3rd Generation Solo Run!
3rd Generation Solo Run
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The goal of a solo run is to complete the entire game with just one Pokemon. You may pick any Pokemon to complete this run with. You may use an emulator and hack it to obtain a certain Pokemon if you cannot obtain it until late in the game (e.g. Dratini in FRLG, Spheal in RSE). Legends may not be used, however, as they are no fun. http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkfrlg104.pngSign-up Form: Username: Game: Pokemon: http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkfrlg098.pngChallengers:

Alright I editted the first post.
You don't have to post updates, but it's okay if you do. HM Slaves are allowed of course. Just don't use them in battle. Update: Caught a bunch of Wurmples until I got one with a good nature (Timid), named it Ultima. http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/7223/pokemonsapphire01.png Evolved it. Decided to catch a bunch of Zigzagoons cause Pick up rules. http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/6956/pokemonsapphire02.png Haha Cruisin' along. Got to Roxanne. Got destroyed about four times in a row. Had to grind to a very high level to beat her. http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/8931/pokemonsapphire03.png http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/5250/pokemonsapphire04.png Brawly was cake. http://img710.imageshack.us/img710/707/pokemonsapphire05.png http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/4310/pokemonsapphire06.png |

Agumon
Ruby Aron--> Lairon --> Aggron! edit: Okay so I used A-starter to get my Aron and went through the game pretty quickly so far I named myself Han and my boy solo... heh. He's level seventeen and we just beat Roxanne I'll attach the screenshot to prove it. Plan on another update tomorrow. |
Started my adventure. Named myself Lavrov (Dunno Why)
Did the boring beginning. Caught a lotad (lvl 4, Modest nature) named him: JIMMY B. Defeated some trainers. I helped Wally with catching his lame ralts. Trained Lotad until he evolves to Lombre (lvl 14) Went trough the Petalburg woods. Challenged Roxanne and defeated her (it was easy because I just did absorb all the time) Pokemon: JIMMY B/Lombre lvl 17 Next update coming soon |
Maybe this time I'd appreciate the third generation more. First time I did this thing for a forum, too.
Username: Cid Game: Emerald Pokémon: Elekid -> Electabuzz I'm going to post an update as soon as I get on with the game. |

OK! Time for another exciting update of han and solo! ;)
So I made it to dewford town and ran through the tunnel without flash because it's cooler than using flash. Brawly kicked my butt twice I had to get Solo up to level 21 and had an amazing string of luck with every headbutt I used making his pokemon flinch otherwise I would have been done for. ran through slateport and dispatched the grunts easily. I've already lost to my rival's combusken twice. I'll beat her the next time I play. Screen shots attached for proof. |
Small Intro
|
I might do this actually; I'll post updates here if I decide to do it.
|
Lookin good everyone. I'll update my progress and the first post tomorrow. Me and Ultima are way farther than we were in our last update.

This is going to be my first time doing one of these types of challenges sooo yea

