare in the previous four regions are now quite common in Beklan. Likewise, common Pokémon from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh are now uncommon or rare. Please take that into consideration when looking for the Pokémon you want. This applies to all areas. Also, there are occasional periods of snowfall on Route 401, which has the weather bureau stunned. Be sure to keep warm if it is snowing. Route 401 consists of a valley-like exit from Cheltin Town with two hills, one on either side. Furthermore, two very steep hills finish off the rest of the path which ends at Valeria City. Not the best start for a beginner trainer, huh? Pokémon on Route 401: Common: Ekans (level 2-4) Nidoran female or male (level 2-4) Paras (level 2-4) Growlithe (level 2-4) Sneasel (level 2-4) Drowzee (level 2-4) Uncommon or Rare: Spearow (level 3-6) Snover (level 3-6) Abra (level 3-6) Ponyta (level 3-6) Murkrow (level 3-6) Kangaskhan*** (level 3-6) Special Event: There will be an old man at the end of Route 401, seconds away before you enter Valeria City who will give you a Headbutt TM. Don’t worry, he has an unlimited supply. However, one rule does apply — it’s one TM per trainer. End note: The Kangaskhan is very special, as it has a couple of Egg moves. So if anyone catches it, I want to see a superbly written post and I will grade accordingly. For Gym Leaders only: At Vegas City, home of the Pokémon League, the Elite 4 and Champion are holding a meeting with the Gym Leaders. Princess Stephanie of Zenith City’s royal family (as well as a Bug type Elite member) addresses the Leaders. “As I’m sure you’re all aware, we Elites thank you very much for coming to our region in a time of need. First and foremost, how are you all coping being in a different country to what you’re used to? Esthin?” “Ah yes, Esthin; the Dark type Leader,” Shingo interrupted. It didn’t matter to the Champion if he was cutting in front of someone, as it seemed to be part of his personality. As the holder of a team of Legendary Pokémon, he’d always disliked Esthin and made his point whenever he could. “You’d do us all a favour, Esthin, if you would attempt to change. You have no idea how many reports a day we get from trainers who enter your Gym.” “Shingo, that was uncalled for!” Stephanie and Dusty raised their voices at their leader. “Apologize!” Dusty, despite people believing she was a Ground type Elite, actually trained Water Pokémon. “No.” Shingo answered. “He has a point,” came the voice of the third Elite 4 member. Stephanie and Dusty turned incredulously when a man with a Steelix emerged from the shadows. Shade trained Steel types, and he was neutral when it came to Esthin, though he wholeheartedly supported his leader on other issues. “Esthin has put so many trainers off competing in the Beklan League that it’s not funny. In the same vein, however, Esthin shouldn’t have to change... okay, Shingo?” “It should be up to Esthin to decide,” quipped the last Elite 4, agreeing with Shade. This was Marina, the Normal type Elite member. “Esthin, what do you think?” A couple of the other Gym Leaders were growing tired that the discussion revolved around Esthin. Morrigan interrupted: “What should it matter what he thinks? Seriously, he’s just a Leader like the rest of us. You Elites need to get over it and let us go back to our cities!” “ENOUGH!” Shingo yelled. “Esthin, make your decision and hurry up! Clearly I should have thought this meeting out better,” he muttered in an after-tone. |
Ryu enters route 401 and sees the blizzard as he goes back to look for any pokemon he might have missed when he ran pass the route the day before.
Clothing change: Ryu is now wearing a emerald green scarf and a ruby red Sweater while his pichu was given a small Sapphire blue sweater to keep it warm. PS: the reason torchic wasn't given one is because he is a fire type and can warm itself. Ryu stumbles to a Shiny Sneasel and decides to catch it, he sends out pichu as torchic is too strong and would ko it before he could catch it. He commands Pichu to use spark on the Sneasel. Sneasel though is faster than ryu's pichu and uses powder snow against volt. Then volt uses its spark and rams into the sneasel. Ryu then takes out a pokeball which was given to him by the prof. and throws it. The ball sways back and forth like a pendulum worring Ryu, until the ball came to a stop... Ryu signed a breath of relief and then sends out his new Sneasel and nicknames it Ice Claw. Ryu then see's a odd looking pokemon in the grass that isn't yet covered in snow, the pokemon has a odd looking nose...( i'll add more later) The drowsy jumps up and uses confusion on Ryu and his team only to be blocked by his Ice Claw using it's claws. Ice claw later acts on itself and uses powder snow on the Drowsy and walks to Ryu and makes hand gesters to catch it. Ryu listens and then catches the Drowsy. Ryu names is newly caught Drowsy, Hypnoian after the words Hypno and magician. |
Magma has successfully captured a Drowzee and shiny Sneasel. Please take my advice into consideration next time. I don't want to have to do something drastic.

