Heart Gold Elite Four help?
Ho-Oh .47
Extrasensory Sunny Day Fire Blast Sacred Fire Walrein .48 Aurora Beam Ice Fang Rest Snore Meganium .44 Magical Leaf Synthesis Razor Leaf Petal Dance Blastoise .42 Aqua Tail Water Gun Water Pulse Skull Bash Dragonite .59 Dragon Rush Twister Dragon Rage Wing Attack Golem .42 Magnitude Rock Blast Rock Smash Explosion Been attempting the elite four about 4 times and keep getting to Lance but still don't beat him. Any Recommendations? Moves? Pokemon? Also, How can i train Meganium well? because Tentacruels and Tentacools have a reasonably resistance to Meganium. Finally, Should i teach Blastoise Surf? Many Regards. |
surf is a good move if your blastoise has a higher atk than sp atk. i thaught my lapras and it owns but my lapras has an epic atk stat
always do this: -find the type of pokemon that your pokemon is weakest against. -find wether your pokemon;s sp atk or atk is higher -find the weakness of the pokemon yours is weak against -teach it a move of the effective type of the physical or special class that helps alot. thats one of the main reasons i teach my charizard solarbeam every time. also idk if this helps but my dragonite knows dragon rush and aqua tail. the only of lance's pokemon that gave me trouble was gyrados. areodactyl atked dragonite then aqua tail killed it in one hit then all the dragonites were dispatched immediately with dragonrush without one hp lost |
Teach one of your Pokemon an Ice Type move. You need to train your team better too.

Once you're done buying, fly back to New Bark and deposit all of your money with your Mum. That way if you lose, you minimise your loss and maxamise your gain. Hope this helps :) |
first i would make sure your pokemon are around 45-50.
to defeat will use pokemon that know ghost/dark type moves. to defeat Koga use fire and psychic type moves. for bruno use flying and psychic. karen i would use psychic, fighting and ice type moves. and lance just attack with ice types for his dragonites and aerodactyl and for charizard and gyarados use electric or rock. i would focus on teaching ice type moves because alot of the e4's pokemon have weaknesses against ice. after that learn some good psychic moves. other than that just make sure to bring revives, potions and any other helpful items. good luck. |
You seem to have gotten quite a bit of feedback, which is great. However, going with what was said above, there really isn't more to say. Also, in-game team help isn't allowed right now. Something is currently in the works, but until then please just stick with the rule of thumb, "Anything will work in-game, just train hard enough and you'll do fine."