Hey small update!
Solo thrashed may after just a little more training, then speeding along to Mauvile we were stopped in our tracks by watson, (and still are.) But but but! Solo evolved and I'll probably beat the gym either tonight or in the morning and update again Pokemon: Lairon (Solo) Lv. 32 Hasty nature Iron tail Metal claw Take down Headbutt |
Here's an update towards the first Gym Badge. (b'')b
- Used A-Starter on the Emerald. Decided to replace Torchic for Elekid, mainly due to Mudkip's evolutions being part-Ground type. If it wasn't obvious yet, the name came from Vermilion City Gym Leader Lt. Surge. For some odd reason, my first try of getting his nature right was one of the natures I wanted him to have (Rash, increasing Sp. Attack and decreasing Sp. Defense, useful, and not disadvantageous at all, for Ground-type moves, which are Elekid's weaknesses, use the Defense stat instead, up until Generation III). - I defeated a Team Aqua Grunt at Petalburg Woods, then I got to Rustboro City. - Grinded a LOT at Route 116. I definitely needed at least level 20 to beat the two Geodudes, for they seem to make critical hits often during my rematches with Roxanne, and Cid lacks a good movepool (no available TMs at this point) to fend off those pesky Rock/Ground-types without using a ton of items (I realized that this isn't Final Fantasy, so I don't get unlimited supply of money or items from the random encounters). I never used the save state feature within the emulator, because it seemed like cheating to do so. Finally. And her Nosepass was underwhelmingly easy to beat, (ThunderPunch FTW!) due to its lack of Electric-type resistance. Maybe a Nincada would do? After that, then I'd go on to the annoying commotion caused by the Team Aqua Grunt. Location: Route 116 Badges: 1 Cid (Elekid) Level 21 Moves: - Quick Attack - Leer - ThunderPunch - Light Screen |
Next Update:
Got the Devon goods back from the evil aqua grunt. Went to president, obtained a pokénav and got a letter to deliver. Took the boat from petalburg city to Dewford town. Challenged the gym leader and... I GOT BEATEN 7 TIMES DUE THAT MAKUHITA!!!! Then defeated him due a critical hit (Lucky Shot). Pokemon: JIMMY B/Lombre lvl 24 (modest nature) - Astonish - Absorb - Fake Out - Nature Power Next update at next gym. |
I'll take a swing at this.
User name StrickeN Game: Emerald Pokemon: Magby > Magmar i hope sign up isn't too late. |
I'm going to try it with Gastly-> Haunter -> Gengar in FireRed. Sabrina's gonna be hard to beat. :/ I'm going to use A-Starter to get him right off the bat though...will post updates.

Another installment in Han and Solo's pokemon adventures!
-->After grinding Solo up to Lv. 35 I came back and wiped the floor with watson. --> Solo OHKO's just about everything in sight right about now and I have a feeling the next couple gym's won't give me to much trouble. --> one of my ziggzagoon's found a rare candy and raised Solo yet another level Here's the screen shot to prove I beat watson! and of Solo evolving which I meant to put into my last update! |
Another update. This one is a bit too long. Guess I got a bit carried away, especially the May battle part, since that was the battle where Elekid evolved. So in that case, I just put it and Elekid's evolution in spoiler tags.
- After catching a Nincada (named him Cutter), I beat the grunt and met Mr. Briney. Here on out starts my odd naming trend for the HM Slaves. - Beat May. - With the old man and his ship, I set sail towards Dewford. - Came to Route 106 and entered the Granite Cave. Received Flash, though I don't think it's that useful, I'm still probably catching a Pokemon for Flash. I decided to name my HM Slaves like this so they would at least feel special. The names are funny, too. In fact, why not just call them in a more suitable term? I'd call them my HM Buddies from now on. - Trained a little in Route 109. - Defeated Gym Leader Brawly. http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/3847/brawlybattlestart.png - Went inside the Trick House. I brought Cutter with me to get through its tricks, er...trees. And what do you know, when I got through, the guy did give me some candy (Rare Candy, that is). What is it today, Halloween? Surge's Third Battle Encounter with May (leading to Cid's evolution) Cid the Elekid's Evolution http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/3718/morerewards.png Location: Route 110 Badges: 2 Cid (Electabuzz) Level 30 Moves: - Swift - Leer - ThunderPunch - Light Screen |