Sara was soon out of Cheltin Town and well into the next league of her journey. The girl hummed under her breath while Valerie ran here and there on the path in front of Sara, checking out one side of the road then the other. Azure sat on his trainer's shoulder, all but glaring straight ahead. He grunted as he saw how much fun the little racoon seemed to have and crossed his arms.
"Hey, just because she can actually enjoy herself, it doesn't mean that you have to be even more angry and brooding then usually," Sara said with a small smile as the Riolu let out a huff. "You know, if it'll really make you feel better, you could walk around with me for a bit." Azure nodded at that seggestion and, with his trainer's help, landed on the ground. He walked beside his trainer for a bit when suddenly Valerie ran towards them. With a happy cry, she ran up her trainer's side and hung herself on the same shoulder Azure was just sitting on. Azure glared at Valerie, who only stuck her tongue out at the uptight Riolu. Sara sighed slightly but didn't say anything and just concentrated on the road ahead of her. Of course, it wasn't too long before the little group would be introduced to a few Pokemon. The first to appear came with a harsh cry and flurry of feathers. Sara had to stop quickly, nearly making Azure trip over himself. Suddenly, there before them was a couple of angry looking Spearows. The new trainer smiled at her very first battle on her Journey. "Alright you two, time for some real battling here." The girl said. Azure grunted and moved infront of his trainer, going into a fighting stance, while Valerie smiled and jumped down beside the Riolu. Both Spearow's growled at the two trainer's Pokemon. Both the racoon and the dog shivered at the threat. "Alright, that makes things a little more difficult," Sara said. "But no matter. Azure, use Bite on the Spearow on the left! Valerie, use Scratch on the Spearow on the right!" Both of the girl's Pokemon nodded. Valerie quickly ran to her Spearow and scratched the bird, causing it to cry out in pain. Azure growled threatenly and ran at his Spearow. However, when he got close, the Spearow just jumped up in the air and avoided his bite. Azure gritted his teeth together and tried to swipe at the bird but it only just flew higher. It then dived down towards Azure. "Valerie, use Defense Curl in front of Azure!" Sara shouted. Valerie did just that, taking the Peck attack that was aimmed at the fighting type. The Scout Pokemon then uncurled herself and slamed her tail into the Spearow, kncocking it back. "Yeah! Nice going Val!" Sara said, making Azure growl again. "Alright guys, Azure use Bite again on the same Pokemon! Valerie use Assist on your own Spearow!" Again both Pokemon nodded as they heard their orders. This time, Azure had much more success in biting his opponent, making the bird faint. Valerie moved in a blurr and slammed into her Spearow. The second bird was disoriented which allowed her to slame into the Spearow again, making it faint. "Alright! Nice going there guys!" Sara said with a grin. "You both did great!" "Sentrent!" Valerie called out happily and once more ran up to her trainer's shoulder. Azure also grinned and crossed his arms confedently. Sara chuckled and once again picked the fighting dog up. She continued walking down the valley way, continuing her humming. Naturally, when it came time for her to face the very steep hills, the trainer wasn't all too happy. Neither was Azure but Valerie didn't seem to have a care in the world. In fact, she seemed to like the latest challenge. However, before anyone could make another move, yet another Pokemon made their appearance. It was a Growlithe, head down as it bared it's teeth at the group. "Alright, a Growlithe!" Sara said with a grin. "I hear they're really good Pokemon. Alright Azure, this one is your's!" "Riolu!" Azure said, more then happy to prove his worth and jumped in front of the other dog Pokemon. The Growlithe growled even more and lunged at Azure. The Riolu tried to dodge the attack but ended up tripping over his own feet and fell down hard. The Puppy Pokemon was more then willing to take this time to bite hard on Azure's arm. The Emanation Pokemon cried out in pain and moved his own head forward to use his own Bite attack on the Growlithe's front leg. The Growlithe yelped, letting go of the Riolu's arm and jumping back. "Okay, didn't go exactly as planed..." Sara muttered before calling out, "Okay Azure, use Quick Attack!" Azure grunted, as if more then happy to get an order like that, and moved in a blurr of speed at the Growlithe. This knocked the dog back and made it hit the ground hard. The puppy growled and slowly got back up. Azure grunted again and used another Quick Attack, knocking the Growlithe down on it's feet again. "Alright Azure, that's enough!" Sara called out and took out one of the Poke balls she has. At her command, the ball became big and with a praticed pitch, the girl threw the ball at the Growlithe. The ball hit the puppy, opening up and drawing it in with a flash of red light. The ball then fell to the ground and twitched once...twice...then a third and.... |

Human interaction was something of the past in Esthin Roschel’s life. His main focus had been Pokemon training for years, but it had finally encompassed his entire field of vision. As a result he had not said a single word since arriving at Vegas City for the Pokemon League meeting. For once, Hades was in his ball so as to avoid conflict; Hades had a tendency to be very aggressive toward other Pokemon. He would never attack without being told that he was permitted to do so, seeing as his training required no less. But he wouldn’t hesitate to offer a display of ferocity and aggression that frightened Pokemon and their trainers. And while Esthin would not normally care whether people were intimidated, he did not want to risk losing his leader’s license. He was not, however, traveling unaccompanied. Cerberus stalked into the meeting hall next to Esthin, his tail whipping violently as he sized up the occupants of the room. They all gave off an aura of power, obviously having obtained their high status with effort and training. But that did not mean Cerberus had to respect any of them. Until they proved themselves worthy of his respect he would regard them as nothing more or less as fixtures of the room with no thoughts or ideas of consequence.
