Therefore: I'll be spending the next few days backing up data, formating the hard drive and then restoring application and user data. Sigh...now I won't be able to post or draw more Gardevoir pictures until probably Monday. Not only do i have to deal with an ill computer, but I'm going to be spending this weekend with my family and that part will be fun! Since I won't be in here for awhile, I'll say this now:

Happy New Year to one and all and especially to the Gardevoir Fan Club!

Well, time to get cracking...my computer won't repair itself.

This is Dr. Foxx...signing off...for now...

Hope you have fun. By this I mean with your family, not fixing the computer (I'm not that sadistic :p).

And Happy New Year in advance to you too!

Weatherman, Kiyoshi December 30th, 2005 5:38 AM

can I be apart of the club? I love ralts. *thinking: wow, I almost forgot how much I like phychic poke'mon*

Looks like I'm not going away just yet. At last: I've backed up almost all my data and I still haven't gotten a wink fo sleep. The time here is now 7:08 AM at this posting. Thank you, Kohei. I will certainly have fun one way or another. Heck, there's a nice feeling you get whenever you've fixed something, especially in record time! I might have my computer fully up and running by the end of the day.

Welcome Blaze121! It's always nice to have more people come in here. Psychic poke'mon are my personal favorites. Why my dream team is mostly psychic with a touch of fighting:
Gardevoir, Espeon, Lunatone, Lugia, Alakazam and Hariyama.

Sure, Dark and Steel types have an edge over most of them, but one can always try to even the odds a bit with vitamins, HM's and TM's, eh? Yeesh! I don't know how many times I've cleared the tower colisuem in Poke'mon XD trying to get enough currency for vitamins, especially for Gardevoir. It takes a lot of patience to beat the same trainers over and over again with a Camrupt and a Dewgong at Level 72. Of course, I'm both patient and crazy enough to keep this up.

It's amazing how long it takes to erase and then record data onto 5 DVD-RW's. Total Time =4 hours, 17 minutes. I decided to make a few alterations to my second Gardevoir drawing while waiting for my 4X DVD-RW drive to do it's thing. Is this one a bit better?

Now I am signing off for awhile...see ya!

poke-nome123 December 30th, 2005 8:14 AM

I'm hoping you got it, because I slept through the whole thing. I HATE SLEEPING! Urgh......The only thing to make me happy now is to see that episode, that is, if it's not going to repeat......

Dr. Mack Foxx December 30th, 2005 8:23 AM

Are you talking about sleeping through Dr. Foxx VS the Dell Inspiron, or did you miss the episode? I ran a few searches, but came up dry, except for a low-quality subbed version. I suppose this is because the episode in question has not yet aired in the USA: therefore, no one has captured it and encoded it into DivX yet. I'll bet it'll show up within a few days.

Do you think my picture improved a bit or does it need more work? May as well get it right. I will have to get more comfortable drawing Gardevoir, especially if I'm going to turn my fan-fic into a comic.

Now I really am going to sign off for a few hours. I estimate that it will take 5 or more hours to restore everything. See ya later!

poke-nome123 December 30th, 2005 8:28 AM

o.o I forgot, I just looked on Serebii.

And it looks good.

EDIT: Oh, and kohei, on his messege board, I can't read japanese. Do you know of a translated version of that site I can go to so I can read all that stuff?

Aw nuts, I was about to post that Garde picture. :\ Man, I'm slowing down.

Did you install the east asian language pack on WindowsXP? Even though, you can still browse the image board without it. I can't read much japanese, but thats why I just scroll through the page numbers at the very bottom.

The image board wasn't as great as I thought it was, just full of mosty crappy sprites and variations of the same 2 or 3 pictures really. :\

I want to draw a RKG new years pic, but Im backed up with pictures to work on. :|

So....Happy New Years Everyone!

Dr. Mack Foxx December 30th, 2005 4:03 PM

Success! My computer has been almost completely restored. In record time too! By the way, sometimes you can translate a webpage by right-clicking the page and then selecting "Translate." This option might be there because I have the Google Toolbar installed, but maybe not. Give it a shot.

poke-nome123 December 30th, 2005 8:06 PM

I'll try to translate, just gotta copy/paste that link into the search bar and translate it..........I'll be back in a minute or two and see what it says.........