Okay so yet another update for you guys!
So when you left me and Solo he was a poor little level thirty six Larion. I now give you my level 50 Aggron! (Check the screenshot to see him!) Me and Solo have now collected six of the eight badges and delt with the team rocket wannabes on mount pyre. I expect to get through there hideout at some point tomorrow and then on to beat the last two gyms hopefully! Check my screenies for proof of me progress! Aggron (Solo) Lv:50 Thunderbolt Metal claw take down headbutt |
Surge and Cid are already more than halfway from getting all the badges in Hoenn, and Cid's level is similarly halfway its highest. Here's another update.
- Got to Mauville City. I received Rock Smash, and caught a Poochyena for it and named him Smasher. I also received a Mach Bike from Rydel, which gave me a way through the Cycling Road. North of the city, I won against the Winstrate Family. They gave me the Macho Brace as a reward, but I'm more curious as to who the strongest of their family is. It just took a single ThunderPunch to knock it out. I pity him for losing, though at least he tried. He was a pretty decent opponent. The only Pokemon he had that annoyed me was Magneton, mainly due to its resistances, coupled with Paralysis and Confusion; The thing needed three periodical Screeches to defeat without Wattson healing it. Uh-oh, naming the Pokemon I've yet to catch as Strengther would be odd to listen to...but to follow the trend, I guess I would. I then went through the Fiery Path and caught a Machop along the way. I initially wanted him to be called Strengther, but I thought that I should only have five HM Buddies so I can put them all in one team. I decided to name him StrSmasher, so that I can put two HMs into him. I released Smasher and kept StrSmasher, with plans to name my fourth HM Buddy as Flyer, and my fifth HM Buddy as DW-Surfer, meaning DivingWaterfall-Surfer. - Met Team Magma and Team Aqua at Meteor Falls. - Took the Cable Car up to Mt. Chimney, and defeated Team Magma Leader Maxie. - Down the Jagged Pass, I came to Lavaridge Town. - Beat Gym Leader Flannery, and recieved my Fourth Badge. She was very easy compared to the first and third Gym Battles. - Defeated Gym Leader Norman, a.k.a. Dad. He was almost as easy as Flannery. Right after that, I caught a Marill in Route 104 west of Petalburg City (the nearest place I could catch a Pokemon that can learn the HMs Dive, Waterfall and Surf) and named him DW-Surfer. Only one more HM Buddy to go! Location: Petalburg City Badges: 5 Cid (Electabuzz) Level 50 Moves: - Swift - Screech - Thunderbolt - Light Screen |

Oh snap I have a lot of stuff to change on the first post.
Here's my update: http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/7223/pokemonsapphire01.png Owned Rival. http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/6956/pokemonsapphire02.png Owned Wattson. He wasn't too bad. http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/5250/pokemonsapphire04.png Owned Flannery. This is getting easy now. http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/7223/pokemonsapphire01.png Owned Dad. http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/6956/pokemonsapphire02.png Owned Winona. That freakin' Skarmory gave me problems. http://www.pokemonelite2000.com/pkrs016.gif - Ultima - lv.49 -Silver Wind -Toxic -Psychic -Giga Drain Also, I may start putting up videos of big battles soon now that I know how to do it. I've already been doing it in Rijon Adventures X. Check out my Youtube channel:: http://www.youtube.com/user/xephyr14 |
Xephyr on the first post it says i have 1 badge, i have 4 badges.
|
Haha whoops. Sorry didn't see that.
|
lol its not a problem but yea good work on this thread keep up the good work.
|
I'm changed my Pokemon to Growlithe, since the Ghost type can't affect Normal and Normal can't affect Ghost, effectively making it impossible for me to level up Gastly much at all. Check out my MASSIVE story below. I'm actually farther than this, but I'm going to post in smaller segments so that it's easier to read. Prepare for 150+ frames of extremely intense action, fellas.
Spoiler:
Wow. That took almost an hour to post. Enjoy, fellas! |