The meeting hall was large, to accommodate a number of gym leaders, the Elite Four members, and whatever partner they may desire to have flank them. The size was just as well, Esthin noted. Seeing as his eyes were adjusted to darkness, the first thing he noticed was a Steelix with its trainer. They appeared to believe they were hiding in the shadows. Esthin couldn’t help but smirk. People were such funny creatures. There was a table in the center of the room for the leaders and Elite to sit at, and it appeared that refreshments had been prepared as well. But Esthin did not pay either element any mind. He crossed the room to the right side with Cerberus keeping pace easily and stood in silence, waiting for the meeting to begin. The first to speak, besides the incessant babble that had broken out among leaders during the wait, was a young woman that Esthin recognized from Zenith City, where his own gym was based. This could perhaps be why she first addressed him. Just as he had opened his mouth to speak, however, Shingo, the Champion, cut in. Esthin’s eyes narrowed; he was not used to being interrupted, nor was he favorable for letting the behavior continue. But he was more interested in the Champion’s reasons behind his outburst. What could he possibly have done to warrant an outbreak of fury? He listened to the squabble that ensued, amused. When Marina asked his opinion he stood up a little straighter, his expression one of distantly interested amusement. “I think that my methods are my own concern. A trainer deserving to challenge a quartet of men and women who call themselves Elite will not be put off by any deterrents, particularly not a gym which could be conquered by a team of well trained Bug and Fighting types. Those who do not pursue a challenge with the Beklan League because of my training methods are weak and they do not deserve the prestige that can be achieved by overcoming the League.” Cerberus stood up a little straighter and glared at those who had spoken out against Esthin, daring them to disagree with his master’s words. Esthin glanced down at him and snapped his fingers. Cerberus sat instantly and averted his eyes to the ground. Though he desired to protect his master and his reputation, he knew well that he was to obey Esthin’s orders whether he liked them or not. |
Dat's point of view
It is midday. A pelliper flies through the door, to Dat. It carries a letter in it's beak. Dat reads the letter ""Damn, it's that time again... alright. I'll close the gym." He goes to a Pokemon Center, and sqitches out his Breloom for his Tropius, which he calls Bananarama. "It'll be a long flight from here to Vegas City." he thought "I'd better pack some food". He goes to his home, and packs food. He throws his ball, mounts his Tropius, and leaves for Vegas City. Terry's Point of view Terry lets out a loud screech. "Me no understand strange pictures!" He yells. He makes angry cracking sounds at a messenger pidgey. It appears to click back. He shoos it away, and throws out his flygon, and mounts it. He gives it a signal, using a series of clicks. Terry points his finger to the south west, and flygon takes flight in that direction. |
Janice walked into the Pokemon League metting late, as always. She saw several pairs of eyes staring at her, obviously trying to unnerve her, make her feel uncomfortable. Too bad for them, as Janice didn't get uncomfortable or awkward. She had Sasuke, her Gallade, by her side. He stood up straighter as they entered the room where all of the League was meeting, trying to make himself seem more important and powerful. Janice elbowed him, and got closer to the group.