EDIT: Seems it doesn't want to translate for me. Anyone have a link to the translated version, if such a link exists?

Dr. Mack Foxx December 30th, 2005 8:22 PM

Um...you need to go to the web page and then right-click somewhere on the page to access the "Translate" option. You might need the Google Toolbar in order to do this, though.

poke-nome123 December 30th, 2005 8:25 PM

The Google toolbar? How do I acess it? I've never come across such a thing.

kohei December 31st, 2005 6:02 AM

Happy New Year ... tomorrow

I'll upload the New Year picture tomorrow... I'm going to a Pokemon gijinka pic-chat in a second :o

Anyhow, Dr. Mack Foxx, you have a Inspiron too?

And don't bother with the Google toolbar... the grammer errors are so jumbled they'll make no sense.

poke-nome123 December 31st, 2005 9:54 AM

Happy New Year everyone. What's our New Year's resolution? Mine is to either 1) become a Gardevoir a/or Mawile stalker or 2) fill my bookmarks with Gardevoir AND Mawile pics.

Housyasei-san December 31st, 2005 12:58 PM

Well, like I said, you can browse that image board without the aid of anything. Googletoolbar and such aren;t worth it. Most translaters aren't very good, and most japanese uses slang that aren't translatible anyway. Sometimes they just say stuff that have no relation to the pic at all.

.....hahaha....HEHEHEHE...

My resolutions are just 2:
1) Get out more- I need to x_X
2) Procrastionate less- same as above

Anyway, how many pics of RKG do you have Poke-nome and Doc?

poke-nome123 December 31st, 2005 1:49 PM

I'll show my WHOLE bookmarked pics. Hold on, I'll get 'em.......

That's all the pics I got in my bookmarks, not counting IGN topics, pokesho comics, a ytmnd which I wouldn't like to share, and Kine's CW. Those are ALL my bookmarked pics/pages. Evil, aren't I?

Housyasei-san December 31st, 2005 2:38 PM

Heh, want I ment was pictures on your Harddrive. ;)

poke-nome123 December 31st, 2005 3:01 PM

On my harddrive? I don't have any on those, you mean paint? No, then.

Housyasei-san December 31st, 2005 4:23 PM

I mean pictures saved on your harddrive. From the internet? :\

poke-nome123 December 31st, 2005 4:41 PM

I think that's bookmarks.......this logic confuses me.

Dr. Mack Foxx December 31st, 2005 7:48 PM

Ah! Finally! Almost everything has been restored on my computer. Soon, I'll be able to start drawing Gardevoir again as well as continue work on my latest cartoon and start work on my fan-fic turned comic.

The hard drive, scratch disk, etc. The device in your computer that allows for the storage of all files on your computer, especially the operating system. In fact, to save a picture onto your hard drive, either right-click the image and then select "Save Picture As" or, if you're on a MAC, CTRL + Click the image and then select "Download to Disk".

poke-nome123 December 31st, 2005 7:56 PM

Oh, THAT. No, I haven't saved pictures to my computer.

EDIT: Happy New Year Gardevoir fans! The ball dropped, it's 4 minutes into '06 now.

And I've attached a new year pic too.

poke-nome123 December 31st, 2005 9:07 PM

What's that she's eating? And what's the blue thing?

EDIT: I don't know what force made me think of this, nor know what it means, but let the GardeGod watch over us all.

poliwhirl December 31st, 2005 10:52 PM

sorry for not posting that much but its the new year! well i was shopp8ing and i found a ralts doll that was so cute so i had to buy it. but the woman at the cahier said i had to buy the set but wehn i looked at the other two, they looked like something a poor person would make so i said no and i couldnt get the ralts, ~WHAAAAAAA~ so i will try again tommarow spelling sucksss.....

Dr. Mack Foxx December 31st, 2005 10:55 PM

Nice picture, Kohei!

T-Minus 1 Hour and 6 Minutes until 2006 in my locale...

Too bad...a Ralts, Kirlia and Gardevoir set would be quite interesting, agreed?

12:01 AM January 1st, 2006

Happy New Year to everyone here at the Gardevoir Fan Club!