Haha! guess whose beaten every gym and team magma and saved the world in general? Han and Solo did! I do have a question before I fight the E4 though. can i use my hm slaves as revive fodder? just let me know
Here is the screen shot to prove I beat wallace. Aggron (Solo) Lv. 58 hasty nature thunderbolt metal claw take down headbutt |
Ok just got started on my Solo Run so here is what I got!
Alright, I started off naming my guy Blaine, for obvious purposes. We take a short, ride in the back of a moving van, because mom was too cheap to get me a cab and eventually we pop out infront of the house! Where apparantly mom has already been putting stuff up. She tels me to go set my clock, even though when I started my game it said internal battery too low. Oh well. I set it to a random time and then at said random time, I go downstairs to find my dad on T.v. oh wait, he's gone. Dratz. I head over to the neighbors house and enter with out knocking and my neighbors mom instantly lets me go upstairs to her private quarters! thanks neighbor. So I go try to steal her pokemon then she gets really busy. I go help a guy who is being attacked by a squirrel, poor guy, and he gives me a free pokemon. THANKS! I name my Magby of whom I chose, Inferno because he's hawt. And we use his fire powahs to kill this stupid pesky squirrel. Level 2? no problem! The guy decides I should keep said pokemon and then tells me to go find his daughter. I run up and train magby a little, he doesn' tlevel but I try May anyway. She beats me sadly on the first try so I leveled up once again and beat her thanks to a burn. Thanks luck. And that's what I got! I'll upload soe pictures in a bit. |
Another Update:
- Sailed to slateport and defeated all the trainers on the beach. - Delivered the Devon Goods and defeated the aqua grunts. - Defeated alot of trainers and did the first level of the trick house. - Arrived in Mauville city. - Battled Wally. - Defeated some trainers on the road to verdanturf town. - Challenged the gym leader and lost like 3 times. - I came up with an idea and bought some coins at the game corner and then played to win TM13: Ice beam. - Challenged the gym leader again and defeated him due ice beam. Pokemon: JIMMY B/Lombre lvl: 36 - Ice beam - Fake out - Nature Power - Absorb Next update after defeating Gym leader #4 |
An update lacking much progress (except for Cid's level) due to repetitively challenging trainers who wanted a rematch.
- Went to Mr. Briney's house and checked on him, seeing that his ship isn't around. What happened to him? Who kidnapped the old man? Now I have to use Surf to get around the watery region. D: But before that, I should go check on the Trick House. I'm no longer feeling bad about not having Mr. Briney and his ship, because I definitely LOVE surfing. Cid just zaps every evil Pokemon who wants to white us out that we randomly encounter, which teaches them to be good little Water-types. This time, the place was full of switches that closed holes. Not much was needed, really...and bringing my HM Buddies was a waste of time for them. They should've safely frolicked back at their Box 1 home. Not much of a reward, too, since I didn't need any Pokeballs of any kind. It now had smashable rocks, which put StrSmasher a job to do, and some switches that open and close doors. I didn't get any reward, for my bag was full (of useless mail)! After selling the mail, I got a Hard Stone (which I immediately deemed as useless and simply sold it). Some of my ventures consist of exploring New Mauville (that earned me Thunderbolt, which Cid already knew) and the Abandoned Ship. That mentioned, during this time, Cid gained a lot of levels, explaining his high level later on. I taught Return to Cid in place of Swift, mainly due to its base power being higher. - Surfed west of the river at Route 118. From then on, I went to the Weather Institute, kicked some Team Aqua butt (and received a Castform, which I subsequently released, after taking away the Mystic Water it held for selling), and continued on under the harsh rain. http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/9440/mayfourthbattlestart.png Apparently, the Gym here is blocked by something unseeable. So I just went on to Route 120. There I met Steven, who made me battle a Kecleon, then gave me a Devon Scope. He's then swept away by a Flying thing...weird. I continued on, even before fighting the Fortree Gym Leader, due to my unresisted urge to fight any available trainer. That is until I caught a Wingull while Surfing towards Mt. Pyre, whom I named Flyer, as my last HM Buddy. That's when I came back to Fortree to get my badge and be able to fly. http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/4189/winonabattlestart.png I just noticed, Flyer turns really big in the overworld. So that move was what Steven used, huh. Oh, wondering how I flew to Lilycove? That's because I just went there awhile ago.
Location: Lilycove City Badges: 6 Cid (Electabuzz) Level 73 Moves: - Return - Screech - Thunderbolt - Psychic |
Count me in!
(Is it okay to use A-Starter/gameshark to change my starter pokemon or catch it in the wild, as my pokemon can't be obtained till further on in the game) |
It is ok suicune says so in the rules.
|
Nice Agumon. And yes you can use HM Slaves as revive fodder. They have to be HM slaves though. You can't just go out and catch random stuff to fill your team slots up so you have your solo runner and five revive fodder-ers.
And yes you may use A-starter to get your Pokemon early. That is actually the recommended method of doing this. Also, you guys are giving me way too much stuff to update on the first post!! Haha, I'm kidding, it makes me glad that all of you are making so much progress. Keep it up everyone |