Janice quickly surveyed her fellow Gym Leaders, then the Elite Four, with her sharp blue eyes. She shrugged to Sasuke, and pushed through a few people to get closer to the Elite Four, who were speaking. They were talking about a certain Gym Leader, Esthin, of the Dark-type Gym. Apparently, trainers were complaining about the styling of his Gym. She snorted softly in contempt for said Trainers. They weren't complaining about the way the Leader battled, they were complaining about getting their asses handed to them. Obviously, by the fierce-looking houndoom by the man's side, he was tough to beat. Janice didn't like the look of Esthin, although she had at least a bit of respect for him as a Gym Leader, he didn't have her respect as a person, and he just looked really strange. He had a glow about him that radiated 'dangerous' to Janice. She was one for danger, but this guy just didn't seem right, though he spoke few words. Sasuke was oblivious to the whole thing. Janice listened to Esthin speak, but got bored. She wanted to move on to some other matters besides one Leader. And the matter of said Leader really wasn't that important. Most trainers whined about being beaten these days, when Janice first became a trainer, she didn't complain about being beaten! She got pissed off, yeah, but she didn't go complaining to the Elite Four and Champion about it! She went out, trained, and then went back and kicked some major ass! Janice gave a mental impatient huff, and waited until they moved on to the next manner of business. (OOC: Just establishing where Janice is, and giving her reflection on what's happeninggg. ;D) |
Klark arrives in Vegas City on his SeaKing. A bell-hop like person, escorts him to the meeting. When he walks into the room, he noticed, that numerous people were staring at him. People ask him questions, and he is overwhelmed.

Sara grinned widely as the Pokeball stopped twitching and let out the very satisfying 'ping'. The girl then walked over to the ball and picked it up. She then turned and grinned widely at Azure. "Nice going there little man, you did a great job," the new trainer said, then chuckled. "Maybe you're finally getting the hang of it!"
"Riolu!" Azure said and punched his chest, as if proving how tough he really is. Sadly, this didn't really work too well when Valerie suddenly ran at Azure from behind and knocked him down. The Fighting type growled and tried to turn around to punch the racoon-like Pokemon, only to have the Sentrent jump out of the way. "Sentret, Sentret!" Valerie taunted and ran around the Riolu. Azure tried to chase after the Scouting Pokemon, but only got dizzy and fell down. "Alright guys, enough of that," Sara said before Valerie could do too much more damage or for Azure to become un-dizzy and fight back. The Sentret immediately ran to her trainer and climbed up to her shoulder. Azure finally shooked her head and growled at the two. "Oh that's enough form you, Azure," Sara said as she took out the Pokeball that held the Growlithe. "Now, lets see how good this little guy is. Come on out...Tiger!" The ball opened up and the Growlithe appeared in a flash of red light. He seemed to have recovered slightly from the battle and was in slightly better condition then what he was before. Still, the now named Tiger glared at Azure, who only glared back. Vlaerie let out a happy cry and jumped off of her trainer's shoulder to meet the newest team member. Tiger blinked and leaned back a bit. But Valerie just moved forward some more and nuzzled the puppy. Tiger blushed and seemed very embarrassed. Azure yet out a angry cry and yelled at Valerie. The racoon just turned and stuck her tongue out at the fighting type, making him even more angry. "Alright, enough you two," Sara said with a sigh, making all of her Pokemon look at her. The girl then sighed and turned towards the very steep hill. "Well, we better get working on this. The sooner we reach the new town, the better." With that, the girl started to walk up the hill, her Pokemon following right after her. It wasn't any easy going. The girl was huffing and puffing with each step. It wasn't really all that wasy for the Pokemon either. Especially for Tiger, who was still recovering from his battle. Seeing that, Sara picked the Puppy Pokemon up and walked up the hill with the Growlithe. It didn't make things easier, in fact harder, but the trainer felt that it was the right thing to do. Valerie, it seemed was the only one not affected by the walk. She ran up and down and in circles around the group, seeming to enjoy the exercise. When they finally reached the top of the hill, Valerie was the only one not out of breath. In fact, it seemed as though she could run up a few more of those hills. Which was a good thing...considering there was another steep hill ahead of them. "Oh great...just what...we need..." Sara panted as she sat Tiger down, then bent over and breathed deeply to try to get some oxygen back into her body. "Stupid...Four...Island...Not having...anything...for me to...train on...physically..." "Ri...olu..." Azure panted and collapsed right next to his trainer. Tiger looked concernly up at his new trainer while Valerie just hopped around the group. Tiger then flicked his ear and turned around to growl at something. Valerie imediately stopped moving and looked in the Growlithe's direction. Sara straightened up and also looked in that direction just in time for an Ekans and a Paras to