Do Not Click This Title

So now that you're here it might be already the answer to what I ask you. Do you fall for or use reverse psychology often? I think we've all tried it at one stage to try get someone to do it and I think a lot of us have fallen for it once or twice.

As for me, I have good self-control so if I really wanted to deny something, I'd be pretty good at ignoring someone's atempt to try persuade me into something by suggesting I do the opposite.

Limey-chan May 14th, 2010 1:16 PM

Seeing as I clicked this thread, I guess I fall for it quite often xD

But nah, i'm usually okay with things like that. I do get caught out sometimes, due to my curiosity getting the better of me.

Bluerang1 May 14th, 2010 1:35 PM

I do, just in-case it isn't reverse psychology. lol. I'm semi-gullible too.

Skip Class May 14th, 2010 2:43 PM

Well it kind depends on the thing I'm clicking on usually I can ignore it but other times It's far temptng

Honest May 14th, 2010 2:50 PM

I knew what was gonna happen, but I wanted to answer so had to click it, no? xD

But I fall for these a hell of a lot. As my friends say, I'm very gullible. And whenever I try them on my friends, they never work out. -_-;

~GodricGryffindor9~ May 15th, 2010 3:36 PM

I dont really fall for it. I was just curious as to why the thread was named so. But I have used it sometimes to get my brothers to do a task I am not really fond of. Lol

Sammi May 15th, 2010 7:07 PM

On the Internet, all the time. The curiosity gets the better of me.

In real life, not so much. There's this one place on my way to work. It's a blacked-out window except for one little spot, and in white, it says "Do Not Look!" I've always wanted to look, but I'm honestly afraid to look inside. .___.;;

loliwin May 15th, 2010 7:30 PM

I use it on the Internetz! XD Maybe my actions irl are better. :O

EmeraldSerenade May 15th, 2010 8:44 PM

Do you fall for or use reverse psychology* often?

On the internet: Of course! "Do Not Click This!" Me: Must click...

IRL: not so much. im smart enough to know what to do and what not to do ;P

♣Gawain♣ May 16th, 2010 4:31 AM

Mainly of the fact that the title is very tempting, yes. I do not click on really suspicious ones though.

Graceful May 16th, 2010 4:38 AM

Call Me Stupid But...Yeah! (On The Internet Mostly Though. I'm Too Smart) There's This Thing In Teenagers Minds That Make Them Do Something That Clearly States "Do Not" At The Start Of The Sentance. It's Something Called "Temptation"
It's Life Really -_-;

(Example : ~ "Do Not Click This LINK!!"......Me: Must...Click....*clicks*

Mattysaurus May 16th, 2010 12:53 PM

I didn't click the title because of temptation. I clicked it because I was clicking on all the unreplied threads of OVP. >:

I don't usually get tempted to do things when told not to. ;;

Eternal Nightmare May 16th, 2010 3:18 PM

I'm a sucker for something online that says "Do not Click." As humans, we are naturally curious so its easy to get click xD.

Besides that, I do not usually fall for reverse psychology as I'm the one who uses it more often then not :3.

SacredMiKeY May 25th, 2010 4:00 AM

i use it for people who make dumb decisions
and try to make them see the error of their ways

Zeffy May 25th, 2010 7:19 PM

It happens to me a lot on the internet. IRL though, I'm the one who usually uses reverse psychology on my friends.

alisaie May 25th, 2010 7:22 PM

Usually I don't bother clicking them, unless I'm either extremely bored, or I do it for the lulz. I don't exactly remember the last time I did such a thing either. XD;

Tyrantrum May 26th, 2010 12:20 AM

Hell yeah I do. I click what I want. >:|

Sometimes it takes me to some... strange websites, though... o____o;;

derozio May 26th, 2010 3:03 AM

Although I normally don't click on stuff that rouse my curiosity, 'threads' are an exception. I dunno, I ignore most of the other links coz I think they're potentially harmful, perhaps. But yeah, in the case of threads with names like 'Don't click over me' or 'Only for Girls. Boys stay away', curiosity gets the better of me. xD;

Elite Overlord LeSabre™ May 26th, 2010 10:02 AM

On the internet, it's far easier to fall for it than IRL. At least it is for me.

And of course I use reverse psychology. What kind of cunning evil genius would I be if I didn't? xD