Is it late can i still join?
If yes GliscorFan08 Ruby Bagon-shelgon-salamance |
I don't like the idea of using the HM Slaves as Revive fodder, but if that's allowed, then I can't do anything, I guess.
I'd just go on with my solo run without using reviving items at all. It seems more like a solo run to do so, really, since if you rely on other Pokemon to get a 1-Up, then that wouldn't be a solo run now, would it? Precisely the reason as to why I sold every single reviving item that I get, and yes, even those rare Max Revives. No update yet, guys. Still, keep up the good work and thanks for the awesome idea, Xephyr. Good luck with your own solo runs. ;D |

Another update. Same as last time, Surge and Cid got another badge, and only one short from completing all eight Hoenn badges.
- Surfed all the way to Mt. Pyre. There I kicked some more Team Aqua butt, then left with a Magma Emblem in hand. I remembered seeing a Team Magma Grunt at Jagged Pass, so I went there to give the Emblem back. And what do you know, the boulder where I saw the Team Magma Grunt standing near to responded with the Emblem, which took me to their hideout. There I battled Team Magma Leader Maxie. By the way, the knocked out Pokemon besides Cid is StrSmasher, because Strength was needed to get through the hideout, though I made it a point to knock him out before having any battles inside to still have a solo run. I beat him easily...then he just disappears. - Flew to Lilycove City. After entering the cavern east of the city, I came across the hideout of Team Aqua. There, I kicked a little Team Aqua butt (yet again), then their boss got away (yet again). - Came to the Mossdeep Gym, and defeated Mossdeep Gym Leaders Tate and Liza. There I found out that I had to have at least two Pokemon to battle the Gym Leaders, which is why I brought Flasher (my least used HM Buddy) with me, whom I plan to knock away from the battle to achieve the solo run. On the way, I encountered Team Magma with their leader, marching towards the building. Seems that they've come for rocket fuel, but for what? Did Groudon suddenly blast off to space from our last encounter? http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/5638/teambattlestart.png http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/5901/sgift.png I sold the rewards from the first two, and equipped the Magnet on Cid, which I received from the most recent challenge. Also, I have a question here. Can we catch any Pokes to be used later after we finished this challenge? |
Quick warning to everyone, because I discovered this earlier: if you're doing a run through FRLG and you're using a pokemon that's not in the kanto pokedex, it won't evolve. So you'll have to find a way around that.

Reminder: -You forgot to update the first post Questions: -Can we catch any Pokes to be used later after we finished this challenge? -Can we use Gameshark to obtain Linoone and Wailmer? |
First update:
Named self Qwil (Qwilfish doesn't fit in), did stuff, chose Qwilfish as starter (using A-Starter), defeated Poochyena, named Qwilfish Spikester, did stuff, got to Rustboro, went to the gym, gosh, that gym was hard without Water Gun. I used a strategy comprising all my moves. Here it is: Firstly use Minimize 6 times so I don't get hurt much, set up 3 layers of Spikes so the next pokemon gets hurt, Poison Sting until it gets Poisoned (or gets Poisoned by Poison Point) and Tackle it until it faints. That strategy helped me defeat the gym. I defeated the Aqua grunt in Rusturf Tunnel and now am standing outside of Rusturf Tunnel. Team: Spikester/Qwilfish f. Level 16 Poison Point Lonely Nature ~ Spikes ~ Poison Sting ~ Tackle ~ Minimize. Even if I used FRLG, I didn't had to worry about the evolution thingy because hey, Qwilfish doesn't evolve :P |
Oh man i really over trained my sealeo for watson
stupid manectric and stupid magneton |
I progressed more in my Qwilfish run and I have defeated Brawly. Easy with Water Gun. I proceded to Slateport where I defeated many Tubers and Sailors before defeating 2 Aqua Grunts. I defeated May and went to Mauville. Defeated all the trainers in the gym. Wattson is kicking my ass with Shock Wave atm. I'll defeat all the trainers west and east of Mauville before going to Cycling Road, I guess.