appear. With a very tired sigh, Sara looked to Azure, seeming him completely out, and then to Tiger and Valerie. "Well, I guess it's just you two right now," Sara said, then quickly took out her Pokedex and looked up the information on the two new Pokemon in front of her. With a nod, Sara put the 'dex away and said, "Valerie, use Quick Attack on the Paras! Tiger, use Bite on the Paras as well!" The girl knew that the Mushroom Pokemon would know powdered attacks and the last thing she needed was to have one of her Pokemon have a status aliment. Both Pokemon nodded and charged at the Paras. Valerie was the first to hit in a blurr of speed, knocking the Paras over. Tiger came soon after and bit down on the Paras' main body. The Paras let out a screech of pain before fainting. The Ekans quickly took this time to wrap around Valerie, squeezing the air out of the Scout Pokemon. "Sen!" Valerie cried out as the snake continued to squeeze her. Before Sara could even begin to get an order out, Tiger moved in what she thought would be an unoffical quick attack and bit down hard on the snake's neck just behind the head. He then jerked his head back and forth until the Ekans finally let go of Valerie, where he threw it to the side. "Valerie, finish it off with another Quick attack!" Sara quickly said before Tiger could do too much more damage to the snake. Valerie, though a bit shaken, was quick to reply and slammed her body into the Ekans, knocking it out. Tiger growled at the knocked out snake, but a quick word from Sara had him coming back to his trainer's side. By this time, Azure had finally awaken and blinked his eyes at the two Pokemon. Valerie just stuck her tongue out at the Fighting type before she ran up to her trainer's shoulder again. With a sigh, Sara congradulated Tiger and Valerie before she continued to walk down the hill. Naturally, it was a lot easier going down then up, but the girl had to be careful to not fall and roll down the hill. When she reached the bottom, Sara took a couple time for everyone to once again catch their breath and rest more. However, before she could start up again, a couple Ponytas appeare and all but glare at the group. "Ah, just great, another battle," Sara said with a sigh. "Azure, Tiger, you two are in this one." When the two Pokemon glared at each other, she said, "Okay guys, put all feelings aside and lets just get rid of these two so that we can finally rest up!" With more then a few grumbles, the two dog-like Pokemon moved in front of their trainer and got into their battle stances. The Ponytas took the first attack and ran at the two Pokemon in a Tackle attack. Tiger, even in his tired state, was easily able to dodge the attack. Azure, however, was not able to move as well and there for was hit. Sara sighed but didn't say anything and just concentrated on what to do next. "Alright boys, both of you use Bite on the Ponyta to the left! If it isn't down, I want Azure to use Quick attack!" Sara called out. Both the Puppy and Emanation Pokemon grunted and ran to the Ponyta to the left. It tried to jump to the side but Tiger was able to bite one leg, giving Azure the time he needed to bite the Ponyta as well. The horse let out a painful winny and jerked it's legs to get the two dogs off of it, but Azure just used a Quick Attack, knocking the Ponyta out. This angered the second Ponyta and it charged at Sara's Pokemon but the two were able to dodge the Tackle. "Alright guys! Tiger use Bite, Azure use another Quick Attack!" Sara ordered. Azure was the first to act, moving in a blurr of speed to knock the Ponyta over. Tiger took this time to run up and Bite the horse, making it cry out. At Sara's command, Azure ran and bit the horse as well, making it faint. "Alright, nice going you two," Sara said with a smile as her two Pokemon cam back to her. The girl then looked up at the hill, then at her Pokemon. "Okay Tiger, I'm going to call you back, since you're probably really tired right now. Azure, I'll carry you." Both of the dog Pokemon sighed in relief as Tiger was called back to his ball and Sara moved to pick the Riolu up. The girl then started the second, very tiring climb up the hill. Valerie again didn't seem to care and even ran up and down the hill a few times with out much effort. It took about 20 minutes, including the break at the top of the hill, for the newer trainer to fully cross the hil. The girl took another break to get some more air back before she finally started to walk towards the next town. Just before she entered it, however, a man stepped out of the side and blocked Sara's smile. The girl only glared at him but the man said, "I know you're probably very tired and you want to rest yourself and your Pokemon, but I have something for you. I can tell your a new trainer, so I think you'll like this." With that, the man handed Sara the TM for Headbutt. Sara only just looked at the TM before walking around the man and into the next town. "...You're welcome!" the man called out, but Sara made no sigh that she had heard. |
Shade approached Esthin, his Steelix by his side. Marina considered joining Shade, but thought better of it as two Elites might pressure Esthin into doing something drastic. "Esthin, your style as a Dark type Leader far surpasses Karen's of Kanto's Elite Four. You are wise not to change your method just because Shingo wants you to. I can speak only for myself and Marina, but the two of us wish you luck as a Leader here."