Yeesh...I must be the last one in this forum who experienced the New Year! Heh, heh! Ah, another excellent year is under way.

-My New Year's Resolution-
1. Complete at least two cartoons
2. Start on and complete my fan-fic as a comic

And happy new year to you, Dr. Mack Foxx!

As for my new year resolution;
- Draw more
- Get better at drawing
- Improve website
- Add more content to site

poke-nome123 January 1st, 2006 8:29 AM

There's a drawback for the new year; people register at IGN to show that the worst of '05 will be NOT as worse as to what THEY'LL do.

So when's the Gardevoir epi again? This Saturday?

Dr. Mack Foxx January 1st, 2006 8:51 PM

IGN sounds kinda cracked to me...gadzooks...

Nice picture, Kohei! I think Gardevoir likes quite nice in a kimono. If my memory serves me correctly, mochi is a type of ice cream dish and a good one at that! I'll also be working a lot more at getting better at drawing, especially if one is to draw a good graphic novel.

poke-nome123 January 1st, 2006 10:41 PM

Well, when you get it down to the basics, it DOES sound kinda cracked............I deal with it anyway. There's more than what the eye sees, IGN stands for Internet Gaming Network, and a GOOD one at that. It has pretty much everything about games, and I, for one, am only interested on the boards there for some reason.......I don't really much care about the other parts, only when I need a guide for a certain game. Other than that, bleah.

Kine January 2nd, 2006 6:52 AM

That 'blue thing' is kohei. And as I said elsewhere, that pic is awesome.

I never make resolutions. I mean, I'll never remember them, and no one ever lives up to them, so it's kind of a waste.

All that said, happy belated new year.

Weatherman, Kiyoshi January 2nd, 2006 7:06 AM

HAPPY NEW YEAR, although, it was yesterday, but its never to late to say it.
I really like the pictures on the last page.
as you can guess, I canged my avvy to a cat. *he*

poke-nome123 January 2nd, 2006 9:31 AM

I once had a cat, a black cat. We decided to have a cat, but since I was allergic to certain types of animal fur, we had to take him back. Good cat, actually. He'd just jump on my bed and purr in my face.

poliwhirl January 2nd, 2006 9:04 PM

i like cats.......
anyways my bro is leaving today and im kinda sad but he'll be back... in march
so i cant wait to see the ralts ep but in korea, we dont get it. so i am going to have to search for it on bnittorret +sorry anyways i just cant wait!

kohei January 3rd, 2006 12:28 AM

The sad thing is that I also downloaded the Ralts/Kirlia/Garde & Kirlia/Wobbuffet episodes, but when I watched them, there was no audio what so ever.

So, I made up the lines in my head.

Anyway, some scraps which I drew at my site...
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y211/kohei_iwasa/boomheadshot-ralts.png
Ralts: "Boom Headshot!"

Wally (yes thats suppost to be him... I never drew him to think about it): "What did you say to me? No more Pure Pwnage for you!"

Ralts: "Oh, so no more Pure Pwnage? Won't you reconsider that?"

Wally: "No, never... I stand by my words"

Ralts: "Ok, I respect your decision. But..."

Wally: "Wait... No NO NO!! Ralts, put that BACK!"

*BOOM! headshot*

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y211/kohei_iwasa/boomheadshot-the-conclusion.png
Ralts: "Darn, I must've accidently discharged it.
Oh well, only one bullet wasted."

Dr. Mack Foxx January 3rd, 2006 2:15 AM

Having problems with video file playback? You've got a digital multimedia expert in here. Feel free to ask me any questions you have, Kohei. I'll bet I can get those episodes to work properly. I just need to know what kind of video file they are: AVI, MPG, MOV, MKV, OGM, DIV, DIVX, etc.

Well, I'm certainly glad that your brother will be coming back within a few months, Poliwhirl. There were times when I didn't get to see my brothers for months too.

Happy New Year to you too, Blaze121!

The format is ".3gp". I never heard of this format, and the audio doesn't work on VLC (which has all the codecs, according to a friend).