Pushed my self to train Anorith to Level 19 before taking down Roxanne. Skipped Brawly for a while, training a bit on Slateport before going back after getting Metal Claw. Beaten Wattson's Magneton with third succession Fury Cutter, grindede Magma & Aqua, beaten Flannery with AncientPower, and evolved Zigzagoon.
Also, finally I got an Armaldo. w00t SHRIMPEH Level ~43 Battle Armor Metal Claw Protect Fury Cutter AncientPower |
Can I still join?
And, I planned using Shroomish-Breloom in FR, am I allowed to do that? I'll use Advance Starter to hack Shroomish. username: darthfader game: fire red pokemon:shroomish-breloom |
It's never too late to join, Darth Fader.
The only problem with using Shroomish in Firered is the fact that it will never evolve. I suppose to could just start the game with Breloom or something o.O that'd be weird. Also, sorry to everyone for not updating the first post. It's a pretty time consuming task, and time is something I don't have a whole lot of. I'll definitely get to it over the weekend sometime, or next Wednesday, cause that's the first day of my summer break. |
I already started on my Leafgreen. I was too impatient.
Trainer: Red Pokemon: Squirtle (Evolving) Here's my update. I started my game with a Squirtle who I named John. I battle my rival after I got squirtle, who got a bulbasaur. We fought and I defeated him. I went to Viridian City training my pokemon. Just to find out I had to go back after I got a parcel for Oak. I went back and he gave me a PokeDex! I trudged to Viridian City and then cut through Viridian Forest. My Pokemon gaining around 7 levels. Then I battle Brock and 1 hit KOed all of his Pokemon with Water squirt. John then evolved into Wartortle. I trudged to Mount Moon then stopped Team Rocket and obtained a Felix stone from a nerd. Then I went to Cerulean, healed my Pokemon and saved. http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:UGa0kzVx52E35M:http://pokemondb.net/images/artwork/wartortle.png John (Wartortle) Lv. 23 Hasty Nature Stats HP: 63 Attack: 35 Sp. I finally did it.... it only took me a week from the time I got to the elite four.... Here is the picture for proof and Solo's final stats. Oh and I agreed with (I can't remember who said it I think Itz spadez did that it wasn't fair to use other poke's as revive fodder, so I didn't....)
Solo (Aggron) LV. 85 Hasty Nature Earthquake Thunderbolt Double Edge Fire blast p.s. I know that's a horrible discription.... I had a way better one written up with pictures and everything.... Then I hit post, and I was told I couldn't post pictures from other sites since I don't have fifteen posts yet.... Lucky me.... Oh well it was a great challenge and I had fun :) Thanks Xephyr! |
I'll give this a try!

First Update!
Swellow - Lv 22. http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/6/6a/Trozeiani277.gif - Wing Attack - Peck - Double Team - Quick Attack |
Wow. An unexpected hiatus on my part. Haven't continued my solo run since my last update.
Decided to only update when I beat the game, and that last update would be short and straight to the point. Anyway, good luck with your own solo runs, guys. |
|
Umm just grind Swellow up more? Or if I were you, I'd start using Double Team six times and then Wing Attack repeatedly. I used a similar strategy with Qwilfish by using Minimize.