|
Esthin glanced down at Cerberus as the talk strayed away from him. “Cerberus, go get me a cup of coffee from the refreshment table. Black. Whatever you do, do not puncture the cup.” Cerberus whuffed an affirmative and sauntered over to the table, his head high and tail still whipping. It was obvious from his stance that he thought highly of the fact that master would trust him with his coffee, for it was a little known fact about Esthin that he truly enjoyed at least one cup of black coffee daily. His travels had hindered him from enjoying one today, but luckily that could be remedied. There was a pot simmering, so Cerberus grasped it with his tail, poured a Styrofoam cup full, and then wrapped his tail around the cup loosely. Carefully and steadily, he ferried it back to Esthin, who took it with a quiet, almost unnoticeable stroke between the horns. He took a long, slow sip, allowing the aroma to permeate his senses. Then he turned his attention to Shade and his Steelix.
“Thank you, Karen is a formidable trainer in herself. To be compared to her is an honor. I am certainly going to continue to run as strong a gym as possible. For what is the part of a gym if your goal is not to become stronger as time goes by? To change my training methods would be to contradict my station as leader.” |
Ryu picks up the potion in the ground and walks towards the tree the growlithe vanished into. Huh, what this," Ryu said as he picked up a strange looking item. Maybe I should take it... Ryu put the item in his backpack. Growwww, the growlithe jumped at Ryu and sent out a Blaze of Embers which made Ryu move back to dodge them. Ryu then sends out his Volt. Volt use Shock. volt used shock on the growlithe causing it to become palayzed. Ryu then walks near it and see that was hurt by another pokemon in it's side. Ryu then looks around and tries to see what made the Growlithe angry and hostile. Ryu desides to help the growlithe out but needs it to get it into a pokecenter so he throws a pokeball at it, the pokeball sways back and forth... then it looks like it's about to be catched...

Sorry I'm late.
********* "So... finally here, huh? Sweet." Riya strolled into Chetlin Town, his green headphones blasting a bass solo in his ears. Mic gave a cheerful yelp and darted ahead. Behind Riya, Taren padded along somberly, expression forcefully indifferent. Out of nowhere, Riya turned and scooped up the Electric type. Taren yelped and growled, beginning to squirm. Riya didn't budge. "Dude, ease up. If you're laggin' along worse than me, than that means I gotta carry you. I do it for Mic too so you ain't gettin' special treatment or anything." "Now, let's go see that Professor... Regan or somethin'" He ran toward the large building. Inside his trainer's hold, Taren sighed. Could his trainer be any less serious? The doors slid open at the touch on the carpeting, causing Riya to stumble and nearly fall backwards on his rear. "Whew, close! That woulda hurt!" His headphones slipped down to his ears, now playing a light piano. Mic licked his friend's leg in concern and turned to proceed to bark. Loudly. "Quite a fierce friend you've got there," observed a man as he strode over to him. "Yea, sometimes he's a little too feisty, ne Mic?" He reached down to stroke behind the Growlithe's ears. Mic let out a relaxed growl. Riya glanced up. "You're that professor right? Nice to meet ya. I'm Riya Sorendia." "Glad to meet you Riya," he replied, shaking his hand."Please come this way." Riya nodded and put Taren back on the ground again. The three followed solemnly, Riya reluctantly turning off his music. "You already have your Pokemon I see." "Mm," Riya grunted cheerily. "Mic was an Pokemon Mom gave me when I was little 'cause I liked climbing towers.Taren's a newbie, one of the litter that a wild one had. I had been nearby chillin' when a storm hit. Just helped out, ya know?" Arthur nodded. "I know very well. Now then, all that remains are your Pokeballs and Pokedex." He gestured to the table. Riya looked it over, analyzing the Pokedex while one had took a few Pokeballs by reflex. Seeing a dark-blue Pokedex, he snatched it up and examined the high-tech device. "S'not green, but I like. Cool." Turning to Professor Regan, he gave a friendly salute. "Thank ya kindly sir. Have a nice day." He turned to his Pokemon. "C'mon, we gotta start a'fore it gets dark." He bolted out the door. Mic let out a string of happy yips and hurried out. Taren sighed and followed, shaking his head. Arthur Regan smiled. "Something tells me whatever destiny awaits that boy, he just will not care. That's an interesting way of doing things." |
Lilly made her way slowly towards route 401 she was ecstatic but sad all in the same moment. Here she was holding her first two pokemon in her hands and she couldn't even call to tell her parents how happy she was.