Kine January 3rd, 2006 6:34 AM

Yay! Wally was shot... even though I don't have anything against him anymore. =3

Dr. Mack Foxx January 3rd, 2006 10:18 AM

.3GP, eh? I've have yet to download any file in that format, but I know how to get it to work. VLC Media Player is quite useful, but no one media player can actually handle every video and audio format that's out there. I actually have about 10 different media players installed on my computer, just to insure that I have compatibility with virtually any media file. However, I don't think you'll need my kind of setup, Kohei, to enjoy those episodes. Tell me, Kohei, do you have the QuickTime Player installed on your computer and what operating system are you using?

poke-nome123 January 3rd, 2006 11:52 AM

...........Wow. Wally got shot. Now who's gonna take care of 'im? The Ralts, that is? (Wally in the games gets a MALE Ralts) Also, is that the full thing of what they're supposed to say? Or did you make that up?

Excellent, Kohei. Here is what you need to do: if you do not have QuickTime 7, download and install it and then open the .3GP file with QuickTime Player. That should do the trick. QuickTime is supposed to be 3GP compliant. Please let me know if this works.

I wonder where you got all the newer episodes these days? I already have the RKG episode from a long time ago, but that was from some video thread. Ah well.

Kohei, you drew Wally kinda cute. :o

I drood Garde yesterday in a paintchat.*attaches pic* I'm beginning to use tones since it's fast and if I stay on the pchat for too long, my comp lags a lot. ^______________^

Nice colouring! BTW, you draw in Shi-Paintchat right? Not Takamin?

I have no comment on your opinion on Wally :0

Dr. Mack Foxx January 3rd, 2006 9:46 PM

Your welcome, Kohei. Glad to be of help.

poke-nome123 January 4th, 2006 3:22 AM

When I did my homework last night, all I had in my head was GARDEVOIR, MAWILE, and once JIRACHI in my head for some reason. Me being here has been a big help to my world. That, and some exclusions........

EDIT: PS, the Ralts epi got its official name, "Do I Hear A Ralts?"!

No, that was in a PaintBBS chat thinger, but I like Shi better.

As for the episode. Wow, I remember having to wait 2 weeks for the original episode to play a year ago. Now I'm waiting on the dub version. Surreal. "Do I hear a Ralts?" is an ok name I guess. :\

Welcome back! Altough I saw your new stuff on dA...

Now, I'll just post stuff I drew just now.
First attempt at line-less drawing.

Kine January 5th, 2006 7:10 AM

Nice use of tone, H-San. And the lineless Gardevoir looks good too, kohei. I'd say more but I'm sleep deprived this morning. =_=

poke-nome123 January 5th, 2006 11:49 AM

I don't come across lineless art much, less if they are Gardevoir, but by my standards, that is good. It's tricky; without lines, there's no limitations to where color can go, and in the bad way. But it's good.

pichugirl January 5th, 2006 2:25 PM

Hi I'm back! Srry for not posting our computers got broken by someone(looking a mom) but anyway I'm back. Happy New Years!

poke-nome123 January 5th, 2006 2:33 PM

Hello. Welcome back, I say! WELCOME BACK! Nice to see someone from oh so far back COME back!

I know how computers break down like that; I had several that broke down, because a certain GRANDPA somehow lost his 'fix a computer' license and now trying his best. But, knowing him, best comes to me as a pile of logs. Why I said 'pile of logs', I don't know.

pichugirl January 5th, 2006 2:46 PM

Anyway I almost lost my gardevoir! My sister threw the game into our pool good thing nothing got erased those a certain SISTER of my got splashed by cold freezing water I wonder who could have done that? *looks innocently*

poke-nome123 January 5th, 2006 2:52 PM

Should've gone with boiling hot water with it, though. Cold + Hot = you don't wanna know. If you watch the show Case Closed, you should know what I'm talking about.

I could rate/recommend what your Garde needs if you give me its moveset, item it's holding, ability, EVs, and nature. I'll get that Garde in tip-top shape in no time, I'll need to evaluate and check.

pichugirl January 5th, 2006 2:55 PM

1 sec.... oh wait a certain MOTHER took all my games cause she thinks someone put a hole in the 2,000 years old piece of mess she calls a sofa. I swear I didn't do it!!!!!!

poke-nome123 January 5th, 2006 2:58 PM

That sucks. Oh well, you can lurk around the house when she is gone and you're the only one in the house and see if you can find it. I'll be waiting.

