Ways to cheat the PokéWalker
I spent countless hours for literaly Two nights with only 4 hours of sleep trying to find out the best ways to cheat the walker. Ive tried to tape it to my fan.
EPIC FAIL Then i tried other ways that i found on the internet. These are the ones that work. Feel free to post your ways! 1. the old fan trick I approved this =3 tape a peice of string to the fan. run the string through something hollow (preferably round) tape the hollow object to a chair, bed, etc (this works best on a chair) tape the string to the PokéWalker Let er' rip! (Turn the fan on, at around medium speed) you accumelate an estimated 600 watts/7000 steps an hour 2. The Plasma ball WARNING: this has a small chance of causing you to lose data, so just in case, put a less valued pokémon in the PokéWalker. put the Walker by a plasma ball and it should accumelate steps over time. Plasma balls only cost around 10-20$ 3. The vibrator trick put your walker on the washer or dryer on heavy load. put your walker on top of it. this doesnt rack up as many points though Well, thats all i know! Feel free to post your ideas to! |
Put the walker on a LP player ^^
|
Huh. I just leave it in my bag while I go out :P
If I'm not going out, I shake it. Although, an hour-long car drive often leaves me with at least 1000 steps o_0 sometimes speed bumps ARE good for something. xD |
lol yea. sometimes when im just bored, i tie my walker to a peice of string and wave it around like a pendulum. lol. it works thou =3
|
Not a bad idea xD
Huh, I find it pretty cool that we each have an Umbreon in our sig :P |
Just flip you subwoofer/speaker over and tape your pokewalker on it so it won't fall of. Play music! xD I get 2000 steps in ~10 mins.
|
Ninphelos that really works??...............I just put my pokewalker on one of those handheld back massagers and leave it there.10 watts a minute.!

Interesting. And here I hadn't even considered "using a cheat" on my PokeWalker. XD
I am just too much of a goody two-shoes. |
Ahahaha, yeah. before i started using cheats on it, i used to run alll day. and all the time people would say i run/walk to much :S

Getting old has its downsides. :D |

but anyways. me and my StepBrother are almost done making a new cheat :3 |
Midnight the umbreon what is the new cheat gonna be??
|
Were still working on it, but it includes the fan. we thought we finished it already, but when we tested it, the walker flew off the string and tackled the wall XD

Oh! I found another way to cheat. Put on the panel of your car and go ride! I've got 2000 steps |

Back on topic: I generally walk a minimum of 5 miles a day so I don't have much of a reason to cheat. |
Put it on the spokes of your bike. Then ride! But I have an idea where I'll put it on my dogs collar. Haven't tried it yet. Heheh.
|
Hit it with a bat and see what happens. P.S I'll try it later.

=3 hehe.... lol Ugh. My brothers starting to become useless, lol XD were coming up with ideas, but what sucks is we take the time to test them, and they end up not working. The kewlest trick i think is the fan Trick lol =P |
I have the best cheat for it. I sorta have restless legs. So I constantly shake my legs because it just feels natural to me to do so. So what I do when I'm sitting down, is I put a sock on my foot and attach the Pokewalker to my sock. (If the plastic irritates my skin, I put the walker on a hair tie, and put the hair tie around my ankle/sock. So, as I naturally and constantly shake my legs, I get TONS of watts! I do this because I'm home for summer and I'm at home all the time..so I don't get much walking done since I'm not in school right now. Lolz
I can get like 5,000 watts a day this way if I keep at it. |
One thing I figured out you could do is roll it in between your figures. That gets tiring fast so I normally just put it on my wrist on some sort of band or string and shake my hands since I do that a lot normally. What I haven't tried yet it putting it in a completely sealed bag and the letting it run in the shower (water will cause it to shake) or I attach it to my turtle.
|
LOL attach it to your turtle? Rofl!! I couldn't attach it to mine, he's like a Squirtle, lives in water. But my rats run around like crazy, haha, they could collect points for me wayy fast! But I wouldn't have an animal do it, wouldnt want them to get hurt by it.
|
lol to be honest i havnt used to poke walker...
|
Here's some things I do that work:
Attach it to a seatbelt that's not being used in a schoolbus. (It doesn't work as well in a car or other vehicle.) Attach a short string to it (around 10cm is probably good) and swing it around. Bribe your siblings or parents to walk around with it while you're asleep. (It's not cheating but it does work.) Attach a string to it and loop it around your foot while you sleep. Make sure your foot is off the side of the bed. (The longer string the better, as long as it's not extremely long, about as high as the bed when looped is good.) I don't have a ceiling fan so these are my best ways to go. They all work but I still can't top going to an anime convention and walking around with it there. Last time I did that, I got over 20,000 steps that day. And I didn't mind walking because it was a fun time. Just walk around during a fun event and that will get you steps without thinking about it. LOL I even had it in my purse, not on my belt. ^_^ |
