Woah.. what just happened?

Well this is simple. Tell of times where you just suddenly realized that you've been in auto-pilot, and the last few moments feel hazy.

Here is my most recent. I was reaching for something in my closet, and then next thing I realized is that I was on the floor. My arm had a scrape, a bump, and a cut. =/ I guess I fell on my TV.

RYOUKI May 13th, 2010 10:31 PM

Gasp! That's called a second personality! If you notice a voice message in your phone saying he wants to take over your life, then you're in trouble. *ahem*

Frankly, I've been on auto-pilot a lot of times, but this is one of the weirdest. One time, I was watching tv and next thing I know, I was outside. I was like weird. I came back to my house (which is on the 4th floor), and realized that I have money in my hand. I must have went down to buy something. xD

hiphiphippo May 14th, 2010 1:21 PM

LOL. that must've been hilarious xD

but no, i dont recall this ever happening to me o-o
it prolly has, but was something minor

SIN1488 May 14th, 2010 1:40 PM

I've never had some extreme ones like those, but a few times I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, and for some reason instead I go on auto-pilot into the kitchen to open the fridge. Then when I open it, I realize that I was suppose to be going to the bathroom, so I just close it and think "Wtf?" as I walk to the bathroom.

Maybe it's just an auto-pilot thing because most of the time when I get up in the middle of the night, it's to get something to drink.

I bet if you told one of those conspiracy theorists that believe in brainwashing that, they would be very scared. Maybe you saw a commercial for some good food and went out to buy it, lol.

Yes I go on autopilot all the time and like you accidents happen. I trip on the carpet and such. I just start thinking about something so much I loose all grip on my current reality.

This is similar to what happens to me xD I'll get up and go somewhere, especially the bathroom or the fridge, and be like "Huh, what am I doing here? I need milk, not toilet paper, wtf."

Honest May 14th, 2010 3:00 PM

OMG, this happens to me at least 5 times everyday, minus school. Plus school, you have 7+ hours of auto-pilot.

xD, my most recent one was actually right on my laptop a few minutes ago. I wanted to go looking around PC, but I blanked out and ended up talking to this girl on Facebook. >_> Not that I minded. xD We're having a nice conversation. xD

Another one was when I was making one of those ramen noodle cup things. Normally I put the water in the cup first, and then put it in the microwave. Well, I guess I dazed out and just put the cup straight into the microwave. About a couple minutes later, I smelt something weird and gross (Burnt ramen noodles smells nasty, especially the flavor I had), and realized it was burning. After getting the smoke out of there, I just threw the thing away, it was too burnt to be good anymore.

A few days later my parents asked me if I did anything to the microwave, and I said no.... Turns out it somehow broke it, but I have no idea how some smoke could completely break the microwave. 0_o

Oh well.....

Whenever I drive my body goes on autopilot. Just driving from here to the grocery store I have limited memory of how I end up there. Which is only about a five minute drive by the way. I guess my body is subconsciously a great driver.

Pretty much this. I'll get up to use the restroom only to find myself in my kitchen serving myself a glass of milk. After I chug it down, I go back to my bedroom, now having to pee more than I did before, and only then do I remember that I got up just to use the potty. What makes this funnier is that my bathroom is adjacent to my bedroom while my kitchen is on the other end of my apartment. XD

TheUltimateSacrifice May 14th, 2010 11:48 PM

That is probably what happened when I signed up to this dump.

Mattysaurus May 16th, 2010 12:46 PM

If this did ever happen to me, I don't remember it.

I seriously have never done this that I can remember. >:

Aegis May 16th, 2010 7:49 PM

Whenever I have to drive somwhere... I'll be sitting in my room and think "oh, I could really go for some Starbucks!" and next thing I know I'm sitting in the drive through line at Starbucks. How did that happen? @[email protected]

Also whenever I go to work (depending on who else is working). I'll get there and kind of zone out and then I snap out of it when my manager *****es at me to take a break haha.

A Pixy May 18th, 2010 5:03 PM

I'm constantly daydreaming so that happens to me on a daily basis. o3o

Zeffy May 18th, 2010 8:38 PM

Happens to me all the time.

The most recent was last night, I slept with my shirt on when I woke up I don't have my shirt on and I few scrapes on my hand. o.0
And on websites, when I'm going to browse PC I instead go to Youtube and watch 'Lady Gaga'. Really wierd.