BTW have you found/made any Garde art you wanna share?

Dr. Mack Foxx January 5th, 2006 4:04 PM

Greetings, Pichugirl. I'm one of the newer members of the Gardevoir Fan Club. It's certainly a good thing that Gardevoir and all your Poke'mon weren't wiped out during their afternoon swim. You'd be surprised just how sturdy Gameboys and Gameboy games are. I remember hearing tales of how someone's Gameboy was caught in the middle of a burning house. The house burned to the ground and the Gameboy ended up being recovered. Despite the fact that the outer casing was slightly melted and the game had been more or less "Glued" in place, the device started right up and the guy could still play that one game. Speaking of erasing game data, here's a story from my life:

WAAAAAAAAY back in 1992, my brothers and I got an SNES with a bunch of games for Christmas and my dad said that if at least 2 of the three us brothers managed to defeat Bowser in Super Mario World, he would buy us another game. For the first month, things went well, until a younger cousin of our's decided to go through and erase all our data! He ended up doing that twice more before we decided to not let him use our game any more. In the end, my older brother and I nailed Bowser and Dad bought us Super Mario All Stars.

Heh, heh! How often does one get rewarded for clearing a videogame these days?

Speaking of raising a Gardevoir, here's my recipie for success, if you just acquired a Ralts, anyway. If you have a LOT of patience and/or are crazy enough, here's what you do: feed the Ralts a full load of vitamins(10 of each, if possible- Total Cost=588,000). Then fight lot's and LOT's of battles against really weak foes: this is where patience and/or insanity is crucial. The end result: at Level 100, your Gardevoir will be a force to be reckoned with. Of course, customizing Gardevoir's moves with TMs and HMs isn't a bad idea either.

poke-nome123 January 5th, 2006 4:19 PM

How can one save data on SMW? I can't, and, as I seen before, there is a way to WOW your dad. There's a special glitch, well, technecly, it isn't, but if you type 'mario' in google video search, one of them shows a GUY THAT BEAT THE GAME IN LESS THAN TEN MINUTES. I was amazed.

It's good if you give the Ralts the vitamins that raise:

Special Attack
Speed (most Gardevoirs are slow)
And last but not least, Defense

Here's a Garde info that isn't half bad:

Gardevoir with Leftovers, ability Trace, nature Modest (I think)
Calm Mind
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Skill Swap/Imprison (your choice)

That's a good Gardevoir, in netbattle, that is. It could be a good Special Attacker for your team.

If I didn't say this before, (*looks back* Nope, I didn't) I am a new member, newer than Dr. Mack Foxx. I was brought here in search of Gardevoir pics, and boy, I hit the JACKPOT, MAN!

Dr. Mack Foxx January 5th, 2006 8:10 PM

You can save your data in Super Mario World by beating a Ghost House, a Koopa Kid's castle or by annihilating the Reznor in a Fortress.

I think I'm gonna rip as much of the soundtrack as possible from Poke'mon XD if I need a good way to kill some time.

kohei January 5th, 2006 8:33 PM

Good Garde?
I usually go with 252Spec.Att / 252HP / 6Def
With:
Psychic
T-Bolt
Calm Mind
Rest

Simple to use... just Calm Mind -> Rest

Best used when holding Chesto Berry, and works best at VS Lv.50 matches.

kohei January 6th, 2006 1:39 AM

Yeah I'm double posting.

I drew a Garde in the oekaki, and it sort of came out better than I expected.

As a side-note, I redrew her breasts half way into the colouring stage since they were too big for my liking.

poke-nome123 January 6th, 2006 3:49 AM

Oh, THAT Super Mario World. I was thinking you were talking about the one with Duck Hunt on it. That one had a glitch. You can still watch the speedrun, though.........

Housyasei-san January 6th, 2006 9:49 PM

My family had an NES that came with a SuperMarioBros./Duck Hunt/some athletic game combo. It was and still is awesome today.