"Well I guess I can't wait around forever to introduce myself to my team" She said as she used a voice command to release the pokemon from there balls. "Chik--Chik" A tiny green pokemon with a leaf on it's head yawned. "Risu? Su?" A white and blue type squirrel pokemon question looking around confused. "Awww there so cute! Pokedex please identify them for me" Lilly shouted excitidly to her pokedex. "Chikorita: It uses the leaf on it's head to determine the tempurature and humidity" The pokedex read in a girly voice before conitnuning. "Pachirisu: It's one of the kinds of pokemon with electric cheek pouches" It finished. Lilly took a step towards her new pokemon crouching down and then reaching back into her bag pulling out some crackers. "Come here guys i've got some food for you" She said as the Chikorita and Pachirisu slowly made there way over to her and began to nibble on the crackers. "Rita!!" "Pa Pa!" the two shouted happily as Lily began to pat them on the backs. "Well I think we've had ourselves a good introduction how about we move on then! Pokeball's return them to there balls" Lily orders as the pokeballs shoot red beams out at Chikorita and Pachirisu causing them to return into there balls and clipped them onto her belt. And with that Lily conitnued towards route 401, and when she got there she was a bit stunned to see that the hills in the distance were a bit snow covered. "Well now that's just not right" she excalimed as she set her bag down and pulled out a pink fluffy jacket that she threw over top of her shirt. Finally she began her journey taking off towards the hill on the left side of the valley. After what seemed like a few hours of walking she had finally made it to the top of the hill and was looking upon two longer very steep hills. Also she noticed that the further she made it the harder it began to snow. "Ok now this is just starting to get insane... Wait a minute didn't the pokedex say Chikorita could use the leaf on it's head to determine weather patterns? Maybe it can determine the source of this snow!" Lilly exclaimed as she released Chikorita from her pokeball and explained what she wanted her to do. The leaf on Chikorita's head began to point in one direction, the two of them raced off towards it until the could barley see it was snowing so hard, what she did see were several snow covered trees and a very odd shaped tree that it seemed Chikorita was heading straight for. "Chik!" She yelped as she ramed head first into the tree. "Hey stop that your going to hurt yourself!" Lilly shouted until she noticed that the tree wasn't a tree at all it was a pokemon. "Ver! Nover!" The pokemon roard as Lilly looked down at her pokedex. "Pokedex identify!" Lilly shouted as the pokemon sprouted out of the ground and began running towards them. "Snover: It lives on snowy mountains, having had little contact with humans, it is bodly inquisitive" the pokedex answered. "Ok then looks like were going to have to fight it! Chikorita stand your ground and growl!" Lilly shouted as Chikorita stopped in her tracks and planted her four feet into the snow covered ground and began growling and the charging Snover who froze in place and the growls. "Sno?" It said puzzled before putting an angry glare back on it's face. It then began to spread it's arms and more snow seemed to be emitting from from it. "What is it doing?!?" Lilly questioned as she could barley see now. "It's using the move Powder snow: It blasts the foe with a snowy gust and may cause frezzing". The pokedex answered. "Oh for the love of neptune that's just dandy! Errr Chikorita step it up, charge at the Snover and use tackle!!" Lilly ordered as Chikorita began charging towards the snover before pushing off it's hind legs flying into the air and then landing forehead to forehead with the Snover causing them to both fall backwards. It also caused it to stop snowing for a moment. "Rita!" She shouted getting back to her feet and staring down the Snover. "Over!!" It roared as it lifted it's arms and began flinging leafs at Chikorita and Lilly. "Ha a grass type move won't be that effective against Chikorita! Now's your chance charge in and use tackle again!" Lilly said putting a grin on her face as Chikorita began dodging the leafs getting closer and closer to the Snover before plummiting her body into the Snovers stomach causing it to fly ten feet backwards and fall unconcsious. "Way to go Chikorita! Now pokeball go!" Lilly yelled as she tossed an ununsed pokeball at the Snover causing it to be gulped up in red flash, hoping it would capture the pokemon. One thing she noticed though was that even though the Snover was inside the pokeball for the moment it was starting to snow again which meant that it wasn't the cause of the strange snowing... She began to think maybe it was just some strange natural occurence. |
Well done, Fuyu. Excellent post.
Congratulations, Beo. Lilly has successfully captured a level 5 male Snover. |

''There it is!''