Today, I've just dusted off the Elite Four. And Shrimpeh now sits @ Level 83

(SWELLOW IS ALMOST LEVEL 70 AND I ONLY HAVE 4 BADGES!) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Gym Update! So, I reached Petalburg city and enterd the gym, took on all of the trainers (I think) it was hard to figure out considering there was lots of doors, finally reached Dad with Low HP. Defeated his first 2 Pokemon easily, Slaking was more of a challenge as it kept using yawn and facade which wasn't good at all, but I won by a little bit with only a small amount of HP left, Obtained the Balance Badge & TM 42 (Facade) Defeated Norman (Dad) - Swellow Lv 66! http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/ab208/Jowey2010/Pokemon_Emerald_386_04.png *Next update @ Fortree Gym --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Gym Update! Reached Fortree City, had to go meet Steven on the bridge to obtain the Scope lense (I think it's called) and clear the invisible Kecleon blocking the path to the gym. Enterd the gym and took on all the trainers, beat them easily, reached Wiona, Easily took out Pelliper & Tropius, then she sent out Skamory which was difficult (Defeated me twice) with it's resistance to flying type moves >.>, 3rd time lucky I got a critical hit and defeated it, Altaria last, used Dragon dance 4 times, I used aerial ace 4 times and won :P, Defeated Wiona :) (Toughest leader so far by a mile) http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/ab208/Jowey2010/Pokemon_Emerald_386_09.png http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/ab208/Jowey2010/Pokemon_Emerald_386_10.png Obtained the Feather Badge & TM 40 (Aerial Ace) :D http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/ab208/Jowey2010/Pokemon_Emerald_386_11.png *Next Update @ Mossdeep Gym! I went over and got through Rock Tunnel. Uh EASILY. John pwned everyone as most of them were Rock and Normal types. So I got out of Lavender town the went to Cealdon City and beat the gym. I found a Rocket Grunt standing by a poster saying he was guarding it. But Hey! I wanted to see about Cycling Road! Then he sent out a Pokemon and challenged me. Very foolish. I pwned him.
So I beat all the grunts without leaving to heal and still having near perfect HP. Then I got a lift Key from a grunt who dropped it and I went to the lift and went to Base B4. Then there was Giovanni. Easy Smeezy. 1 hit KO for his first two Pokemon. Then an 2 hit for his kangaskan. When he left he dropped a Silph Scope. So I took it and Went to the Pokemon Tower. I got the the 2nd to top floor and when I was about to climb the stairs a ghost appeared! The Silph Scope identified it as the Markowak the Rockets killed. Mr Fuji took me to his house after I met him and he gave me a Pokeflute. I went to Cycling road and found a idol's house. She gave me HM Fly so I would leave. I went outside and wait! A Snorlax is blocking the entrance. I started playing the Pokeflute and it Woke up and attacked. It was easy to defeat. So I beat all the trainers at Cycling road then all the trainer on the alternative route to Fuchia City. Then to make sure I beat all the trainers on Cycling road I went to Cealdon again. And I noticed I needed a move for Grass types. So I got Ice Beam from the Game Corner. Then I got some tea from an old lady. I decided to let it cool down after I beat Koga. I went to the gym and feeled my way around until I got to Koga. Hardest gym yet. He almost won by poisoning John. I had to heal every other turn. He almost got me. I found out the next gym was in Saffron so I went to the gates and found out It was closed. But the guard was thirsty and said I could go if I let him have my tea. He told the other guards to let me around from now on. Awesome. I walked out of the gates of Saffron and found something I didn't like. Rocket grunts. Everywhere.I went to the Dojo and fought my way through. Then I got a Hitmonchan. Then I found Silph Co. The guard for there was snoozing! Ha! I walked right in and saved. http://archives.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/thumb/0/02/009Blastoise.png/170px-009Blastoise.png John the Blastoise @ Lv. 63 with Blackglasses Hasty Nature Stats HP: 188 Atk: 125 Def: 133 Sp.