Kohei, you certainly getting better at the oekaki as your two recent pictures show. ^^

And Jynx, I love your invisible comment on my picture. ^_________^

Remember, Raltsie episode tommarrow! :D So instead of "SANASANA~", Garde will be drooling out "GARDEVIOOOOOOOOOR~" and will just stand there...doing nothing at all! Except holding Kirlia back from attacking. W00Terz!

poke-nome123 January 7th, 2006 6:28 AM

Uhh.......I think the Snorunt epi is today.............I dunno, if the "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snorunt" episode has shown, then it's today. Keep your eyes peeled for when Gardevoir says its line!

EDIT: Just as I thought. Absol-ute Disaster is today's epi. 2 weeks to go.

Thanks, I really needed to know that. :\

Yea, I woke up to that stupid Absol episode for nothing. No wait...I woke up to that stupid Bratz cartoon THEN I saw the stupid Absol episode. NutterButters. :(

poke-nome123 January 7th, 2006 1:02 PM

T-there's a Bra-I mean, THAT cartoon out there? This world IS coming to an end! AAAAAAAAAH! *runs away*

But yeah, two more epis until RKG FINALLY get what they deserve; a turn in the spotlight.

Dr. Mack Foxx January 7th, 2006 7:08 PM

Gadzooks! A Bratz Cartoon?! I think I'm gonna be ill...Yeesh, all we need now is organic Twinkies and I think I'll have seen just about everything.

A few more weeks until the RKG episode, eh? Hmmm...

Nothing much to say here, except that I'm ripping music from Super Smash Brothers Melee, Poke'mon XD and Megaman X Command Mission. This is mostly an experiment so I can get better at editing digital audio as well as toy around with the latest audio codecs.

poke-nome123 January 7th, 2006 10:22 PM

Did you just say Megaman?................*freaking cycle initiates* GYAAAAAH! NON-NINTENDO ROBOTS OF DOOM! *runs away screaming like Johnny Bravo*

By how you say what you say, I think you're the Prof. E. Gadd of this dimention...........

Dr. Mack Foxx January 7th, 2006 10:25 PM

Don't care much for Megaman?

Here's something interesting: back when I used to go to middle school (Middle Heck as I call it), my friends always said I was like a mad scientist because of how I used long words constantly. Sometimes my extended vocabulary was enough to bewilder some people, which was quite fun. I should do some more schematic renderings of Gardevoir soon.

Yes, some more stuff to wait patiently for :D

As for some Gardevoir-related-but-not-really information, I was just listening to a song remixed by a person called Sana.

Small world we live in.

poke-nome123 January 8th, 2006 7:53 AM

Very, VERY small world.....but at least it fits all of us.

Long words?.........*stares blankly*

Dr. Mack Foxx January 9th, 2006 10:12 PM

Hmmm...not much happening here lately, eh? I'm still working on my story.

Yeah... there's too little Garde-related stuff going on.

Altough I did find a art site where there is a really cool looking female Garde, a overly serious Ruakrio, and Auron who is a pervert. And there's a Blaziken as well: here

Warning: There is some RukarioxAuron stuff. Mostly just comdey but be warned OK?

poke-nome123 January 10th, 2006 3:27 AM

Ugh........It's in JAPANESE...........Anyone who can bring art from that site will be apreciated.........since I can't read japanese, I can't navigate around that site..........although I'd much perfer anime Garde. You know, the pic I posted a page or something ago..............I'd go with that.

Ah yes. I'll post the link to the gallery, even if you choose to stick with the anime Garde pic, since others may want to see it.

Personally for me, fanart Garde beats official Garde anyday.

Kine January 10th, 2006 6:47 AM

Fan art beats official anything, unless the official has a whole lot of style on it's own.

I think I've seen pics from there before. Housyasei gave some of them to me (or something similar) months ago.

I could rate/recommend what your Garde needs if you give me its moveset, item it's holding, ability, EVs, and nature. I'll get that Garde in tip-top shape in no time, I'll need to evaluate and check.

Ok I have it back one sec..
Nature: Sassy
Item: None
level:42
moveset:flash return,future sight confusion
ability:trace

poke-nome123 January 10th, 2006 12:54 PM

Hmmm......I'd perfer Modest over Sassy, and bring it out when a Shedinja comes out. (Trace MIGHT just copy Wonder Guard) Let it hold Leftovers. If the Garde is for battling, go for Calm Mind, Thunderbolt, Psychic, and Imprison/Skill Swap. (Skill Swap if you want to go with Syncronize) If it is for exploring, go with Flash for dungeons, or just put Flash over Skill Swap/Imprison. That way, the moveset isn't messed up with much.

poliwhirl January 12th, 2006 2:34 AM

Ok guys, in a couple of days, im going to get pokemon XD please give me info on what i should put in my team. i will put gardevoir and i noticed that you gets ralts but its at level 20 does it still evolve?

poke-nome123 January 12th, 2006 3:19 AM

My team in siggy ownz most teams, that is, they have the correct moveset to do so.