The girl let out a sigh of relief and proceeded in running towards the town. The little Vulpix running by her side was surprised at her sudden dash, but managed to catch up with her again quickly. The two ran all the way uptil town entrance, at which the girl suddenly stopped... unfortunately causing the Vulpix to run into her. ''I told you we were going the right way!'' the girl nearly shouted. The Vulpix looked up at her in a daze at first, but then seemingly nodded and proceeded to run around the girl in a circle. At that, she picked the little Pokémon up. ''Yeah yeah, I know yer excited. You'd better not wear yourself out right away though, so I'ma have to carry ya for awhile. Can't have ya running around town wreaking havoc can I now?'' The Vulpix let out a soft yet disagreeing noise. ''I'm not gonna put ya down. You'll just have to bear with it.'' Again, the pokémon didn't seem to agree. The girl sighed, and pushed forward into the town. The twosome walked up the hill, eventually reaching seemingly the largest building in town. ''Guess this is it, huh?'' The Vulpix struggled and eventually managed to jump out of the arms that were holding it. ''Ya better not wreak havoc in here either.'' the girl noted before letting herself and the Pokémon in. ''Geez, this place is bigger than I thought..'' she said, right before having to glare at her Vulpix for running around all the time. ''I'm telling ya, if ya break anything, don't expect any dinner!'' Her Fire-type eventually managed to drop some books from the big bookshelf at the other side of the room anyway. As the girl picked them up, she noticed a book with a black cover, showing a dark blue silhouette with red glowing stripes - so it seemed - all over it, as well as a pair of glaring eyes. ''Huh? Isn't that---'' ''And who might you be?'' The girl flinched, almost dropping the book she was holding. Instead, she held on to it tight, now looking up instensely to the man calling out to her. ''What d'you care, old man?!'' The cerulean-haired man smiled at that. ''What a charming young lady.'' he uttered softly, walking up to her. ''Stay away from me, old man! Unless ya want me to make yer head even more black 'n blue!'' ''Feisty, too. I presume you're one of the trainers coming to Beklan to set out on a journey? If so, you're quite late, though..'' ''I'm---.. what d'ya mean I'm late?!'' The man-in-labcoat shrugged. ''Most of the trainers who were to come by here have long left... I can only imagine them having reached the next town by now.'' ''What?!'' The girl lunged at the man and grabbed the top of his lab coat. ''Hand me over my Pokémon right now!'' With a near-elegant movement, the man made her let go of his coat, at which he abruptly turned around and headed upstairs. The girl, surprised at his strength, quickly picked up her companion Vulpix and ran after him. He led her to his lab. There was a broad variation of machines, probably to take measurements or calculate whatever scientific stuff they were supposed to calculate. The cerulean-haired scientist walked over to his desk, ruffling through some papers. The young female looked around at that, noticing a few Pokéballs lying on some kind of small platform. ''Mind if I take one o'these?'' ''Don't you dare. I have a Pokémon waiting for you already... Here you go.'' The man had grabbed a seemingly old-fashioned Pokéball and handed it to the girl. ‘’What now, I get the leftovers?’’ she said as she took the ball. ‘’It’s fine if you think of it like that, however, that is not the case. Go on, let it out.’’ ‘’If ya say so...’’ the girl glared at the coated man for a second, before turning around and letting the Pokémon out. ‘’Squirtle.’’ A rather large turtle Pokémon stood in front of her. She was rather perplexed, as she’d expected to get some kind of small starter. Well, it was a starter alright, she knew that much. But it couldn't be... could it? ‘’Can you see it?’’ The girl glanced at the professor, but then resumed carefully examining the Squirtle in front of her. There was an odd pattern on the back of its shell. A pattern similar to the pattern she'd seen so many times before.. The one that'd appear on her shoulder when she went swimming in her hometown. She was amazed, just kept gaping at the pattern on the Squirtle's back. ''I presume you can indeed see it.'' The girl faced the professor again now, her expression had become a mixture of confusion and exitement. ''... What's that mean?!'' ''Honestly? I have no idea. That is for you to find out, together with this Squirtle.'' He smiled. She opened her mouth again, but couldn't think of a clever reply now. ''That's settled then. Now, to handle the formalities...'' The man walked to his desk again, this time taking some sort of odd-looking white pocket calculator, probably the new Pokédex model, and some Pokéballs. ''Here you go.'' After putting the Pokéballs in her pocket - and receiving directions on how to reach the next town - the girl left. The man in labcoat watched her as she ran off, now being tailed by two Pokémon rather than one. ''That old coot knows more than he let on...'' the girl sighed. ''We'll findout soon enough! right Kame?!'' ''Squirtlee!'' |