I guess like any Pokemon game, you won't have much problem with enemies as long as your team has sufficently high levels, so you can go with any team you want.

Note that I never played XD before, so yeah.... :/

Dr. Mack Foxx January 12th, 2006 1:26 PM

Ah, Poke'mon XD. Certainly the best 3D Poke'mon adventure available. I'd give it an 8 out of 10 overall. Kohei is correct that superior levels are almost always the key to success. As for Ralts at Level 20, all you have to do is let is participate in battles until it's heart gauge is ready. When you purify it then, all that needs to happen is that Ralts recieved enough experience to gain one level. With one level, Ralts will evolve into a graceful Kirlia.

As for a suitable team, you can use just about anything. My team on XD is Gardevoir, Espeon, Hariyama, Houndoom...and I can't currently remember the rest. I've been playing Megaman X Command Mission for the last few weeks. Yes. I'm a traitor!

Good choice of avatar, Pichugirl.

poke-nome123 January 12th, 2006 3:12 PM

It gets a 10/10 any day, anytime with me. Currently waiting for Dragon Quest 8 to burn at my grandpa's.........by burn, I mean copy. Reason to burn: Scratches. MANY of them. Can't even acsess the title screen anymore, but the weird thing is.......my brother's games are scratched, and they work just fine. 0_o

Team status is in the high 60's, one is at low 70's. I'm thinking of replacing a few (not Gardevoir or Jolteon, of course) with some that might erase a few weaknesses, also to beat Mt.Battle, I got up to 99, almost won. =(

Solarys January 13th, 2006 10:55 PM

What's the big idea with Gardevoir??? Some1 plz start a MEOWTH fan club or at least a RAYQUAZA one!!! Gardevoir is 1 of the most annoying Psychic types there is ><, dunno y ppl like him... hate this set: Willowisp, Calm Mind, TBolt, Psy... I suppose Alakazam owns him... (hope...) This dude's so annoying in Battle Frontier... he pwns my Dusclops easy altho im super effective against him... cuz he gets to attack first with willowisp and im stuffed >< LOL

Dr. Mack Foxx January 14th, 2006 12:19 AM

(Click! Whrrrrr!) Ah. According to my mainframe, we have an unwanted presence. No matter. If my database is correct, Meowth tends to be rather selfish while Gardevoir would give it's life for it's trainer. Gardevoir is far from annoying...

I'm still working on my story...progress is slow...

kohei January 14th, 2006 2:04 AM

Garde is like the Glock of the gun world. Yes.

We don't care about if Garde is annoying in battle or not.

We, well at least me love her because of her attractive appearence.

*Click*
Loads newly bought AK47

Solarys January 14th, 2006 3:14 AM

Come on - he's a DUDE!!! See Wally's one? HE's ALWAYS MALE IN EVERY GAME!!! and there are like 7/8 Ralts are male on that route Wally caught his!!! Say attractive, well he is sort of cute and cuddly and (somewhat) evil, but Misdreavus takes that place :D ... Well he looks better than Alakazam though (u dont eat with 2 spoons...), thats a good thing... LOL!

BTW, I've looked in that route Wally caught his Ralts and I found like 10 of them and they're ALL MALE!!! This is so wrong!!! Or just me? LOL...

poliwhirl January 14th, 2006 3:29 AM

Solarys please do not post here again or else i have no other reason then going to the administrator and report you. This is a club where we do not diss other pokemon i am sure you will be offended if anyone made fun of meowth so please keep to yourself. if it does not deal with Gardevoir then it is no importance as i am sure, the members of this club are greatly offended by your rude remarks. If you have nothing good to say, then dont say anything please solarys dont post here anymore if you have nothing to say.

PS if you are not here then check your mail

Solarys January 14th, 2006 4:20 AM

OK, ok, lol. Meowth has something to say to youse:
What's the best nature for Gardevoir? Lonely or what? Considering he got Uber special stats already and it doens't need boosting, and he can't take a Shadow Ball anyways so I don't think Bold's gonna help much...LOL.
So i reckon Lonely is a good nature and max out Atk to at least 245+ and raise Sp.A and SP.D both to 300+. This set worked for me so far: Calm Mind, Shadow Ball, Psychic, HdnPower (Fighting, against Dark types, pwnz Tyranitar bad with 2HKO.), and for item i give him Lum Berry to exploit his Synchronize, LOL! But the only annoying guy here is Metagross...
So, yeah... might be just a weird moveset but I dont usually use psychics as so many other types can learn TM29...

BTW, Lonely is the nature I chose for Alakazam: 200+ atk, 350+ Sp.a and 300+ speed. with Substitute, Focus Punch, Psychic, Recover, again, pwned by Metagross ><...

Solarys January 14th, 2006 4:23 AM

BTW how come Gardevoir cant learn any PHYSICAL punches (eg. Focus Punch, Dynamic Punch...) like Alakazam can? (Or its just a bug with my ROM?) He's got way better attack stat than Alakazam ><

poke-nome123 January 14th, 2006 8:57 AM

GREAT! My computer, after all these days of running and stopping, is finally UP AND RUNNING! I can post agian without rude interuptions!

Solarys, Modest would be your best choice for Garde, like this set:

Gardevoir with ability Trace, item Leftovers, nature Modest
EVs: 252 (is that right?) Sp. Attack, 252 Speed, 2-4 HP
Calm Mind
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Skill Swap/Imprison (your choice)

If Meowth is so important to you, why don't you start a Meowth club? Why come to this one?

Also, Garde's attack is too low to do anything with. It can't learn physical punches because its attack is too low to do any damage, much less hit if possible. If my moveset doesn't work, tanper with it all youo like, but don't change much. Netbattle is a good way to test movesets.

I hope I cleared about everything up a bit.

EDIT: My keyboard hates me. XD

Dr. Mack Foxx January 14th, 2006 1:11 PM

Gardevoir may not be able to learn punches, but I know of a more devestating attack: RETURN! Since my Gardevoir in XD likes me so much (Thanks to lots of levels and vitamins) Return does hideous amounts of damage, even to Poke'mon of the same level. Even Dark types were getting thuroughly pulverized.

poke-nome123 January 14th, 2006 5:02 PM

Max out Attack if you want to use Return, also max out happiness. That way, it'll be one lean, mean, Pokemon-fighting machine. (don't ask me why that phrase popped into my head)

Dr. Mack Foxx January 14th, 2006 5:37 PM

Indeed, Poke-nome. Indeed!

Solarys January 14th, 2006 11:34 PM

"Also, Garde's attack is too low to do anything with. It can't learn physical punches because its attack is too low to do any damage, much less hit if possible."

Um... not really, he has pretty good attack, 1 of the best in the non-Uber Psychic types (maybe Hypno's is a tiny bit higher), and he can learn Fire, Ice and Thunder Punches. But this still doent explain why Alakazam can learn Mega, Dynamic, Focus etc Punches, and even Mega Kick and BBreak with his 50 attack, and Gardevoir can't with his 65 attack...

BTW, for natures, is it better to boost even more a high stat (eg SP.A), or to boost a weak stat (Def)? Because i dont really see the point in having 383 Sp.a while u can Calm Mind it up... (All stats are capped at 999 so there you are..). Thats y i choose Lonely or Brave for most Psy types. Tell me if u think this is stupid ><. However i do choose those natures for a reason: i only play Psy's after BPassing a Iron Defense and/or a Swords Dance onto them, because they're SO FRAGILE its not even funny... (Persian's not much better but he's got speed and a cheap Fake Out.)

PS: I just found out something so WRONG - Gardevoir can learn BODY SLAM!!! He's not even big or heavy (1.6m isnt that big considering his 40 odd Kg weight...) But its funny though LOL! (ROFL @ my mental pic of a BODY SLAM following a TELEPORT to the enemy's back... LOL!!!)
